The initial surgery seemed to go well but signs of infection soon emerged as well as a large hematoma on the right hip. Dr. Chang insisted it was not infected, but after PT threatened to send me to the ER, his PA agreed it was infected. Dr. Chang insisted infection was only superficial, even when it failed to get better after 34 days of oral antibiotics, and refused to consult with any other doctor, even though I asked him to. I finally sought a second opinion on my own and was admitted to the hospital. It took 3 additional surgeries and 25 days in the hospital to correct Dr. Change's failure to treat properly. I was in a wheel chair for 7 months and my right leg is still sensitive and knee doesn't fully bend. Dr. Chang was friendly, but incompetently refused to believe one of his patients could have a serious infection.

I could not be happier with my medical care from Northwestern. It is a world class facility with world class doctors and staff. The Northwestern Executive Health program makes it a level above any other alternative in Chicago

Dr. Oswald took the time to listen to my history as a new patient. (I'm sure I won't take up nearly as much of her time in the future.) Scheduling the appointment was easy and she had open appointments available within a week. I'm glad I found her.

Great! He was very cautious. I started rehab right away and a few times a week for almost 5 months! He didn't want me to touch a tennis racquet for over 6 months and then only limited. I took a full year to recover and another year to ramp up my activity but I feel it will pay off in the long run.

Two check in areas a little time consuming. Doctor Jurlesick had wonderful bedside manner. Gave me good tips. Provided an ultrasound as part of exam. He advised it would be covered but I ended up gettin a bill.

Superb.  I have been with him for ten years.  He's multi degreed.  Very knowledgeable.  I wouldn't be going to him if I didn't have faith in him.  I feel very comfortable with him as a doctor.  Very respectful of him.  He takes the time to care for his patients properly.  About a 15 minute wait usually to see him.  I have no qualms with him.  Fantastic doctor.  I highly recommend him.  Nurses and other staff are very friendly.  I'm very comfortable going.

It's a group of seven or eight physicians. I like them, they do a good job. I never use anyone else. The place is really clean, and neat. The ladies on the computers who do the scheduling are very serious. It's the only thing I don't really like, but that's okay, I understand. The place is really clean. The doctor's are really friendly. Sometimes you have to wait like twenty minutes, but I think that's probably normal in all clinics.

I was able to reach Dr. Sika by phone, and she agreed to see me outside her regular office hours. I was surprised to learn I had a fast spreading staph infection. The doctor sent me for some tests at a nearby hospital and prescribed antibiotics. It was fortunate I saw her before things got really bad. I've seen Dr. Sika on several occasions, and she has always been professional and very courteous. She spends a lot of time discussing my health and treatment of any ailments. If a doctor can be fun to talk to, she manages to fit that category with her friendly demeanor. I highly recommend her and her partner at the office.

Her office atmosphere is calm and quiet. The wait time is really very short. They always seem able to get me in when I need them. I feel comfortable with her and her staff. They've always been very kind. The doctor listens. I just feel very comfortable now. I like them a lot. I'll absolutely use her again.

We have had to use the ER at CDH twice within two years. Both times we were able to get into a room immediately and seen by a doctor within a few minutes. For the more recent visit, we went to a closer hospital initially who said we would have to wait at least 3 hours to see a doctor and receive treatment. We then drove to CDH and were seen immediately. The bedside manner didn't receive an A because the doctor was cracking jokes, and I would have preferred a more professional attitude. Also, he was being seen for a relatively rare condition. The doctor had seen and treated it once before, but most of the nurses and medical assistants had not seen this condition before. So they were in and out of the room, not helping but just to see what was going on. At one point the little ER room was full of people plus a crowd of people peering in the door, but only the doctor and one nurse were actually treating him. The treatment was effective, which is the most important, but again i think it was a little unprofessional for all those people to be in the room. Overall, i would recommend this hospital and would go back in an emergency situation.
