The technician came out after-hours to look at my sump-pump, which was stuck in the "on" position. He got it working properly, then we discussed pros and cons of keeping a 10-year-old pump. I opted to replace, and he was back the next day, on time. He put the new unit in and tested it. Something was not right with the backup pump. He brought a whole new setup the next day and completed the job. This company has seasoned technicians who have been with them for years.

Drains Inc. is your answer. Period. My situation turned out to be unique and Drains Inc handled it perfectly. I first called one of the Rooter businesses and completely regret it. The guy was either inexperienced or an idiot. He charged me $300 and left me hanging. I went to Yelp and found Drains Inc. They had great reviews so I gave them a try. Tim (owner) and Adam (apprentice) came out and kicked but. Like I said, my situation was unique. My line not only runs through the neighbor's yard, it runs under their breezeway and into their front yard. And the house is for sale and vacant. Tim took control, tracked down the owner, got permission to dig in their yard not once, but twice, and got the job done. Tim was making calls on his own time to help get the project done in as soon as possible and with as little inconvenience to me as possible. Communication was great throughout. Seriously, if you are looking for a plumber that will go the extra mile, get the job done right, and someone you can flat out trust, it's Drains Inc. Never once did I feel that I was being taken advantage of or that the job was being mishandled. Tim is a small businessman that cares about his work and his customers. Give Drains Inc. a try and you'll want to leave them a great review, too.

The owner came to go over all the things we needed done and provided an estimate when he said he would. The handyman who completed all the projects, Gary, paid attention to details and did them with quality. I would hire them again for any future projects!

S & K Plumbing has been taking care of St. Peter Church in Volo for many years. We have been totally satisfied with their work. They are prompt and fees are reasonable, so much so, that they are the plumber we go to at home also, which seem to be always emergencies. Once they were able to talk my husband through figuring out what was wrong with out sump pump. They know their business.

On Friday, 1-19-18, I contacted Dan because there was water on the basement utility room floor around the water heater ejector pump well cover & the floor drain. While on the phone, Dan asked me to check a couple of things out to determine the waters origin. Based upon my answers, it was determined that the ejector pump had stopped functioning. Dan gave me a quote while on the phone for a new pump, check valve & labor. I approved the cost and we scheduled the repairs for the following Monday at 10 AM. Dan & his crew arrived a tad early, but that was no problem since I was home. Two hours later the repairs were completed with no additional costs. Since I had used Dan a couple of times before, I knew what to expect, a professional job, the work area left as neat as it was before the repairs, the defective parts hauled away and not a foot track anywhere on the tile or carpet due to the sloppy conditions outside. Dan & his crew are the essence of professionalism putting the customer first, price wise, efficiency, and honesty. Dan is a definite for future work & I already have another job in mind.

They came on time and explain the issue that we have not rotted our lines for a long time and all the food and garbage is getting stuck in our pipes. They recommended rodding the pipes and provided treatment to ensure that it doesn't happen again. We also end signing up for their monthly program that helped us save money on our final bill.

We thought Lou was an experienced, licensed contractor. He is neither. Everything he did in our basement will need to be ripped out and redone. Sink drain is too low and not vented properly. Water lines to sink are too low and spread too far apart for a pedestal sink. Light fixture was not centered above sink. Toilet drain and water line installed in the wrong place. Poor quality taping and mudding on drywall. Engineered floor laid without a cushion underlayment. In the words of 2 other contractors who have come to bid on fixing his mistakes and finishing the job, his work was "a hot mess." We paid him $2,800 of a $3,500 job, and now have to start all over. We have heard from another one of his clients since our experience that they also fired him for poor workmanship.

It went fantastic. Dan came out on august 4th, to look the jobs over and give us an estimate. Since we had Dan perform other work previously, we knew his pricing was fair and there would be no surprises later on. We set up a schedule for the work to be done that following Wednesday, 8/9 at 8 AM. Wednesday came and Dan's crew was at my front door right at 8 AM. Good start. They came in and in a couple hours we had a new functioning sump pump and my house was left spotless. Unfortunately, Dan ran into a problem and couldn't make it to complete the other 2 projects. Since they were a non emergency, we scheduled the additional 2 jobs to be completed the following Friday, 8/11. Dan showed up on time as usual, you can set your watch by him. The 2 jobs were completed in a couple of hours. Again, our house was left without a trace that plumbers were in the house working. I could tell because my 3 projects were completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Thank you Dan & crew for once again doing a great service. PS: I missed having Demetrius here, say "Hi" to him for us.
