    Cathleen's Critter Care
She's absolutely wonderful.  I give her five stars across the board.  I wouldn't leave my pets with anybody else.  I'll be using her again in October.  The price is just to come in, feed the cats, clean out the litter box and she spends a little time with them.  Of course the services she provides for dogs and walking may be totally different because I don't have them.

    Elmhurst Animal Care Center
It was a 4 o'clock appointment, I was out by 5:15. Instead of having to come back another time, they said it was a simple procedure and it would take an hour. We were sent home with antibiotics, the leg clean, and surgical wrap. The whole visit took just over an hour and was half of the cost I was anticipating. It was 25% of what I was quoted somewhere else. I would definitely recommend them. They are an hour from our house and worth the drive. We saw Dr. Todd Prince, he was great.

    BANFIELD THE PET HOSPITAL
They did not remove the cyst. They did nothing for the dog. They insisted on doing an aspiration to see what the cyst was. Then after they did the aspiration, they told us the aspiration would probably be inconclusive and show us nothing. They sent us home to wait for the results and it was $300. The dog was bleeding everywhere. They did nothing to wrap or care for it. I called them, they were supposed to call us, they did not call, so I called them. It was 6 days later before I actually spoke with the vet, who did not have a care plan or any information for the dog. They did send us home with allergy pills and spray, but they did nothing to clean up the aspiration. They gave me an estimate to remove the cyst that was between $1100 and $1300. They said they would have to send out the cyst for testing, even thought it was benign. We went elsewhere, yesterday, for a free consultation for surgery. They ended up taking off the cyst within 20 minutes at a cost of $200. Banfield completely ripped us off. I will never, ever go back there and I have 5 dogs.

    Pawsitive Image Dog Salon
It cost $50 for a haircut, bath and nails trimmed and all that. Awe, you should see how cute he comes out! We use them all the time. They do very nice job on the trimming, so he looks good. They’re very kind and he always looks good.

    VCA Noyes Animal Hospital
He is very, he;s extremely caring. And I think thats what's important to my wife. Actually, we also have a boarder calling and he was having health issue. it was about the some time frame in the last month or so. I think he's a very good veterinarian. They probably have other good veterinarians about we use Dr Lamer. He's great.

    PALATINE ANIMAL HOSPITAL
My grade is completely for our experience with Dr. Riordan. We really liked him - he was gentle with our pets, did a very thorough examination on them, and explained everything he was doing. I would absolutely see him again. HOWEVER, the office staff at this place is by far the rudest I have ever experienced! We have lived in several different cities and have gone to vet offices in each of them. The staff at this place simply needs to be replaced. We have even left the place due to their rudeness, which is really unfortunate since we loved Dr. Riordan.

    The Doghouse of Barrington
The staff lost or over administered 19 of our dog's pills that are refrigerated for Sunny's kidney condition. In addition, we brought 12 gallons of Ice Mountain bottled filtered water because of his kidney condition. When we picked him up on 4/5/2016, there were 9 remaining gallons. There should have been none left or 1 or 2 left at the most. Soon after, our dog developed gastro problems and has had to be on Hills Rx ID food. Then he was diagnosed with a urinary bladder infection. We called several times and left a message for the owner, Dylan to call us. He never called. He emailed us finally after we emailed a very angry email to him. He said he left a message-well he left a message on a phone number that is not ours. I emailed him back to tell him that The Dog House records contain not just 1 phone number, but 2 additional numbers that he never bothered to try. My husband and i boarded our Sunny there at least 4 different times. We thought they cared, but in reality they did not care about my dog who is part of our family and is loved so much. Do not go to The Dog House-BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

    The Doghouse of Barrington
Stay far, far, far away from The Doghouse of Barrington.
We dropped our Aussie Lab mix for a week of dog daycare and boarding in August.  When we dropped her off, she was in perfect health, with no problems at all.  She was excited to be there (as she had been previously) and we went on our vacation.
Upon picking her up a week later, she was carried out from the holding area by one of the staff members.  Shockingly, we were advised that she "started limping" about two days before pickup, and was not walking on her rear left leg.  They suggested giving her "baby aspirin" for a couple days.  I asked a few questions, but no one seemed to know what happened - the story I received was that "she woke up limping on Friday" (?).  Upon walking her home, she would not put any weight on the leg and winced in pain whenever she tried to use it.
To make a long story short, our dog received a compund fracture below her rear left knee that will require orthopedic canine surgery, with a cost of around $2000.00.   Since picking her up, we have contacted The Doghouse of Barrington multiple times about the incident, and received several stories.  For example, in addition to the above, we also heard that "she hurt her leg while playing", and "oh, we just noticed it before you picked her up"....  Multiple messages to the owner have gone without reply.
So, it looks like we may be off to litigation - in the meantime, Id recommend staying away from here.  They herd most of the dogs (from around 40lbs to 200lbs) in a common play area, and the dogs are supervised by young kids.  They arent trained in dog handling, they didnt call a vet (or us) when the injury happened, and generally dont seem to care.
The worst part was when our vet told us that the type of fracture our dog would have incurred would be incredibly painful - it seems that no one at The Doghouse noticed or cared...

    Barrington Animal Hospital
For both cats, appointements were easy to get and Drs. Stapleton, Duke, Kirkwood, and Ford were great to work with. Dr. Stapelton rushed our cat into surgery within 15 minutes of my call. Dr. Stapleton even met my wife and me at the office over the weekend to make sure our cat was doing well (even though the office was closed). They have always taken great care of our animals. Their prices are competitive in the immediate area, and they never hesitate to refer out if necessary.

    Animal Hospital At the Shores
Their responsiveness, their promptness to see you, the don't make you wait, keeps me going back to them. They are very professional, and they know what they are doing. You choose them based on how good they are, not how expensive they are, because their prices are all in the same ball park.
