    Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue
Absolutely devastated. I was told I could adopt a beautiful baby beagle. Jennifer the foster mom called me and gave me the awsome news ..we got on well and talked and I was over the moon! I asked if I could visit Tues and Pick up on Friday night so I'd have time to take off a week of work to get him settled in his new home. She loved that. Didn't even ask about the deposit I offered. Said she wants him to have a great transition since she couldn't keep him due to having other dogs. I kept in touch with her and Vic from the shelter and prepared my house for the new pup. Come to Monday and suddenly Jeffery's sister has Parvo and it's a deadly virus that usually kills puppies. So if he has it the shelter will not adopt out. I told her please keep me updated if he can make it though please keep me as his person. I started researching parvo and lifespan and everything ...I was freaking out...Jennifer gave me her apologies and reassured me that he would be mine as long as he didn't have it..I called her from work and she sounded genuinely upset about the situation and how she liked me. Then said she wanted a house video since she didn't visit my home. But that it should be ready so we can continue as planned once he's checked out and cleared. So I kept my hope up and sent her one after work. She said she got it and it was all good. I spent my night a total mess and was soo anxious for Jeffery. Tues morning I got a text saying Jeffery has it and they will not adopt him out but that she would be keeping him. I thanked her like an idiot...later I reached out to Vicki to fill her in and she had NO clue. A few hours later Vic calls and says Jeffery does NOT have Parvo. She just changed her mind and wants to keep him. So sorry but now he is her dog. I told Vic everything and she just denied it saying well I wouldn't call Jennifer a liar...does the pup have parvo? No? Then she is LIAR. I told her I would send her the messages and she didn't care. Said Jennifer was a 1st time foster and it happens. She s leaning..to be a liar 100% Then got super defensive about the shelter and how it's not their fault and they don't want a bad reputation. So I asked will she be allowed to foster again? Vic said oh well not right now since she has a puppy...yea Vic MY PUPPY! I reached out to Jennifer and she apologized. Basically because she got caught. If I didn't reach out to Vic I would have never know. And it didn't really help because she was super indifferent. I'm going to post at least the written messages i exchanged with her. Jennifer if you read this I pray you never do this to another person again.

Jessica is the most caring and responsible dog sitter I've had. Not only is she flexible for filling in as needed, she shows love to my dogs like they are her own. She also handled a medical emergency for one of my dogs in her care with professionalism and compassion. I know I can travel without worries when Jessica is staying with my dogs.

    WISE ROAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL
We took our dog Roscoe for the first time at the hostipal in early April. Roscoe was about 16 years old and was diagnosed with spleen tumor. He died at the hospital. Dr DeCraene's diagnosis and kind words helped us to find closure with his death. We also appreciate the signed consolation card from their office. We are grateful for their kind and compassionate service.

