    Requested livery service online because of an email I received offering a $5 discount for a first time user of their service.  I received a confirmation indicating my request.  This as a livery of $50 for a trip from O'Hare Airport to my Home in Barrington.  I received a confirmation from the provider of $50.  I added a tip to the fee and paid at time of booking with my credit card.  The driver arrived to pick us up at the airport moderately on time and drove us to our home.  I received my receipt for the trip that same evening and found that I not only did not receive the $5 discount (even though I entered the discount code upon ordering), the charged me $60 for the trip and not the $50 that is shown on my confirmation.  I sent two emails with supporting data and received no response.  I don't like to be CHEATED and will never use this service again.  I urge others not to use them either.  Bad service is one thing, but bad business integrity is even worse.

    I travel several times a month for work and have used this provider for 10 or so years.  I have been having one problem after another with them lately and last week was the final straw.  I arrived at the airport and was told it would be 10 to 12 minutes for driver to arrive.  After 15 minutes I called and they said driver was at door "E" instead of agreed upon door  "D".  For the next 15 minutes I walked back and forth in the pouring rain between D & E but found no driver.  Car finally arrived after 40 minutes.  Needless to say, I was upset and expressed this to driver.  After back and forth with driver and office, the angry driver got into the car and subsequently drove 76+ miles per hour in a construction zone on 90 West in the dark and in the pouring rain. Considering this guy seemed out of control, I decided to stay quiet.  I took pictures of the dashboard and immediately called the company to discuss this issue.  I emailed them the pictures.  The person on the line told me the owner would call me to discuss the issue the next day.  It has been nearly a week and I received no phone call. 

    This company says bio says it has "24 hour emergency service".  I can't imagine how this can be because if I don't call 2 or more days in advance, they can't accommodate.  Additionally, several times I canceled service days in advance and they still charged me.  I had to go back and show them the cancellation to get a refund.  Company is really going down hill.  Not sure if there is a new owner or manager but something is not working anymore.  I would avoid at all costs.

    They are usually "ok" but every once in a while they just royally screw up. Like the two times I was scheduled for a very early morning pickup with a tight window to catch a plane, and they simply didn't show up! And, to make it worse, I had to call them to find out what was going on. Also, if you use them for pickup at O'Hare and they tell you the car will be there in 8-10 mins, you can easily just automatically add another 5-10 minutes to that. They are NEVER accurate with those pickup estimates. Overall, they are simply just "ok" and I'm looking for an alternative. One last thing, I have literally used them about 60-80 times over the last year, and there's no loyalty program or any recognition of the level of business I've given them.

    Great! I've been using A-1 Limousine since I moved to Chicago 15 years ago. They make it very easy to make and update reservations, they are always punctual, courteous and professional and the cars are always immaculate. This trip was no different. The price is such that I probably wouldn't use them if I could get a ride from a friend of family member instead, but when that's not practical they are always my first choice for airport transportation. (I also recognize that I live far away from the airport and no ride service is going to be cheap!)
    I do wish the website had had a little more information for parents traveling with small children who require car seats. I called the information line to find out how it works when you need to bring a car seat with you (they do not provide car seats themselves). A couple of tips for anyone who falls into this category: the cars that arrived for us were not equipped with LATCH connectors. Not a problem since we could use the seat belts instead, but something good to know ahead of time so you can get your car seat configured properly before they arrive. Also, the drivers are not allowed to help you install your car seat. That was fine with me (I preferred to do it myself anyway), but don't be upset with them if they don't assist.
    In all of my time using A-1 Limousine I have never had a single problem and have never come close to missing a flight. They have always been 100% reliable for me and I happily look forward to using them for my future airport transportation needs.

    Driver was early for a very early pick up, and was very nice.
    Had fun with our 2 children, and made the experience very safe and enjoyable for all.
    Both my wife and I were very comfortable throughout the ride, and would highly recommend this company.

    They were punctual, and were actually here a few minutes earlier than they were supposed to be. The driver was very helpful; he helped us put the luggage in the trunk and made sure we were all comfortable in the back by asking if it was too hot or cold and if anything needed to be adjusted. He was very polite and courteous. It was a pleasant ride.

    We signed up on Angie's List a month ago and looked for a limo company with an ''A'' rating. We picked O'Hare-Midway Limousine Service. The driver was prompt,(early), came to our front door and offered to take our bags to the limo. We have lived here for the last 15 years and have had several limo companies take us to and from the airport. This company was by far the best we have experienced. The driver knew the best way to get to the airport, was polite and courteous. We are very pleased with both O'Hare-Midway Limousine Service and Angie's List.

    FROM THE PHONE CALL TO ORDER THE PICK-UP THROUGH THE DROP AT THE AIRPORT, EVERYTHING WAS DONE IN BOTH A PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT MANNER. THE TELEPHONE RESERVATIONIST WAS VERY GOOD AND ORGANIZED. THE DRIVER ARRIVED ON TIME TO THE MINUTE, AND WAS PLEASANT AND A GOOD DRIVER. HE WAS EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. HE MADE NO COMMENT ABOUT THE LARGE HEAVY BAGS (WE WERE CARRYING COSTUMES TO A FASHION SHOW). HE LIFTED EACH BAG OUT OF THE LIMO AND CARRIED IT TO THE SKYCAP.

    I CALLED THE COMPANY TO SCHEDULE A PICK-UP OF MY COLLEGE AGE DAUGHTER FROM A FLIGHT THAT LANDED JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE PERSON WHO TOOK THE RESERVATION WAS QUITE GOOD, PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. SHE CONFIRMED THE ADDRESS IN THE RESERVATION CALL, AND AGAIN WHEN I CALLED TO SAY THAT MY DAUGHTER WAS AT BAGGAGE CLAIM AND READY FOR THE LIMO TO COME AROUND. THE DRIVER IMMEDIATELY ASKED FOR THE ADDRESS AND COMPLAINED ABOUT NEEDING THE MAP TO FIND IT. HE REFUSED AN OFFER OF DIRECTIONS AND EVEN WAS DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD STREET WHILE READING A MAP. THEN, HE SIMPLY DROPPED HER IN THE DRIVEWAY WITHOUT OFFERING ASSISTANCE TO THE DOOR WITH HER SUITCASE.
