So far, it has not gone well and I would not recommend this company to anyone. This company has a snazzy website but does not deliver. Other companies for other products that I have contacted in my new home town have contacted me ASAP and have really impressed me. Not this one. What's up?

There are many issues with the siding they installed on my home. It is falling off the house in places and was not installed properly. They have not fixed the problem. I tried the Illinois Attorney General and the BBB to settle this, and they did not settle. I finally hired a lawyer for small claims. They settled with my lawyer in writing and then stopped payment on the check. I am still in the process of dealing with small claims court. They have filed all kinds of motions and still have not fixed the problem. They are no professional and do not stand behind their work. They also do not honor their own warranty. The pictures below are only a portion of the ones I have of their work.

I have had Kitchen and Bath Specialties do several things to my house including a skylight an oval window above my bed and a specialty window in a bathroom, so I hired them again to do a new backsplash around my kitchen and lighting. As usual the work was done promptly and professionally. The backsplash tile is beautiful and was flawlessly installed. Joe also installed multi colored under cabinet lighting which gives it a nice accent. He always comes up with great ideas on how to accomplish and perfect the task. I highly recommend him and his team.

After completing a larger remodeling job for me several months ago, Joe and his assistants returned to fix a couple of other small problems in my kitchen and bathroom. They did the work quickly and efficiently, at a very fair price. I definitely would hire them again and recommend their service highly.

Joe and his crew (2 others) were timely, thorough, and respectful of their work environment. Prior to the job, Joe offered insight as we ordered the countertops and what to expect. Through the whole process of ordering and waiting for the countertops to arrive, Joe maintained contact and was a great communicator. They brought blankets for the floor to minimize their tracks and debris. Countertops/backsplash removal and installation were completed in ~4 hours. They gladly took the old countertop, wooden A frame from delivery, and sink so we did not have to worry about disposal. After the job was complete, he did a complete walk through and ensured customer satisfaction was of utmost importance. I trust him and his team's professionalism and appreciate their attention to detail. I will definitely consider them for future kitchen/bath jobs.

With their help measuring before ordering with Menard's, the quartz countertop fit perfectly and they did a quality install. They showed up when they said they would, were very efficient, detail focused, and friendly. These guys will be my first call for future projects.

The entire process took about 6 weeks, with a few delays and some minor errors and misunderstandings. However, on the whole I am quite pleased with Joe's work and definitely would recommend him. He is highly skilled, patient, good-natured, and conscientious. Whatever snags may develop, he is committed to resolve them to the client's eventual satisfaction. This process was a learning experience for me because I never had employed a contractor for any major project before. The few issues over which I did experience some frustration were as much my own fault as Joe's, because I was too eager to start the work before we had clarified and written out all of the finer points of our contract in sufficient detail. If you want to just leap in as I did with little more than a handshake, Joe is probably the best guy you could find to treat you fairly, but still you would be wise to plan things out and specify all expectations and obligations more thoroughly than I did in this case. Bottom line: I DO recommend Joe highly and probably will engage his services again myself. His assistants are also good, friendly, courteous and skillful guys. Thank you Joe, Sean, and Jason!

When they FINALLY started working, after a few days of being told they would be at our house and never showing, they finished and did a really nice job. Adjustments needed to be made to both shower doors. It took several weeks to get them back into our house to make the adjustments. Then the base of one of showers cracked in a few places. Again, it took several weeks and text messages to get Shawn to return and fill in part of the cracks. He promised to return to finish the job and has not. That was in March. I'm beyond disappointed with this family owned business.

Joe is a real stand-up guy. He was honest, on-time, and answered all of my questions. He also took on a job and did it in a way that no one else in the area was willing to do. We had a newer shower base and doors that were leaking very badly, but we did not want to rip out the expensive, existing tile. We only wanted to take out the bottom row of tile, replace the shower base, the doors, and fix whatever was leaking. Joe had no issue with the plan, and he spent a lot of time emailing me back and forth looking at different shower bases from Menards to make sure I got one that fit in the existing space and my budget. Here's where the honesty comes into play - A few months later something on the shower needed to be adjusted. Joe answered my email within an hour and worked us into his schedule again. That's not something just any contractor would do. We've all heard the horror stories. The leak in the beginning was pretty bad and was going into the closet behind the shower. This was a pretty scary situation upfront and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome in the end. The end result also looks very GOOD. It doesn't look like a patch job. The tile repair work is EXCELLENT.

Jason has done multiple jobs for us over the years.  He is the kind of person you can trust, and very helpful.  He did a beautiful job on installing out kitchen in an older home where the walls and floors are uneven, he made it look perfect.  I would highly recommend having JME construction help you with any remodeling needs you might have.  Very grateful for all he has helped us with!
