  • They are always very punctual. I don't really wait very long. They are all very nice and they always call to confirm the appointment. They schedule my appointment 6 months out so I don't usually have a problem. The staff is usually pretty friendly. The billing is being taken care of by a bigger organization than the doctor's office so sometimes I am not billed for a few months.

  • The results were great, however, we received a bill in late June for $979 from Doctor Gomez The radiologist labeled their part of the test as diagnostic and our insurance gladly paid that portion. We called Gomez' office and left a message. A couple days later we called again and were told that the test was miscoded as infertility treatment and that it would be corrected. Approximately two weeks later, we received a second bill for the same $979. I called and left a voicemail for the office manager, Barb. A couple days later, I had not yet received a return phone call and called the office once again. I actually spoke with Barb and was informed that they were switching computer systems and that she would give me a call in approximately 3 business days. Approximately 8 days later, I had yet to have any communication with Barb and left another message. My wife had a follow up appointment and I was then able to talk to Debbie in the office. Debbie explained to me that they have been very busy and apologized for the lack of communication from herself and Barb. I told her it has happened several times and it is almost impossible to speak with anyone. Debbie continued to insist that it would be corrected and should have an answer in a day or so. Two days later, my wife received a phone call from Doctor Gomez who informed my wife that the test was labeled as infertility treatment because every time the test is done, the patient almost always gets pregnant. Gomez confirmed that my wife was indeed pregnant and that the test did was he wanted it to do. Gomez told my wife, that he would not change the code on the test and that she had better pay the bill and forget about it. Gomez said if we continue to fight it, then it is likely the radiologist will change the code on his part of the procedure, which would make us have to pay that portion as well.



    Communication is lacking to say the least. This office has completely ignored all calls and is not at all organized. My wife was told two times since the HSG test to come in at a certain time/date to get blood work. Both times, no one in the office was expecting her or new why she had come in the office.



    My wife had purposely driven 30 minutes to the office because she had always enjoyed Gomez and never had any problem with him or his office. She is now in the process of finding a new OBGYN and will not continue to be a patient of Gomez, Women's Health Partnership West, or Obstetrics and Gynecology of Indiana.



    I placed a formal complaint with Obstetrics and Gynecology of Indiana on August 5, 2013 and was told this would be forwarded on and I would receive a follow up call concerning my many complaints, I will update if and when this happens.

  • I think we found them by word of mouth but they are wonderful. Our experience has been excellent. The personal relationship we have with the people there really stands out. They don't accept new patients everyday. It is tough to get in.

  • Dr. Black has been my husband's doctor and performing biopsies for his Barrett's Esophagus for at least 10 years now.  Until 2009 these biopsies were performed annually, but due to the good results of low dysplasia for 7 years, an every other year schedule was recommended by Dr. Black.  We are now awaiting the results of the 11/3/11 biopsy.  We have a high regard for Dr. Black.  We have no problems communicating with him or understanding his recommendations.  He listens to our concerns and doesn't brush us off or act like he's too busy to deal with our questions.  He always calls us personally with the results of the biopsies.

  • We have never been so rudely treated by a physician. Dr. Smith was totally unprofessional in every way possible. She made it clear that she did not think we had an emerency and should not have bothered her with our concerns. She did not stop talking to us long enough to hear any of our concerns. It is difficult for a physician to diagnose a health concern when the only person in the room speaking is the Dr. Without a doubt, the rudest most unprofessional physician I have ever encountered.

  • Her Epiglottis does not function at all. She cannot swallow without the saliva going into her lungs. She has a tracheostomy and is being fed through a feeding tube inserted in her abdomen, into her stomach. All she can do is lie in bed and cough, with the need to be suctioned through her tracheostomy, to remove the fluids, countless times a day. The other Doctors on her case say there is nothing to be done for her except wait and see if the swallowing reflex comes back on it's own. They say that it could take Months, even a year, for it to work again. She has not had even a sip of water, or anything to eat since 11-11-10. Dr. Fryburg was her surgeon. He had to have done something wrong to cause this problem. Her Epiglottis worked for 73 years, up until Dr. Fryburg operated on her.

  • We've been very happy with him. We visit once or twice a year. He discovered a certain problem I had which enabled me to go to surgery to have that resolved. His office is always neat and orderly. And his staff is so helpful and friendly. He also has tremendous bedside manner.

  • This doctor really talks to you and listens to what you have to say. He makes me feel comfortable. I have confidence in him and my husband goes there as well. He is moving to a new office in January, but we are following him.
