AGreg Spivey RemodelingWork began in early December 2019 and was substantially complete in May 2020. The punch list items were completed in July. We added on two new rooms - a guestroom/office in the basement and a Three-Season Room above it. We also had Spivey remodel the staircase and replace the fireplace trim – bringing a much-needed update to our home. (Our carpet & golden-oak staircase was replaced with dark-stained oak planks and painted white risers.) We love our two new living spaces and still stop to admire our beautiful staircase and fireplace. Joe Bailey’s designs were gorgeous, and we’re so glad we listened to his suggestions! The new rooms are well-constructed and attractively finished, and Tim Huber’s attention to detail was outstanding! The 3-season room is our new favorite room! We started eating dinner out there every night once it was complete, and it’s our go-to room for reading and relaxing. Because of the blocking Spivey put in the ceiling during construction, we can enjoy our hanging egg chairs without worrying about them crashing down. (Our cat also loves all the windows!) The new basement room was intended to be a guest bedroom, but my husband began using it as a home office (due to COVID) before the electrical work was even completed. Joe’s idea for a large daylight window in the basement made it a much more pleasant room to work in than any of our daylight-starved rooms in the existing basement! With a murphy bed, the new basement room still functions as a guestroom when needed. Tim H. is an incredibly talented carpenter, and we were so fortunate to have him on our project. Our walls aren’t plumb & square, and he carefully measured and cut to ensure the new stairs would fit. He coordinated his staircase work to ensure it would mesh well with the wainscoting we were installing ourselves in the stairway. He also went above & beyond to install the basement ceiling as high as possible so our murphy bed would fit. Tim H and Paul also let me know how many boards would be needed for the 3-season room ceiling, so I could paint them BEFORE they were installed in the peak. (I still had to touch up nail holes etc. but that was much better than having to paint all of it afterwards!) Everyone I worked with at Spivey (Joe, Tim H, Paul, Tim S) was polite and professional. It was a talented team, and I greatly appreciated their willingness to work with us to ensure we got the finished product we wanted. There were bumps in the project, but Tim S was committed to doing whatever was necessary to correct problems and ensure we were satisfied. I’d be happy to work with them again. ALifestyle Group Residential RemodelingA great experience! We have used this group on 4 different projects to remodel two bathrooms and to build a year-round mostly window sunroom and a side porch. In addition- this team was able to do a repair on a dormer of our home that 4 other companies were unable to fix- preventing additional water damage (even though repairs are not normally in their scope of work). The crew was amazing and the communication of how the work was progressing was excellent. We would HIGHLY recommend using this company to design, execute and polish any home remodeling or building project. They were flexible in the work plan- allowing us to save some money by us pre-staining the wood for our cathedral ceiling. They were creative in helping us to find solutions so that we had the exact outcome we pictured and desired. Very hard working crew, friendly and polite. Cleaned up the work area as well. AAll Phase Group IncAll Phase had done the interior of my home in 2016, remodeling kitchen and bath. I was so happy with all that had been done, I started saving to have my front porch screened in. I had been to Dave and Kathy's porch and knew they were the ones I needed to make it beautiful. It is perfect! Dave knew what was exactly right for my 1930's home; it looks like it should have always been this way. They took videos, so if any screens were damaged, I would know how to repair them. As always, Dave, Kathy and their team were wonderful to work with. They even remembered my cats.- Kathy C.

ARick's RoofingRick's Roofing does fantastic work. They did two projects for me. Replace wood over the garage and house entrance. Completely change our back porch from screen in to enclosed. Flooring for the back porch unbelievable superior workmanship. My wife and I are totally pleased with the craftsmanship that was done. Rick does follow-up after his workers leave to make sure everything is perfect. We are raving Fans ! His help are total craftsman. Nothing could have been done better. Excellent. Covid delayed availability of materials naturally but they kept in touch with me every step of the way so I knew what was going on and they worked in very cold weather to get it done. AConstruction Services of IndianapolisMagnificent!!! Freddy and Paul were respondent to all of my concerns immediately to design changes and alterations. The clean-up was immaculate. All remodeling was completed timely and on schedule. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful, and I’m picky. They throughly remodeled my kitchen, master bath and basement They made a four seasons sunroom/office out of my back porch. The best thing I can say about Construction Services of Indpls and John Whitmoyer , the owner, is John provided one stop shopping for my entire house including every detail. AArellanos did an amazing job ripping out our first floor carpet and laying engineered hardwoods, replacing trim, and painting. It looks beautiful and they did an excellent job using no transition strips to have the whole first floor flooring look seamless! They also put up a bead board panel underneath our breakfast bar that looks awesome. The painting looks beautiful and they did a great job with adding a laundry room sink. Highly recommend! Reasonably priced and excellent quality!

ALuis did a wonderful job for us on very short notice. Water damage was found during a home inspection caused by a poor tile job on a master walk-in shower. Luis managed to squeeze in the work and get it done prior to a closing deadline. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and paid attention to all the little details that lead to a job well done. We would definitely go to 123 Steps first for any future work like this. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with how quickly the windows were put in by Tommy and Greg and how they also were very professional and courteous. Tommy tooK time to make sure I knew how to operate the new windows. Neil came back and did a walk through and provided The most exciting News: my encasement windows Could be cleaned from inside the house and he personally cleaned a couple to show how easily it can de done!!!😊 I definitely would recommend Mr Neil Masten and company plus Barrier Windows . ACMH Builders, Inc. did an excellent job finishing my basement! From start to completion of the project, they were professional, responsive, prompt and caring. Every person from CMH/their partner companies, was friendly, on-time and took great pride in their work. It gave me a great deal of confidence knowing the people entering my home each day were true "professionals" in every sense of the word. I also had the opportunity to interact with the owner of the company quite a bit during the project. It's clear to see that he deeply values customer feedback and holds his team to high standards. The communication from him and his team was top-notch throughout the entire basement remodel. I was as involved, or has hands-off, as I wanted to be with every step of the way - but I always knew what was going on each week/day. AThe project went very well, and our teens now have the best bathroom in the house. We went from a pink tiled bath with an old, single sink vanity (pink, also), pink tub and pink toilet to an updated bath with a separate toilet / bath area, plenty of built in storage, and two sink areas. Tom has done many projects for us and all have been above expectations. Tom is great about making sure the details are done right. I had specific ideas about what I wanted in this bath project, and they were executed flawlessly.
