    MASTERCRAFT MARBLE AND GRANITE
I contacted Mastercraft Marble & Granite to get an estimate for adjusting the width of my marble counter top to fit a new stove. Ken Kass, the owner, came out and clearly had a deep knowledge of the subject. But what really impressed me was after spending over 45 minutes patiently answering all my questions and reviewing options, he gave me the advice he'd follow himself: buy the stove and see if it fits before I do any work. He said there was a good chance it would fit, since the actual width is often a bit less than the listed spec. Talk about integrity and a craftsman you can put your trust in! And he didn't even charge me for the visit. Ken really puts the customer first and is definitely someone I plan to contact for future projects.

    Neighborhood Remodelers
It was great. From day one to the end. They are very professional, organized, proficient and friendly. They were on time every day, clearly communicated every step with me, kept me updated weekly. I highly recommend Neighborhood Remodelers and will use them again for future projects.

    Royal Touch LLC
Man showed up as scheduled. I listed all the things I need to have done. I explained that i wanted to have the gutter installed as the first item from my list, because the area between the house and garage floods everytime it rains. I also have all the parts needed for the gutter and downspout. He said he would work up an estimate on my entire list and get back to me. It has been 11 days now, and no response. I will be calling someone else.

    MG Door Installations LLC
I called Mark, as he had done work for us before, so I had his phone number. He just happened to be close by and after his appointment stopped to look at my door. He studied the situation and told me his work plan. Mark removed the door, planed the door, fixed some improperly installed hardware and the door functioned (opened/closed) without any sticking or scraping as it should, outstanding!

    Kimco Home Construction
To be fair, my wife and I are new home owners so haven't had much contractor experience. Kimco was our first, coming as a referral from our realtor. Don seemed like a smart guy, and his estimate was half the others we received. Please keep in mind that all offers we solicited did not include materials--just labor (we ultimately bought all the materials, so the cost reflected in this review is just labor). Don's ability to articulate on the details/procedures of the job built our confidence in the estimate he gave us, although we wish he would have written more of the details down at first and helped navigate the materials selection process more. Don used a couple sub-contractors, but for the majority of the work, he just used one. The end result came in at almost twice the timeline in the estimate, which was only a problem for us because my wife was about to go into labor any day. Part of the extended timeline was due to his sub-contractor having an illness that lasted a few days, part was due to working a few half days instead of full days (understandably, some was because mortar needed to dry, etc.), part was due to the attention to detail our project required (this was discussed up-front, but I don't think it was fully accounted for in the estimate), and part was because we selected materials that were harder than average to work with. Again, this is where some consultation up front would have helped. The end result is what most people would consider a fantastic looking bathroom. I am a very picky person though, so of course found a few things here and there that I would have liked to have seen done better, like clear glass tile put on top of combed mortar when the instructions said that the mortar should have been smoothed first to avoid a wavy look behind it (they fixed 85% of this later, but some evidence remained), but when I look back down at the bottom-line, we still got an excellent deal for the cost. Work quality aside, Don and Mike (his primary sub-contractor for tile/bathroom work) are great guys. Great to talk to, fun to work with, and very knowledgeable. We haven't decided yet whether we'll have them back to do our guest bathroom, but they're still on our list.

    Master Handymen
I've used Master Handymen for many years. Most of the time it was for smaller projects, like electrical, and fixing things around the house. I recently used them to remodel my bathroom, and repair/replace a bunch of stuff in anticipation of selling my house. The repairs and remodel were extensive enough to take a few days to complete. Gino sent over a written quote and contract, detailing all the work to be done. He worked with my schedule to find the dates. The workers arrived on time. They put down plastic everywhere to contain the dust and dirt, even on the stairs. The bathroom remodel involved moving and replacing plumbing, putting up drywall, and installing a very large vanity and mirror. They finished off a room in my basement with drywall, and replaced a few large sections in another room of my basement because of damage and removal due to foundation crack repairs. They installed all new baseboards, and primed all the new drywall. They also upgraded many of my light fixtures and outlets to bring them up to code, repaired a kitchen cabinet, and replaced my range hood and kitchen faucet. The guys were all friendly, and they worked hard, only taking a break for lunch. When they left, the house was cleaner than it was when they got there. The price was very reasonable, and well worth it. I would recommend Master Handymen for any project, large or small!

    Masters Kitchen and Bath
We could not have selected a more professional and top quality company than Masters Kitchen and Bath. We started our remodel by having several independent contractors give us quotes on our total remodel. Each contractor told us to pick out what we wanted and gave us several locations to see different cabinet and styles, backsplashes, countertops. We spent several Saturdays doing just that. Then came the actual design of the kitchen. We did not know what was possible and what maximized our kitchen space. We saw so many products that we could not decide what to do. We decided to see what the cost would be to have a professional company come in and design our kitchen for us. Marc came to our home and took pictures of our kitchen. We met with him later and he had designed our entire kitchen layout. We were able to discuss changes and keep within our budget. From his store, we were able to pick out our cabinets, flooring, countertop, cabinet handles, sink and backsplash all in one day. With his program we could actually see what our entire kitchen would look like. He gave us ideas and helped us with every detail. He is a pleasure to work with. The quality of work on this kitchen is extremely professional. Every detail was taken into consideration. The work was done on time. We could not be happier with this company. We were able to get a beautiful kitchen with professional workmanship and still stay within our budget. We will be going back to Masters to have our bathrooms remodeled. If you are considering doing a remodel, you need to visit Masters and see what they can do for you. It will be worth your time to have it done right.

    Kitchen Village
The design staff was very professional and knew how to move the process forward and work with the client so they selected the kitchen they wanted. Considerable time was spent honing the layout and selecting finishes and materials to be used. Construction crews were very professional and skilled. The only issue encountered during the process was that there was some times that crews spent limited time on the job which in turn slowed down the project at times. The kitchen turned out very nice and changed the character of the entire house. I would use this company again and highly recommend Carol for her practical design ideas and professional approach..

Amruss Inc & Isabela Skalna Inc
He was courteous, professional, helpful, and competent. Had a little bit of a challenge finding an opening, but looking a couple weeks into the future resolved that. Not a bad sign if they're busy! His drywall skills were solid.