    Golf Rose Animal Hospital
SUMMARY: it is my opinion that this facility presents the absolute worst case scenario which is intended to scare pet owners in order to facilitate running up medical bills. I also believe the personChristy McCratic-- who attended to my beloved doggie to be wholly unprofessional and lacking in good judgment. (I contacted the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation and was told that Ms McCratic did not have a current Veterinary license on file.) I have been a dog owner for over 30 years and have had the pleasure of caring for 4 companions who have all lived well into their senior years including my current guy, Cooper. Ive been to countless vets and have dealt with a myriad of canine health issues. I can say with absolute certainty that I have never had a worse veterinarian experience than my recent visit to Rose Animal Hospital. My opinions are based on having been to Rose ER vet services twice with 2 different dogs. Both times I left with the same bad feelings and suspicions, to wit, that I was given the worst case scenario only and wasnt informed of probabilities or alternative outcomes. I felt taken advantage of and that the primary focus had been to collect as much money from my wallet as possible. During my first visit, my 13 y.o. shepherd was diagnosed with a large tumor on his spleen. Given his age I never considered surgery an option. The vet told me the tumor could rupture at any moment and that Lojack would die. She recommended that I have him stay in the emergency room indefinitely to be monitored. When I asked whether that would prevent his death, she said no. I rejected her recommendation and brought Lojack home. My boy lived a normal and active life for another 14 months despite the dire warnings from this vet that he could drop dead at any moment. Visit 2 occurred Dec. 30th after Cooper got into Christmas chocolate. Against my better judgment I took him to the closest place possible--Rose ER-- in order to get him treated asap. Cooper was seen by Ms Christy McCratic. As mentioned above, I inquired with the Illinois Regulatory Department that licenses vets whether she had a license in large part because she seemed very unsure of herself. I actually asked her during the visit if she was a vet because my immediate impression was maybe she was a technician only. Of course when one is afraid that their beloved doggie may die, youre in a very vulnerable position and have to take what you get in terms of knowledge and experience. My objection with the treatment provided by Ms McCratic is as follows: 1. She presented me with a long list of recommended treatments some of which were unrelated to ingesting chocolate. In response to my request to simply treat Cooper for the issue at handpossible chocolate poisoning, she refused and said I had to agree to the entire protocol or go elsewhere. 2. Ms McCratic provided advice that she received via phone from someone who did not see or examine Cooper and refused my request to use her own judgment. (This is when I asked if she was a vet. I was not being sarcasticI truly wondered what this persons qualifications were.) By way of example of how excessive Ms McCratics recommendations were, she told me Cooper would need to be held in the ER for 36-48 hours. The ER vet I went to immediately after leaving Rose told me she would simply take Cooper home and monitor him. To be safe, I left Cooper with the wonderful Dr Lingner at Elk Grove ER and was notified 5 hours later that Cooper was doing well and could go home. During my stay at Rose I was very upset by virtue of my dog being at risk of death and became more upset when I realized the person treating him was someone who seemed both unsure of herself as well dogmatic in her views. Clearly Ms McCratic did not like my resisting her efforts to get me to spend an unlimited amount of money. So much so apparently that before I left she called the Schaumburg police. I later learned from the owner of Rose that they have called the police in the past against at least one other client who was then arrested and sent to jail. As anyone whos been to an ER vet knows, all you care about is the well being of your pet. You have no choice but to trust they know what theyre doing and have your pets best interests in mind. After my 2 visits to Rose Animal Hospital ER it is my opinion that their no. 1 priority is making money. In concert with this goal, there seemed to be an effort to scare me and take advantage of my concerns for my pet by recommending excessive and unnecessary treatments in order to make as much money as possible. Full Disclosure: I have filed a formal complaint with the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation on the basis that Ms McCratic violated the Standards of Professional Responsibility. I do not know if she is licensed in Illinois or anywhere else. I can confirm only that I was told by an IDFPR representative that a search of her name in their database shows that there is no Vet License on file for her.

    Shannon's Pet-Sitting
They do a great job! My kitties get plenty of attention, and my older cat gets his blood pressure medicine. They text me daily with photos and updates on what my kitties are up to. All three of my kitties love these sitters.

    FOREST VIEW ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Stopped going to this vet many years ago when he killed our pet by over anesthetizing him while removing a small tumor from his ear. Decided to go back again years later for nail trimming on dogs based on convenience of location to my home (would never trust him with more than nail trimming though). Unfortunately, today when we went in for nail trimmings he had raised his price by 50% without notifying us until after they were completed. When I called to complain, he offered no solution/resolution for failure to let us know after the fact. My dog groomer does nails for less than half the price that he charges and she even includes filing the nails afterwords to prevent rough edges. I'm just sorry I ever gave them a penny of my money. Should have taken the death of my pet as the final straw in dealing with this place. Lesson learned.

    There's no place like home
I have been with Jessica for several years now and never had a more caring, respectful, and compassionate caretaker for my two dogs. When one of my dogs had a medical emergency, she handled it in a responsible, knowledgeable, and loving manner. I can totally enjoy my vacations knowing that she is watching over my babies and the house. My dogs also love having her stop by for a walk when I'm at work. I highly recommend There's No Place Like Home for any pet walking/care needs.

Jessica is amazing!! I have used her services for about 2 years now and have never had any problems. She is very dependable and extremely accommodating!!!! My dog, Sophie, LOVES her! Sophie had socialization issues when I first adopted her, but she was not afraid of Jessica. I also researched and interviewed other dog walking services and they could not guarantee that the same person would walk my dog. I wanted the same contact person so my dog wouldn't get anxious. I feel Jessica provides an extremely wonderful and trustworthy pet service! I highly recommend using her services!!

    HOFFMAN ESTATES ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Dr. House & Dr. Williams, wonderful people. They treated my animals for 30 years. They’re just wonderful people. Dr. Williams is the sweeter, nicer one. Dr. House is probably the more knowledgeable, focused one, but they’re both great. The staff’s wonderful. Dr. Williams was crying at the time. They’ve know all our pets their whole lives. I wished they didn’t move a little further away, but that’s nothing against their rating. I think they’re wonderful and they know that. They’re welcome to get my name that they’re great, cause they are.

They are good. I have an insurance plan with them. My dogs are fine and healthy. I like that we could afford the insurance policy. It goes by the size of the dog. They call me when it's time to bring the dog in. I like that.

Because I have the insurance and I like the veterinarian there, is why I go back. They treat my dogs like their own.
