    BILL'S POWER EQUIPMENT REPAIR

The recoil starter cord on my 20 years Toro snow blower broke. Call Bill's Power Equipment and they provided an estimate over the phone. Dropped it off late afternoon, and received a call next day that it is ready. No issue, very professional, delivered as promised. The price is exactly what they quoted over the phone. A little bit steep for replacing a starter cord, but I suppose most goes into labor because you will have to un-mount the engine to get to the recoil starter for my model. That's why I called a professional unlike other small repairs on this snow blower.

    AAM'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
I used them one time only. It was too much of a hassle to deal with them again. They're too far away. It was so-so. I would not use them again. The condition of their office was kind of like a "fly by night" place. I didn't like them.

    AAM'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIR

Professional, pleasant and punctual.  Answered all my questions and concerns and gave me pointers on how to winterize the mowers.  He came to my home which was an added bonus.  I highly recommend AAM and will use them in the future for all my small engine needs.

    AAM'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
The repairs were completed on time. Normally they come to your home and complete the service. However, because of the extremely low temperatures they came and picked up the snowblower free of charge, then took it to their shop to do the repairs. On the day we arranged to have them return it they did not come so we called them. It turns out the snow blower was stolen from their workshop the night before. The owner apologized and said he had a similar model of his own that he would give us to compensate. He brought it that day and waived the repair fee. It has worked well. We appreciate his honesty and stepping up to make us whole in a difficult situation. We'll definitely use him again.

    next year.
I have a large snowblower that I can't transport. I called AAm's since they come out to the house. I thought I might as well get my mower tuned too as I had been using it all summer. He came out a few minutes earlier than the time we set, tunrd both machines in a very short timr, changed oil, etc. Gave me a discount since two machines were done. Very pleased, Will use again

    AAM'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
Came to house and did repairs in his truck. No need to try to haul the machine elsewhere. Price was also lower than any of the storefront places we used previously. Gave him name to friends, and they too loved his work.

    BILL'S POWER EQUIPMENT REPAIR
I have been taking my machines them for years and they are great.  I was wondering if I was throwing my money away by repairing a snowblower bullt in 1980; they have kept it running since 2001 for me.  On the flip side, they advised me not to fix my old lawnmower and get a new one. I appreciate their honest advice.

    AAM'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
We bought the tune-up package.  I told them the self-propelled feature of my mower wasn't working. they said, "let us take a look at it and if we cannot fix that, maybe you don't want the tune-up, because maybe you won't keep that mower long enough to make it worth it."  But they fixed the self-propelled feature AND tuned it up.
Later, when the self-propelled motor stopped working again, my husband called
and they told him how to fix it over the phone!  Since then it has been
working like a charm. no problems.  They were quick, friendly,
professional and they came to our house, so I didn't have to try to haul
    the mower somewhere.  Really great!

    AAM'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
The people were very nice and friendly.  The person who wrote up the order looked at the snowblower impeller blades and said they looked fine, and concluded that the blades were not the issue related to the poor snowthrowing problem, but they would look it over and advise.  WIthin a few days, I received a call to come and pick-up the snowblower; there were no extra charges or surprises, I just had to submit the Angie's List voucher, which I did.
I would presume that the tune up was done, but the snowthrower neither ran any better nor did it throw snow any better.  Unfortunately, since I brought the snowblower in at the end of the season, I did not get the chance to test it before it was drained of gas an put away for the summer.  I brought the snowthrower in to another provider in late fall who said that the impeller blades were worn past the specifications and the carburetor needed a cleaning and adjustment.  He provided those services for around $100 and when I got the snowblower back, it ran and threw snow just like new.
I wish AAMS would have found the issues, done the work and charged me for it so I did not have to bring in the snowthrower again to fix the problems.  But, I guess I got exactly what the Angies List special indicated; no more, no less.

    ADMIRAL LAWNMOWER SALES & SVC
I discovered an oil leak with my brand new snapper snow thrower. I dropped it off for warranty repair in the the spring of 2013. Admiral was busy with springtime work, so they put my thrower in storage until the fall which I didn't mind since summer was coming. I started calling about my thrower in early fall. It was a little frustrating because I called multiple times to inquire about the status of the repair only to be told they would get to work on it soon. Eventually, they accomplished the needed repairs and I received my snow thrower back just in time for winter. The quality of work was satisfactory and they made extra effort in acquiring needed parts so that I was not charged for any shipping or cost of parts. They are friendly and try to please, but they seem to be very busy which is why my job kind of got lost in the process. Overall, I like the company and trust them to do me right.
