Steve is a Superstar! He is courteous, educated, experienced and did an amazing job! He has a wealth of connections and was able to assist me with locating a fantastic Electrician, Mark Hofer. Before & after photos attached. VERY PLEASED, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Called Freddie on Friday 6/22/18. He promised to call back on Monday, 6/25/18, to setup an appointment. Never heard from him. I don't believe in tracking down contractors who obviously are not interested in the work.

Excellent! They do what they say and very honest. Thy followed up to make sure that everything is correct and we had service for the pump and it's always been an excellent service. I will be recommending him to my son.

Steve came out with his helper on time and ready to work. The original quote was to repair 4 cracks, but we found a fifth while moving a storage cabinet in the utility room. Due to the fact they were out doing all the rest of the work, we agreed on $200 for the additional crack. Steve was a very personable guy and his helper was very polite as well. All the work was done correctly and neatly. American Crawlspaces also gives Angi's list members additional discounts. I thought the price was very fair for all work performed. I would definitely use them again.

Our basement was only leaking along one wall but they reccommended we put the trench in along at least two of the walls.   Because of the age of the house, we opted to do the walls around the entire basement.  The original quote also included a second sump and pump but when they came in to do the work, they realized they could easily tie to an existing one we had for the bathroom - so we actually came in under the quote!  They said it would take two days - AND IT REALLY DID!
They came in with a 6 person crew and used jackhammers (loud!) to trough the floor.  The workers carried out and disposed of all of the concrete that came up.  Then put in the drain tile and mixed and poured the concrete.  Because the weather was pretty bad at the time, they ended up mixing the concrete in the basement.  This left a lot of concrete dust.  They did clean some of this up but definitely plan to perform more clean-up after they leave. Our basement was under construction anyway so it didn't matter that much to us.
When they did the work, we had sheet linoleum on the floor and we planned to cover it with a floating floor so we didn't pull up the tile.  We later decided to pull up it up and replace with vinyl plank flooring. We found the transition places between the old and new concrete to be a little rough and it made it difficult to place the planks.  I would suggest that if you want the transition to be perfect, you may want to ensure they know this.
After living with serious flooding for years and having a basement we could not use, the basement has been dry since they did the work.  I can sometimes hear the water running along the drain tile and it is music to my ears.  One time I came down to find water on the floor by the sump and called them in a panic.  They planned to come out the next day but asked us to verify that the sump pump was plugged in.  It was but one of us had knocked the hose that takes condensation from the AC.  They were incredibly nice and responsive!
I had written off ever being able to use my basement in a meaningful way - I figured the house was just too old and it would always flood and smell mildewy.  Well, I now have a basement I can use and it is because of these guys.  I can't say enough good things about them and I highly reccommend them.  Their pricing was better tby miles than anyone else and they are honest and fair.

    Family Waterproofing Solutions
Ken arrived promptly for the initial estimate.  his price was fair and comparable to other estimates.  His company provides a life time warranty on the crack repair and it is transferable up to 5 years.  That is a great benefit.  He also took time to explain and educate me about why and what he was doing on the day that work was done.  I think that is a plus since there are so many businesses that want to milk their customers instead of serving them well.  Family waterproofing is a company that truly serves their customers well and  I will be using them again should the need arise.  Finally, after the work was done Ken informed me that he didn't use as much material as he thought he would and reduced the final price.  Great service, good work, honest and fair.

Workers arrived on time, worked efficiently and neatly.  Thoroughness and effectiveness of repair was proven by elimination of leaks during and after record-setting rainfall the week following the repair.

It went fine.  I waited until they were through, and they told me what to do and what to expect, which is exactly what happened.  I really don't have more to tell.  He arrived on time, worked diligently and charged me fairly.

    Perma-Seal Basement Systems
From start to finish we were thoroughly impressed and pleased with the staff, service and quality of the work.  Anxious to get to the bottom of our water problem, but not wanting to "break the bank", we first joined Angie's list. The search for a provider led us to Perma-Seal based on the reviews of previous customers.  When we mentioned Perma-Seal to neighbors and friends they all agreed that we'd made the right choice.  We were not disappointed.  When we mentioned our busy schedules and desire to do the work quickly, the consultant called into the company and got us scheduled almost immediately even though they had close to a 3-week wait list due to so much rain lately.  But they were here within 48 hours.  The person (1 person) was in and out within an hour and we had 2 new and functioning pumps.  The basement is dry. Then one week later 2 staff came out to measure and put in the new well covers. They actually worked in the rain!  We had many questions and learned more than we'd expected about mold, plumbing, electrical outlets, AC/Heating, filters, etc. Everyone who worked in our home was respectful, professional, patient and friendly.  Perma Seal will remain our provider for any services they provide for as long as we own our home.  And Angie's List is my new "find".
