    Third Street Eyecare
I can only describe the business practice of Third Street Eyecare as fraudulent. We have VSP insurance. My wife thought it was in her name, but it was in mine (we have the same employer).Upon giving her name and information, she was told that she was "covered".In fact, Third Street did NOT find the VSP insurance coverage, but instead went to work using only a very general "discount" program which applied to our employer. The difference in price between the insurance which we have, and the "discount" they used was over $500.This, despite telling her that she was "covered".I corrected them and corrected the bill to the $10 copay each for my wife and two daughters. The "insurance specialist" and I agreed that the charge was correctly $30 for all work.Case closed........not quite. Upon reviewing the refund to my credit card, I noticed that they did not retain the agreed upon $30, instead retaining $84.I called again, and the "insurance specialist" informed me that there was a $54 charge for "Optional Retinal Screening". She assured me that my wife had been informed that this was an optional service in addition to the requested eye exam for new glasses. She assured me that my wife was additionally informed that there was a charge of $18 for this fancy digital picture of the retina.Of course, she was not informed of any such thing. In fact, the words used were "..the doctor likes to have this...." Looks like the "doctor" is paying for his fancy new machine. Well, I think the doctor needs to be charged with consumer fraud.Telling a customer that they are "covered" by the insurance they have plainly indicated they have and then charging them under a "discount" program that is NOT insurance is FRAUD.Doing a procedure "which the doctor likes to have" and which is NOT part of an eyeglass exam and carries an additional charge without explaining it and the charge to the customer is FRAUD.

    Sullivan Ostoich Eye Center
I went to the office to make the appointment so I could see the environment and to listen to the office staff when answering the phone or talking to clients in the office.  A+++ for that test so I made an appointment for my husband and myself.  Everyone was polite and friendly. The technician and the doctor were prompt, friendly and informative.  We will remain patients.

    SUBURN ASSOC
She is good. I have been going to her for a number of years. I went to her father before that, he is retired. She was recommended to me by my primary doctor.  She is very busy. Their practice is very busy and you need to get an appointment almost a year in advance but she is there when you get the appointment. You don't wait for her for too long, she is pretty good. She doesn't spend two minutes with everybody, she spends time with you. They are very friendly. You couldn't be nicer than she is.  I had a problem with one eye at one point and she called me 3 times a day.

    Wolin, Dr. Lawrence D
Have no treatment complaints with the exception of the receiving complete information regards my sight after the cataract surgeries.  Prior to I could read without my glasses.  Now I cannot but I can drive without my glasses and can see clearly except for the reading.  The reason for leaving is lack of respect for my time.

    Sullivan Ostoich Eye Center
Very convenient location and comfortable office.  I went to them for a year or two.  They worked with the VSP program.  The doctor was very attentive and I the exam was thorough.  Selection of frames wasn't that great, but they provided me with my prescription which I used at the other guys to get glasses made.   Overall the staff was very nice and provided excellent service, however there was one staffer that brought my rating down.

    Cinefro, Dr. Robert J
I knew the day would come that my eye doctor of over 30 years would retire and I would need to find a new one. I was extremely pleased with Dr. Cinefro and I might even say I like him more than my previous doctor. He has a pleasant, yet professional demeanor and took time to explain things. One of my pet peeves is doctors that rush and this was not a problem Dr. Cinefro. He gladly answered my questions and made sure I understood everything. I will definitely visit him again in the future.

    The LASIK Vision Institute
I went to have a full exam and consultation at three different providers. I was considered a good candidate at all three. My insurance provided a little discount at one provider but they were also the most expensive so the discount really didn't help.
For me, LASIK Vision Institute offices were convenient from work (loop) and home (NW subs). Additionally, I found a really great price and that was the deciding factor - less than half the cost of the other providers. I was impressed that they told me to watch for the special price rather than trying to push me on full price. As with the other providers, lifetime coverage if I ever need treatment again, too.
When the big day arrived the only challenging part was the wait. I think we had to wait three hours.
As it turns out, there was a reason for the wait. Besides doing a final exam of my eyes again to make sure they had all the right info the time waiting was spent as they programmed the computer for the procedure for everyone that was waiting and then once that was done they actually got everyone done very quickly.
Not surprisingly, having someone messing with your eyes is a hair raising experience - not painful at all - just freaky having people mess with your eyes. Each eye was done in a snap.
I am pleased with my LASIK experience and have already recommended LASIK Vision Institute to others.

    Sesso, Dr. Patrick
Dr Sesso is a very sweet unassuming optometrist with many years of experience in his field. have gone to him for about 20 years.
He is very thorough as well. Highly recommend him as a dr.The store that he is connected with has gone through a lot of changes over the past 5 years and the optical staff turnover reflects a less friendly environment than before. Glasses are pricey.

    Mayer Eye Care
Dr Mayer is a very genial guy and made it an enjoyable visit. His staff have been very kind and helpful each time I called or came into the office. Its a small office but we both found glasses we liked in the selection offered there and will definately return next year.
