Work was done quickly and professionally by a courteous employee. He cleaned up afterward. This was a small job but it was well done. I received a quote, a date was scheduled and the work was completed. I am happy to recommend this company.

Went fantastic.   They came recommended by two close friends and they were excellent.  They worked quickly and effeiciently and cleaned up the mess.  They chose to hand wheel the concrete to the construction areas rather than bring the concrete truck drive over out landscaped lawn which would ruin it..   We highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat. Great people.

The demo and prep work was completed in one day, the weather turned rainy for several days and the work was not completed until the end of the following week. The end product is great and was worth the wait. We have recommended them to a neighbor who is also having concrete work done. I would highly recommend them for any concrete work.

First of all it was very difficult to find a company that does concrete AND landscaping.  Our home is approx. 26 yrs. old.  The front porch was coming away from the house.  We tried to fix the gap ourselves over the years but it just kept getting bigger and more unsightly.  The bushes were all overgrown so now was the time.  We called quite a few concrete places since that was the main problem.  Several said they could sub-contract a landscaper to remove old shrubs and plant new ones.  The price for just getting the old concrete out and new poured was almost $300.00 less than Selvin's.  We contacted Selvin's (we had a post card from them--I don't know where I got the post card-possibly a home show).  We checked them out on Angies and gave them a call.  Selvin (the owner) came out several days later.  We explained what we wanted and asked for any design help.  We also asked for 2 estimates--one for just doing the porch and walk and one for doing a decorative  wall along the front of our house.  A week and a half later we had both estimates.  We thought our budget for the whole project was $5,000,but after we saw the computer picture of what our house could look like we decided to spend the $1,300 more to have the Unilock wall installed as well.  We would be purchasing all the new shrubs and plants (11 in all) and Selvin's would plant them for us.  We signed and gave 50% deposit on 9/9/13.  It took till the 24th before any work was done.  We removed some decorative cobbler stones and several bushes ourselves.  We were told the previous week (when I met him at a company in Addison to see the Unilock bricks in person--it's hard to choose a color from a tiny picture) that the work should start on Monday.  Both my husband and I made last minute arrangements with our work schedules to be home for the 3 day job.  We were disappointed to find out after we called Selvin that he won't start until Tuesday.  Tues--all shrubs removed, old sidewalk and porch jackhammered away.  Also framing for the new porch design and longer walkway.  It seems the cement slab 4 ft down cracked years ago and that is why the whole porch was leaning away from the house.  Wednesday Selvin and his crew arrive in the morning to finish reinforcing the framing for the new porch.  By 11:30 the cement truck arrives and by 12 noon they are done pouring.  It took another 2 1/2 hours to smooth everything out.  I tried to ignore the tire tracks on our asphalt driveway from the cement truck and our damaged lawn, because things were looking good.  I asked Selvin what time he would be here Thursday to start the wall.  He said "Oh, we won't be back til Sat".  I told him we had adjusted our work so one of us was home this whole time.  He just said no--we will be back Sat..  So Saturday arrives and he is here with a crew unloading the Unilock bricks we choose.  Took all day to dig trench for wall, build and cap wall and plant 8 bushes and 3 perennials (they used our soil conditioner and bags of top soil). He told my husband he would call Sunday to let us know when he was bringing the mulch.  No call on Sunday so I called 1st thing Monday to let him know we wanted Friday AM.  We were going to install Malibu lights on Wed.  Selvin said I'm on my way now,  I told him had he called I would have had advised him earlier.  He said" Fine see you Friday"  Friday 8am a truck arrives with mulch.  So all and all we are very pleased with the final product.  He agreed to honor the contacted price even though he said it was a bigger job than he anticipated.    We would have liked more updates and contact from him-I was the one to call but like I said we are pleased with the results.

Vito arrived on time to give an estimate on an area in  our yard we were thinking of putting stamped concrete in to enlarge our current patio. He quickly pointed out the drainage issues that would result if we were to repalce the grass with concrete. He gave us some other options which we are considering .
I was appreciative of how honest he was seeing as we had two other previous estimates for the same area for pavers and neither of those companies pointed out any drainage issues. Im impressed that he chose to be honest vs taking on a job for money that that might result in being a problem area afterwards water drainage wise. If we decide to go with the other options or any future concrete work G_Cat will be the first place we call.

They were quick in responding. The owner called back and of course he was very busy. So it was 2 months after but we didn't care because it’s just the garage so that was fine but he called us and he came out. We showed him what he needed and he gave us the approximate price for what it would cost. He sent 2 guys out and they have worked all week on it and it looks good. I was pleased.

When I called to get a quote, Tyrone spent about 15 minutes asking questions about the project as well as answering my questions. We set an appointment time two weeks from my initial call. At the agreed upon time, Tyrone showed up with clip-board and measuring wheel. We walked through each of the areas, he asked questions, took notes and measurements. Once we had finished, he went back to his truck and in about 10 minutes I had a quote in my email.
I had talked to 3 different concrete guys. The first was my original sub-contractor, who had done a great job on the foundation walls, basement floor and main floors, but he wasn't in a position to do the work in a timely fashion. I then spoke with a contractor who had a coupon in one of those mailers. He came out, provided a quote in a short amount of time, but it was a little lean on details. The price was lower than TMW's price, but I wasn't confident that I would be getting what I wanted and needed.
I asked  a few additional questions of Tyrone over the next couple of days and decided that he was the right contractor for the job.
I was right! He knew that we wanted to get the work done quickly so that we could continue with the rest of our project, so he started the work when he was waiting for permits or inspections on other jobs. Within a couple of days, we were ready for our own inspection, which passed on the first visit. The next day the concrete was poured for about 1/3 of the job as we had agreed to. A couple of days later, the remainder of the job was completed. We are especially pleased with the results, their timeliness and workmanship. I cannot say enough good things about these guys! On-Time, On-Budget, Marvelous Quality!
    Great job Tyrone!

I called this company to get a quote for fixing a problem with my concrete pad and sump pump discharge.  Terry Debartolo was more than helpful.  He had me send him photographs of the problems and told me how to fix the sump pump problem myself and gave me very helpful information about fixing the concrete pad.  He didn't charge us anything for his expert opinion and even saved us about $150 by telling us how to fix the problem ourselves!

Dont bother with this company. They NEVER respond, period. I emailed them 08/19/2012 at 9:09 am for a quote, never got a response back. Then on 08/21/2012 at 4:13 pm I left a voice mail message, never responded. They must be way too busy and making too much money to respond to my request to replace my driveway and front stoop.
