    Mr. David's Handyman Plus, INC
He did an awesome job. He called to set up an appointment and showed up on time ready to answer all of my questions. He had the estimate for us by the next day and final add-on's the day. He showed up the day we scheduled and finished the job by the time promised. He is professional, on time, hard working and very polite! Plan on calling him again for more house improvements!

    Closet Organizing Systems
Perfect, start to finish. We looked at four companies and chose this team the control and own the whole process. No sub contractors. Met the owner in thier Bartlett office and felt comfortable that they were the right choice.

    West DuPage Cabinets and Granite
Prior to meeting with Cathy at West DuPage, we had met with a number of other contractors, and had not found the right partners for our project. She put us at ease right away and helped us through the design phase, working within our budget. Cathy has a good eye for color and understood our sensibilities, knowing what would work and what wouldn't. She was open and creative with our suggestions for custom touches to get our kitchen just how we wanted. As for the installation phase, the job was completed on schedule. It went like clockwork and fast. When small issues came up, as they always do on projects like this, they were quick to accommodate us. All the work was well done, especially the cabinet and trim work. We were extremely happy with how it all turned out. Cathy and Chris were available to us for whenever we had questions, small change requests, or needed opinions on lighting and granite selections. West DuPage really worked with us to turn our vision of a new kitchen into reality. We would highly recommend their work to anyone looking for top quality work and materials at a fair price.

David is prompt and professional. He did an amazing job gutting and remodeling our bathroom. He built a custom vanity and added beautiful oak trim throughout. His prices are fair and he is honest about what you need and don't need. He is a perfectionist so the end result is beautiful work! Going forward he will be the first person we call for any remodeling work.

    J Display Case
J Display Case did an excellent job to make the box. This box is custom made to fit our requirement to make our lab work safe from electric shock. The owner of the company listened to our needs and reacted fast. The box works very well for our testing and it looks nice too. I'm very happy with it. I'll definitely recommend the company.

    Honea Construction
Eric was called on a Saturday to step in on a DIY kitchen remodel which had dragged on for one year. My buddy was not comfortable cutting the new sink base cabinet to fit a 36" apron front farm sink. Eric showed up within 2 hours and perfectly cut the cabinet, mounted the new sink, and installed the rest of the first batch of cabinets on phase one of the project. After insuring that all of the cabinets were plumb and level, Eric then installed the plumbing for the new sink and dishwasher. He also prepared a temporary plywood platform so the faucet could be used during the wait for counter tops.
My buddy and I watched in awe as Eric had up to 8 power tools ready at his finger tips.  The speed and efficiency with which he operates frankly demoralized myself, who has watched one too many DIY TV show! There was no wasted time, as Eric's truck contains every conceivable tool necessary to complete any task. He virtually ran to his truck on the few occasions he needed to grab something.
Prior to  Eric's involvement, I removed a soffit which contained a vent pipe for the sink drain. The pipe came out of the wall and through the ceiling at a right angle. I imagined altering this pipe would be too costly, so I cleaned up the galvanized pipe with a wire brush and painted it with stainless steel Rustoleum to match the adjacent exhaust fan. I decided that I would use hooks to hang spoons and spatulas from it. Eric pointed out that this "800 LB gorilla" might make for interesting conversation for a while but might not be a good long term idea in the event I decide to sell the house. In a little over one hour, Eric had re-routed the pipe up the wall and out the roof through the same existing roof hole. The drywall was patched and voila, it disappeared!
Eric has also prepared the wall opening for a new breakfast bar, moving an electrical outlet and running electric for the light fixture. When the cabinets arrived for phase two, Eric installed them with the same proficiency those he installed during phase one.
He is not much for conversation, but friendly and respectful enough. He shows up when he says he will, completes tasks efficiently without excuses, and can think out of the box. An example of this was the installation of the exhaust fan which came with limited instructions. Eric fabricated supports for the fan and secured it solidly to the wall. He also fabricated supports for the Krauss farm sink within the base cabinet. The sink manufacturer provided no guidance for a support system.

Brakur builds a great cabinet!  Their cabinets are custom so you can achieve the exact look you want without having to piece together substandard stock cabinets will filler pieces from the other guys.  I worked with Andi Cassem at Brakur to design our kitchen remodel.  She was extremely attentive and always willing to answer all my questions.  She had a lot of great ideas and got us what we wanted without breaking the bank.  She quickly resolved any issues that arose.  I installed the cabinets myself although they do offer professional installation services.  They even have someone that comes after the cabinets are installed to adjust all of the doors and make sure everything works properly.  I would work with Brakur and Andi again in a heartbeat.

    Winchell Woodworking
He did an excellent job and is very willing to make you happy. He suggested adding details that I never even thought of, such as a pillowed edge on all the cabinet doors. He matched the exact color of the cabinets to the existing woodwork and created a very smooth finish on all of the pieces. He matched the style of the cabinets to the contemporary look I was going for in the room. Our TV looks and works great above our fireplace and the new mantle really makes the fireplace a focal point. I was very pleased with the results and I am starting another project with him involving the cornices for my family room windows. He even helped us to rearrange furniture and hang pictures! I would recommend Winchell Woodworking to anyone.

    Winchell Woodworking
David from Winchell Woodworking was a pleasure to do business with.  He is very creative and helped us design a kitchen far better than we could have ever dreamed of on our own.  He had great suggestions, provided quality materials and work and was reasonably priced.  The countertops he and his crew installed are absolutely beautiful.  We also had him design a new island for us which is no longer just an ordinary island, but a custom built piece of furniture and now the focal point of the kitchen.  HIs attention to detail was amazing!  We would definitely use David for any future countertop or woodworking needs that we have.
