    Prime Time Window & Gutter Cleaning Inc
    While I had some concern regarding a review I read that cautioned about the actual amount charged being over the originally quoted amount, I followed up with Prime Time Window & Gutter Cleaning. After giving the specifics to Prime Time, I was quoted $90. I mentioned I saw a coupon for $10 off on their website and could I use it. I was told I could. After finalizing the price, I mentioned we were retired and were ���fairly open as far as day and time goes��� and I asked ���what works for you?��� The response came, ���we can come out tomorrow���. I asked if they could narrow the time down a bit as we have an older dog with incontinence issues and wanted to get him outside before they arrived. The response was they would text us. I informed them our number is a landline; call instead. With that set up, hubby and I planned our day. To our surprise, Prime Time showed up late afternoon. No call; wrong day. I told the guy I had to deal with my dog, who was getting excited and just might have an accident if I didn���t act. While I was in the backyard with my dog, hubby was so annoyed he told the guy to leave. Then came a call from Prime Time. The guy on the other end wanted to know why his guy couldn���t perform the gutter cleaning. We had plans! The appointment was for the following day! He actually had the audacity to say, ���You said you would be home all day���. I said no such thing!! (Thumbtack can verify this by looking back at the communication that transpired between Prime Time and me.) As I adamantly stated the appointment was for ���tomorrow���, we will be available ���tomorrow���. The response was, ���Yes, ma���am��� and I knew at that moment we wouldn���t be seeing Prime Time the following day, as scheduled. And Prime Time did not disappoint. They were a no show. Hubby called to inquire as to the reason they not only didn���t show, but didn���t have the decency to call. He was told they got hung up on one of their jobs and got behind. They rescheduled us for the following day (Friday) for the same time (3:00pm ��� 4:00pm). Do I need to say it? Yep! No show, no call, same excuse. This time when hubby called to reschedule, he picked between 8:00am and 10:00am Monday. By noon and no show, I called Prime Time and spoke with the same person I did the week before. When I asked to whom I was speaking, I was told ���Will���. When I asked if this was William Dron, I was told it was. I asked if this was the same William Dron who is the Principal, President, and Customer Contact of Prime Time (per the BBB website), in other words, the owner. And he replied no, he was not. So, I asked to speak to the owner. He replied, ���What do you want, we can do what you want���. Well, I just said what I wanted (to speak to the owner) because they apparently can���t do what we want (show when scheduled). After pressing to speak with the owner, he finally admitted he was the owner. I asked when they would arrive to clean our gutters. He was noncommittal, but said it would be that day. I asked for a call before arrival. Around 2:30pm, Prime Time arrived; no call beforehand. The guy who did the work was very pleasant and if it weren���t for the fact that he missed one downspout, I would have said he did a fabulous job. But as it was, I had to get out the ladder and take care of that one in the rain. (Hubby broke his back during the polar vortex and is still in a hard plastic torso brace.) When it came time to pay, the guy asked for $90. My husband handed him a check for $80. (He was concerned if we used a credit card, the amount charged wouldn���t have been $80.) It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong and Prime Time was wrong when they decided to show up unannounced on the wrong day. Prime Time was wrong to lie to me. Prime Time was wrong to repeatedly blow off scheduled appointments and not call once. Prime Time was wrong to ask for an amount other than that which was previously agreed upon. Prime Time never admitted they were wrong. Look for someone else.

The agree-upon price was fair and the teams that performed the work were polite, respectful and addressed any/all problems encountered quickly and properly. Good communication and excellent quality of work. I will use this company again in the future when needed.

    J&K are by far the best contractor I've worked with over the last couple of years. I purchased a 1930 home back in 2017, and it needed a lot of fixing up including a new roof. I requested four roofing bids. J&K wasn't the cheapest, but they were also not the most expensive. So why did I choose them? I was lucky enough to be connected with J&K employee, John Lee. He provides care, quality, thoroughness, honesty, responsiveness, expertise, and customer service above and beyond -- time and time again. November 2018, I had some large tree branches fall on my home and wreck my corner gutter. J&K quickly responded with a fair quote and took care of the job quickly. March 2019, as I began prepping my attic for insulation, I noticed a couple of leaks. I reached out to John Lee one Sunday evening, and he responded first thing Monday morning. He came out that week to take pictures and advised me on how to handle (chimney stack). Even though the leak was NOT an issue caused by J&K, John Lee has visited my roof and chimney a couple more times and has been by my side helping me to track down the leak issues and get them resolved. He's given me peace and mind which is so challenging to find these days when hiring contractors. So, if you need a "Roofing Guy", I gotta guy! Just call J&K Home Improvements & Restorations.     They responded right away and offered a great price to clean the gutters. I specifically asked in the email if the downspouts would be flushed and they responded yes. When the technicians came they basically just scooped all of the debris (we had mud and standing water in the gutters) into a bag and never used a hose to flush anything. They left the bag of debris on our property and splatters of mud everywhere over our gutters and driveway. I emailed that I was a little upset and they got back to me right away saying they could come fix the splatters on the ground. I didn't bother because I had already cleaned it up after they left. I guess I just thought they would be more detailed and leaving a clean work area and they were not. When the manager emailed me and saw the pictures he said "the gutters look clean to me and it's pointless to wash them out and the rain will clean up the mess on the ground" Quite honestly a horrible response when a customer has an issue. This review is just intended to let everyone know that when hiring this company just make sure they clean up their work area and flush the downspouts out if you ask, because if you do not double check, they won't do it.
