ABudget Right HandymanDuane N has come out a few times to fix various jobs in our house, from plumbing related to drywall and paint issues. He's done an excellent job each time, oftentimes going above and beyond by sharing his knowledge about various things around the house as an added bonus. He's friendly and professional and was ahead of the Covid precautions even before it started to become a thing with businesses. I can't recommend him more and I'm glad we finally found someone to count on for odd job repairs (he also does larger jobs based on our conversations). Budget Right has got themselves a brand builder as Duane's work certainly reflects well on the company. Pricing is in line with value, which is all you can ask for, as Duane will get it right the first time.- Matthew J.

AAccurate Painting & RemodelingPete Simon and his crew of 3 did an excellent job! They put in a hard two days of work, patching and sanding all the nail holes and plaster cracks, painting all the walls with the colors of my choice, repainting my radiators, and re-staining the weather damaged hardwood window frames and sills in my Craftsman-style home. They showed an incredible amount of care, protecting all surfaces with drop cloths and high quality tape. They even fixed a few painting errors caused by prior painters. When work was completed, the team did thorough job of cleaning up any plaster dust and removing empty boxes/trash. Pete and the crew wore their personal protective equipment (PPE masks and gloves) the entire time they were in the house. I highly recommend Pete Simon and his crew for any painting needs you have!- Adam B.

Kitchen - painted cabinets, added cabinet pulls, added 2 new cabinets, closed up soffet, new sink, disposal & faucet, all new appliances, installed new hard wood floor, updated electrical outlets (USB), quartz countertops & quartz back splash. Bathroom - gutted down to the studs, removed tub, brand new tiled shower, tiled shower walls, faucets, new vanity, toilet, new mirror and more! Beautifully refinished hardwood floors in living room & dining room, to match the new kitchen floor. Painted living room, dining room and back entry way. AHandy Men & Mrs Helper Kitchen & BathMy wife and I recently moved into a home that was built in the 1980s...and the basement still reflected that style. It was time for an update and calling Handy Men & Mrs. Helper was a great decision. They were able to transform the antiquated 80's paneling into a modern, functional space, helped move a light fixture while patching a ceiling that had water damage, and even fixed a leaking toilet that we were unaware of. From first contact to completion, communication was abundant, their employees were always punctual and professional, and not only did they do an excellent job of remolding/painting...but they were efficient too. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking to do cosmetic/functional work in their home. There is still some more work to do and when it's time, there's no doubt I will be calling Handy Men & Mrs. Helper.- Eric J.

I quoted this project out with multiple different companies and the price offered was competitive, but they were able to get the job scheduled and completed over a week before any of the competition could. APhil promptly contacted me after my submission to Angie's list and came over to look at the project and submitted a bid that I thought was very fair. He brought in a crew so that everything was completed over the course of 3 days to minimize disruption. The project would have taken much longer with one or two painters. The crew was great -- friendly, professional and conscientious with their cleanup everyday. I added a couple of things in the process and my invoice was less than the original bid. I'm very happy with how the project went and I'm sure I will use Phil and his crew again. It's just nice to do business with nice people.

He was quick to give an in person quote, paint matched my current color to perfection, came in the day before and touched up multiple areas that were damaged, and left me and my current tenants thrilled with the outcome.
