Hvac Repair reviews in Streamwood

Humble Heating And Air Conditioning Inc
Owner and employee were prompt and professional. This was one of the coldest days in Chicago history. When I contacted them, even though they were very busy, they got to me in less than 3 hours. Diagnosed problems quickly, explained them to me well, and repaired at a very reasonable cost.

    RJS Heating and Cooling
We, as consumers, dont always take the time to share the good stories in our lives, and RJS has been a good one for me. On Thursday evening I returned home to find that my central air unit was not running, just before the first major hot spell of the year. Friday morning, approximately 6:30am, I called up RJS to get an estimate on a repair or potentially replace the unit. Scott answered, offered to call me back in 15 mins as he was working on something with his crew, and he actually did call back. When he called back we chatted about the situation, and he came out late afternoon same day to see me. Scott arrived, and by this point I had already decided on replacing vs repairing my unit. There was no point in a patch job on an older unit that was no longer worth it. We discussed the outside unit, an extra component within my yard that he noticed, and then we went inside to look at the furnace set up. Again, I have another aging system that I already had an emergency repair on in the middle of winter (by a competitor that gave me awful service but when its cold and you have no heat, you deal), and now Ive opted to talk replacing the furnace and the thermostat as well. All in all, Scott was reasonable, professional, and provided an in-depth presentation of the work his team was going to do and when it could be done. RJS wasnt the cheapest (buyer beware) but he also wasnt the most expensive. Out of a possible three companies by 7am on Friday morning, I signed with RJS on Friday afternoon with install scheduled for Tuesday (the day after Memorial Day). Scott could have done the A/C on Saturday but not the furnace again, reasonable. I was happy with my choice of units at that point. Tuesday morning rolls around, install day! I got a called in the morning confirming the crew would arrive by 830am, and there they were on time and ready to work. Rob and Randy were my crew for the day. Very professional, walked through to see where they were working, options for different access points in and out of the house, explained what they were planning on doing, and I got out of their way (at least I tried to). Rob was on AC duty, at first, and Randy had furnace duty. Obviously both needed help from one another throughout the install, but again I tried to peek in at what was going periodically. Scott arrived late morning to check in on them, just so happened to be when they were both working on the furnace, but it was great to see the president of the company come out and check on install in person. Guys were at it until 4:30pm on Tuesday and cleaned everything up like they were never there. Did I want to spend the money to replace all of these units, no; however, Im glad I did since both units are so quiet. If youre looking for HVAC, I highly recommend RJS. Scott, Rob, and Randy were fantastic and Im loving having AC when were already living in 90 degree temps in May. Im looking forward to calling for annual maintenance as well since I know theyll call, get it scheduled, and come out in a timely fashion to continue meeting the bar they have set for themselves.

    Lifeline Plumbing Heating & Cooling
In November 2017 I used an Angie's List Deal offered by Lifeline for what turned out to be a minor plumbing problem with my toilet. Mike explained what had happened and quickly fixed the problem. He also spent time offering me accessibility information that could be helpful for my mother, as well as some bathroom remodeling possibilities for me. I also had the furnace checked by Lifeline. I am also calling them for an AC check up. Both service providers were friendly, professional and thorough.

ABC Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electric
They're a 5 star in my book for pretty much everything. There was no charge because it was part of the program. I pay the yearly program. They're pretty good. I wish price was a little different, but on professionalism, they're an A.

I had them come out to clean my furnace and they told me I had a crack in the heat exchange and they told me I needed a new one. I then went through my home warranty and was told from eagle that my share was 1295.00. after numerous people coming to my house for estamites I was told basically I was being over charged but unless I went with eagle I would only get 640.00 from the warranty company. So I was told from eagle they install in my town all the time and when I went for my permit I found out they werent licensed and bonded in my town which they lied about and in order for me to get my permit eagle told me I had to pay the application fee and bond for the village. I went to the warranty company and explained they couldnt work here and to send me someone that can and the warranty company only offered me the 640.00. Eagle also told me one morning that they were merging with another credi card company and could only take cash. Hmmm so I said I would wait till the merge was done. Later that day they told me that got it fixed for me so I could use a CC. Anyways I ended up using another company and got a new heater and a/c and I have peace of mind that it was done right and without ripping me off. As soon as my warranty is up Im also getting rid of my warranty company American home shield. That is a total rip off. So 85.00 for a furnace that wasnt cleaned and 125.00 deductible for a warranty company for eagle to come back out to tell me I had a crack that I already New about because they came out for a cleaning that they didnt do because I had a crack. As for his receptionist Angie it doesnt matter what the question is she doesnt have an answer for you unless she talks to Tony. Oh and the best part was when the guy came to clean my furnace he asked me where is the filter in my furnace that should of been my first clue that I shouldnt work with these guys. Thats all.

They screwed me big time. Every time i try to call about it no one will return my call. I would never buy from them again or recommend them. I could have got the same unit I got from Sears for half the price. The unit is to loud for my house, they didn't do the air duct right. The ripped me off. I can't get no one to call me back. When the guys came in they did a good job. I told the guy the same day it was installed that it was to loud.

New Vista Heating & Air Conditioning
Purchased a new house and the furnace wouldn't turn on. Called Terry at New Vista. He easily figured out the thermostat was broken. Based on our inspection, it also had some design issues with the flu and gas line. They provide a great quote to fix everything and install a new thermostat. His technician Johnathan did a great job. They were clean and professional. I will use them for all my Heating & AC work.
