Great! He was very cautious. I started rehab right away and a few times a week for almost 5 months! He didn't want me to touch a tennis racquet for over 6 months and then only limited. I took a full year to recover and another year to ramp up my activity but I feel it will pay off in the long run.

Dr. Backstrom was recommended to me by a friend four years ago who is a chiropractic doctor, but does not accept our insurance. My entire family are patients & we are all very pleased with the treatment we have received at this clinic.

I got in right away and Summer, the owner, took me to the therapy room and asked questions about my pain and what was going on in my neck and back. She would touch one spot on my neck and shoulders I could feel it throughout my entire back! She was very attentive and asked me a lot of questions as the 90 minute session continued. I've never had a Traditional Chinese Massage so I wasn't sure what to expect. The stretching exercises she did felt amazing - and she explained what she was doing and how my back and shoulders and neck were all interrelated and why the stretching works. This is definitely Summer's area of specialty and I am definitely going back. If you've never had a CTM before, I highly recommend Summer and her staff at the Chinese Traditional Massages! You will not be disappointed! My back, neck and shoulders have never felt such relief from pain after a massage!

John is a consummate reflexologist.  You will sit in a zero-gravity reclined position with feet raised - so comfortable.  As he begins to work on  your feet you will sink into a deep relaxed state.  Those familiar with their own energy patterns will feel the clearing and moving of energy along the meridians.  But you don't have to know anything about energy - just understand that this ancient practice of manipulating spots on the feet that correspond to various areas and organs of your body is a proven therapy that will provide immediate and lasting positive results on the body, mind and spirit.  John has a very strong yet comforting touch, he is truly expert, and I highly recommend him.  BTW I listed a date for one appointment because the website made me, but I've had several over the past couple of years.

I needed physical therapy to get my shoulder moving again after rotator cuff repair surgery. I had never had physical therapy before so I didn't know what to expect, however my friends had given me many horror stories about their physical therapy. I highly recommend ATI on Gunderson Ave., in Carol Stream. My experience with my physical therapist, Samantha Pickert, has been excellent. She is knowledgable and encouraging--and she gives a superb neck and upper back massage to loosen tight muscles! She even accompanied me to my doctor's appointment (on her day OFF!) so she could talk to him about how to best help me! I am VERY impressed with "Sam" and with all of the other physical therapists that I have observed  at ATI in Carol Stream. No horror stories about physical therapy there!

Last year, I was referred to Dr. Reese from a friend of mine after injuring myself while working out. Dr. Reese was able to accommodate my crazy schedule at that time and followed up with me to ensure I was doing okay the next day. Her entire team is amazing! They are thorough, thoughtful and very patient. After just the first visit I noticed a significant improvement and within a couple of weeks the pain was completely gone and I was able to my neck again. As another person stated, I am a mom and she their office is very flexible with allowing me to bring my daughter for my visits where she is able to hang out in their kiddie room where you can find books, puzzles and movies.

Recently, I had surgery which ended up causing me back and neck pain. Dr. Reese has been treating me for the pain as I recover. In addition, she is helping me with the healing process from my surgery by providing infrared therapy.

Dr. Reese provides acupuncture, orthotics (which has helped reduce back and knee pain), weight loss programs, massage therapy, this is the place to go. My daughter and I love Dr. Reese and her team!

Here are the top 10 things we learned in the 18 days our son was in Chesterbrook's Pre-K program.

    1. Chesterbrook does not foster a spirit of inclusion (ask about the numbers by the play areas).
    2. They promote neither a love of learning nor social growth.
    3. Their teachers do not have the knowledge base or resources to ease your child into their transition to the school.
    4. They do not offer a safe, healthy environment.
    5. They do not engage with the children or parents.
    6. Many of the teachers are unprofessional, dismissive and don't have any desire to collaborate with parents and ensure your child is in an environment where they can feel comfortable and where their minds and spirits will flourish (with the exception of Ms. Ann).
    7. They do NOT ALLOW direct communication with the teachers your child interacts with daily. Instead they insist on filtering info through a non-responsive principal.
    8. They have a gossipy staff who swear in front of parents, are disorganized, and don't understand how their billing system works.
    9. When your child's behavior drastically changes over the 18 days he was there and he cries every night about going back to school where the kids are allowed to push around and exclude other children, teachers tell him to play by himself and don't believe him when he uses his words, you pull the plug on bad child care. Then you watch him sleep better than he has in almost 3 weeks after being told he didn't have to go back.
    10. There are many other schools in this the Wheaton area that are welcoming, nurturing, concerned for the welfare of every child, and employ excellent teachers who will embrace your child, and help them make more progress in a week than he had in the last month. And you place your little boy there you see him get back to himself after just a few days at that school and you know you're in the right place. And that's not Chesterbrook.

I contacted the office, and the person was not available immediately, so I waited a couple of days. The large open chiropractic office has the massage room, and the therapistwas of high quality, but she was a bit talkative. I needed to say, "I prefer just to relax, and when I'm talking, that doesn't happen." After that, things went fine. An offer was extended for a second, half-price massage, and I scheduled it for five weeks hence, but was a bit surprised that I had to pay in advance that day. The therapist used no extras like hot towels, scented oil or stones. Just the basics, with soft music, FYI

It's an inpatient and outpatient facility and I go there as an outpatient. The people are very fantastic, they're very nice. i really enjoy them. They pick you up for $5 and then drive you back for $5.

It went good, therapist was nice. Never having been to one of these places I did not realize it was a chain. I would probably go again, this time I would be prepared for the and quot;selland quot; on joining...
