    Northwestern Memorial Hospital
I could not be happier with my medical care from Northwestern. It is a world class facility with world class doctors and staff. The Northwestern Executive Health program makes it a level above any other alternative in Chicago

    NorthWestern Memorial Physical Therapy
He is excellent. He particularly deals with families and children a lot. It's his specialty. He used to teach at Northwestern. He's got a good background. He is a really sweet guy. He is very flexible. I have trouble getting in and out of buildings. Sometimes, it takes a bit of working to figure out how to get me in a building. I am disabled. I'll use him occasionally when I get tired of going to doctors. Pretty much, all I do is complain about going to doctors.

They are very good there. Their communication is very good. I have used them for at least 7 or 8 years.

    Central DuPage Hospital
Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush did the actual surgery. Dr. Paprosky and Dr. Knedel were my surgeons. Dr. Paprosky is one of the TOP hip surgeons in the country and was a pioneer in the minimally invasive hip joint replacement procedure. I was in CDH for approximately 28-29 hours total. That is amazing for a man in his mid 60's. I was off of my walker and cane after 19 days. Equally amazing. West Central Anesthesia gave me a spinal and something to put me to sleep. I apologize for not remembering the doctor's name. I woke up so I am pretty sure that he or she did it right. Central DuPage Hospital is an incredible place. They are truly a world class medical facility with some amazing staff members. If this sounds like a paid endorsement it sort of is, except for the PAID part. Kidding aside, I almost forgot to mention that I did not take ANY of the prescribed pain medication or Tylenol I had at home because I only experienced mild discomfort. Again, amazing.

    Presence Resurrection Medical Center
The facility is great. The doctors are great, and caring. They follow up with you. They send you a notice if you need to make a follow up appointment. This is the clinic for the hospital.

Dupage Medical Group - Highland Ave. Tower 2
I go to Dr. Towers, and he is my primary doctor. He is overall good in my opinion. I have been going here for like 18-20 years.

    Edward Hospital
Their nurses were caring, supportive, attentive and very professional. They knew what they were doing. They were patient. It was very comforting to my Mother to help adjust to the situation.

    DuPage Medical Group
I've been a customer of the Dupage Medical Group for years. I am extremely pleased with all aspects of their performance. One area of their performance which did irritate me, waiting beyond the appointed time, has been improving dramatically. Ultimately though, a little waiting isn't that big a deal when you get superior care. Without exception the doctors will answer your questions, offer practical solutions and give you friendly nudges on how to improve your health.  big fan.I feel they are fairly priced and when there is an issue I have been dealt with fairly. I'm a big fan.

    Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center
I was admitted to the hospital following an emergency room visit, which was recommended by my oncologist when the visiting nurse noticed a high temperature. Although most rooms in the hospital are semi-private, I was given a private room to minimize the possibility that my infection would worsen by contact with other patients. Visitors to my room were also given masks to wear, for the same reason. The main thing I noticed about the hospital stay was how helpful the nurses and nurses aides were. They seemed to genuinely care about my well being and were consistently professional in their interactions with me. They took care to explain what they were doing (tests, medication, etc.) and why. When I complained about having to be taken all the way downstairs for an x-ray, a portable x-ray was brought to my room. Nurses willingly scheduled night time activities to minimize the interruptions to my sleep, and one night went around "shushing" people in the hallway when I complained I could not sleep due to the noise. They regularly asked me about pain and promptly brought me pain medication when needed. Housekeeping staff were very good sports about repeatedly having to clean the toilet in my room. On the second and third days, when I actually felt like eating, the food was reasonably tasty and delivered hot. For some reason on the day of my discharge, they skipped me when serving breakfast; however when I called the dietary service they were very apologetic and immediately brought a plate of freshly cooked bacon and eggs to my room -- even the toast was fresh and hot because they cooked it once they got to the floor. Illinois Masonic is a teaching hospital, so interns, medical residents and nursing students were involved in my care -- they were uniformly polite and expressing thanks for being allowed to see me. My call button was answered promptly on all but one or two occasions and on one occasion when my nurse was tied up with a very sick patient, another nurse responded instead to avoid further delay.
