    Superior Chimney Services Corporation
The work was done very efficiently and the workers were very professional. Our complaint is with the quality of the masonry within the cap. The work was done less than two years ago and as of this week they estimated $350 to repair the crumbling. Our bill of over $2500 reflects preservatives that were applied. It was very disappointing. We thought we had hired the best.

It went well. Good interaction with provider. Some joint decisions made during job performance. Communications were difficult, as I was traveling for work during this time and it would have been more effective if I had been present to discuss details.

Silver Hammer Home Services/Robert - This guy is terrible. Says he's been in business for twenty years but doesn't perform or bring the quality you expect from someone in business for twenty years. When contractor want more money he start to threaten us with a lien on our property.

    Barry Cargill Masonry
Prior to the sale of our home, we needed to have some minor tuck pointing done on the exterior brickwork of our chimney. When I called, Barry requested photos of the chimney so he could provide an estimate. I texted him several photos, he provided an estimate by text message, we approved it, and he set up an appointment right then to do the work a few days later. He arrived on time and completed the work quickly and professionally. He also inspected the rest of the brickwork to be sure all the mortar was in good condition. I was very happy that he agreed to take a small job. There are many contractors who won't do that.

    R&U Landscaping
Isaias Rosalez and his crew did high quality work to complete the project. They even did a bit more work beyond the scope of work he committed to do, and without asking for an additional fee. They were professional, courteous and a joy to have on our property.

It could not have gone better. The phone was answered when I called and the appointment was set immediately. They arrived at the correct time and were fast and professional in performing the work. The price was great because it was a small job and yet I felt like I was important. Great service and personality.

It went GREAT, from the time of estimate and selection of materials the whole process went very smoothly.....almost the entire time the owner, Tom, was working with his very professional crew...when the hardscape work was done they then completed the landscape work surrounding the entire walkway....It looks beautiful, we could not be more pleased with the entire job!!!

    A-1 Safety Chimney Service, Inc.
This is actually an update of my previous review.  I unsuccessfully tried to remove the first review.
After cleaning and inspecting our chimneys, A1 said that we needed a new liner, quite a bit of
masonry work, and chimney caps.  I got another estimate from another company, and they said
that we needed quite a bit of masonry work, chimney caps, but the liner was fine.  At that point I
got on Angie's List and gave A1 a negative review, thinking that they were scamming us about
    the liner.
So I then had the second company come out and do the work.  But then when we got the bill,
they left a comment recommending that we get a new liner!  So A1 was correct in telling us we
needed a new liner.  I felt horrible about giving them a negative review and asked Angie's
List to remove it, but that didn't happen.  So this is my updated review.

    FCA Flooring Specialists
FCA Interior Designers, Justine Domke and Anne Kaye-Jewett, visited our Condo to provide some design ideas for a fireplace enclosure that we were considering for our living room.  On our own we were originally going to go with a custom wood fireplace cabinet to hold the Dimplex electric firebox that we were about to purchase.  Anne and Justine provided an excellent design alternative for a natural ledger stone, floor to ceiling enclosure, built against a wall that is the focal point of our living area as we view our wooded/river outdoor scenery.  Working with Justine, we selected the ledger stone to match our FCA installed Mirage Maple Engineered Hardwood flooring (which Anne also coordinated all of it with our FCA purchased furniture and area rugs).  Together we also designed a unique, one of a kind, to the ceiling hidden storage area behind the ledger stone enclosure that otherwise would have been unused, and in a Condo every space is valuable.  David Hargis, the FCA Project Coordinator, visited our Condo on a number of occasions to review the worksite and get ready for the installer, Eric.  Since we have both concrete ceiling and floor that have both heating coils and post-tension cabling, Eric installed the framing for the enclosure without drilling or fastening into either the floor or ceiling. The installation went smoothly and the result is beautiful and adds a touch of the outside into our living room, in addition to providing supplemental heat.  The design and installation is unique to our Condo building and will provide many hours of relaxed reading in front of the fireplace.  It was a pleasure working with FCA on this project.  We are happy with the results and it was a good price for the service and high quality of the finished product.

Paul was amazing.  He came over within 45 minutes of our call and had himself and crew here the very next morning.  They got the whole job done in record time, cleaned up after their work and were so helpful.  We had originally scheduled with another company, but after 3 days of no-shows, we gave up.  We had the TV crew coming so we were now in a real time crunch.  Paul understood our issue, made a point of getting to us right away.  He really delivered on his promise and the repairs aren't even noticeable.
