    I've been with them for several years. I'm paying in the neighborhood of $250 per month. My basic complaint with them is, when you call them with a problem, you get a bunch of multiple choices and it takes forever to get through to what you want. There are times when even though they say they can resolve the problem, they can't. It's largely because they use a call center in India for much of their work. Not all of it. I usually have no problem at all when I get somebody stateside. When I get to somebody in India, it's virtually hopeless. I like the idea of cable rather than telephone line and I like the idea of having all the services - the telephone, television and internet services - through the same company. It has got some drawbacks to it because you can't have all three go down at the same time. I do like the fact that there is one person to call for all of the problems. That's why I do it. For providing the basic connection and the service for a fee, they're fine. I find that that's okay. But anytime anything goes wrong, I just absolutely hate dealing with the company. They just can't do what they say they're going to do. The last time I dealt with them was so bad, I haven't wanted to go back. I haven't wanted to make any other service call. I was on the telephone with them for hours and I got passed from person to person to person to person, most of whom were in India and couldn't resolve the problem. They have this structure in which they try to find the lowest paid person to solve the problem, which is efficient for them. But, when that person can't solve the problem, they pass it to another one. Quite frankly, the only person I talked to who knew how to fix the problem was based stateside and he said he couldn't fix the problem because he didn't have the right equipment. It had to be done through somebody else. He told me what to tell the person I got in touch with and not to let them do something he knew would not work. I got passed on to the next person and it didn't work out at all. I just wound up not having the problem resolved. This was a case of having a new modem shipped out to me and they wanted me to self install the modem and if I had trouble to call them up. I'm working with two modems because they could not get my telephone transferred to the new modem. One modem is for the television and the internet and the other modem is for the telephone. They actually sent me a couple of letters wanting me to send back the old modem. For about a year, they billed me $7 a month to rent that particular modem because I was supposed to return it to them. I just had such a bad experience. I'd rather pay $7 a month than talk to the service people. They stopped billing me for the second modem. But I still have it and I still use it. When they come out to the house, they're very punctual.

    I do not like them. I asked for a certain type of cable box and they said they didn't have any in the office. They said, we give you what we have in stock. Then I called on the phone and they were very nice to me and I ended up getting the box. Their prices are way to high. They never tell you when your bill is going to increase. When you say you're going to cancel they give you to another person who tells you they can offer a special to save you money. But they never try to save you money up-front.

    One thing that really irritated me was that you call them with a problem and they want to send somebody out even when you know that there is no problem at your end. We used to lose the internet connection during the cold months and they told me to change the router, which was not the problem. Everybody at Comcast that I talked to is nice but they have their routine.

    The actual cable service is okay and they did come on time when I had power problems. Their charges however tend to go up without any warning and the bills are not usually correct therefore I won't be using their services any longer.

    Their internet service is very fast. I don’t think they’re any better or any worst than anybody else. I’m not thrilled with the cable for television in general.
