    Integrity Building & Remodeling
This was our first time hiring a contractor to do any extensive work and it went very well. We needed to gut and remodel the kitchen and bath in a rental home. Bob was professional, helpful and very easy to work with. As this is a rental home we were not there and we are very grateful that Bob did his work without having to be hounded. He also went above and beyond what he had to do to get the job. Thanks for the great job and making this as painless as possible.

It took around 6 months, but Grant and Brian did a beautiful job. They were meticulous about the quality of their work . They put in hardwood floors, built new walls and doorways, installed cabinets and new windows, added 12 feet to our garage, and put up with my changes. Without question, I would hire them again.

Just read contractor's explanation/justification (12-12-2016). True the offer was made to remove shower door in order to repair caulk free of charge. The subcontractor did improve cut on misaligned/misfit tile. Any correction beyond the superficial resulted in costs shifted to homeowner to fully correct the inattention to detail of shower base placement and tile alignment. Photos taken 12-12-2016 show current condition.

    Angel Handy Services Co
This was not our first experience with Angel Handy. Brian helped us with a number of projects when we moved in a few months ago.  We are repeat customers because his professionalism, friendliness, and thoroughness are over the top.  Brian works carefully and double checks to see that things are done right.  He even made a follow-up call to make sure everything was working correctly.
This last visit we had  Brian install a kitchen faucet.  The work went quickly and the new faucet works perfectly.  Installing a ceiling light fixture in the guest room was a snap. And hanging a large mirror over the mantle was only held up for a few minutes while Brian made sure his mounting hardware would hold the mirror safely.  Safety is a priority for Angel Handy.  The last project, installing a ceiling fan/light fixture, was more of a challenge.  First, the current ceiling electric box was not suitable for the fan.  Brian returned with the correct box and bracket assembly.  It was a tight squeeze in the attic, but the box was installed and ready for the fan.  We opened the box only to find there were missing pieces (thank you Home Depot).  We exchanged the fan and Brian came back to finish the job.  This time everything was in the box and the install went smoothly.  Even though it was not his fault, Brian refused to charge for having to make the extra trip.  Before he left the fan was running without the slightest wobble.....Nice.  We will definitely call Angel Handy for our next project, and highly recommend Brian for any home projects.

    SELIN CUSTOM KITCHENS
We had a horrible experience. They damaged the carpeting, and the bathtub. It is $4000 to replace the tub. I would not recommend them for anybody or anything. Something that was supposed to be done within 6 weeks, took 6 months. I am sick about it. I made my down payment thinking they were very reputable, and so I paid almost the whole thing off. I am very disgusted with them. From what I gather, there were other disgruntled people. At the time, I thought they were reputable people who will come and do a good job. They were very costly, and the little bit that they did was poor. They didn't finish the job, because I wouldn't let them in the house.Who they had hired to do the work, was not top grade, and one of their workers did the damage. I am having my carpet replaced shortly, because we cannot clean it properly. What they got into the carpet keeps reappearing. I talked to my daughter in real estate who said it was very highly priced. The quality of work was very poor. We wouldn't hear from them for weeks. They left us without a sink, without a toilet, it was really bad.

River Valley Kitchens & Baths Inc
I initially spoke to them at RO-RO in March. After seeing the reviews here on Angies List, I was anxious to get things started. I made an appointment and they came out for measurements and my ideas of what I would want in my bath/closet redo. I have called them about 3 times and left messages, but no one returns my calls. I even stopped by their location, but they gave me no acknowledgement, so I left. I guess I will spend my money with someone else.

Overall, it went well. There were some minor issues such as: we weren't able to put outlets in the master bath quite where we wanted them because we had niches in the shower in the way. The showed us where they could put the outlet and I agreed. Then they hung up the mirror which covered the outlet! Now, I know I should have figured this out beforehand also but they definitely should have looked at all of that and told us, if you have the niches where you have them, you can't have an outlet there and it will affect where the towel ring is hung, etc. The ceiling in the hall bath was plastered without the wall drywall being taped to the ceiling. The seam was taped and then the ceiling had to be re-textured. This was done by the plasterer who is not an employee of RVKand B but I don't understand why this happened. The kitchen was redone completely. When they re-do a bathroom, they strip it down to the studs but they don't do that to kitchens. I'm not sure why. So while I have new cupboards, tile backsplash, counters, floor and even the kitchen sink, they put the 25 year old outlets back in. I didn't think to ask if they replaced the outlets. I just think they should have at the very least asked us if we wanted them replaced. They could have added it to the quote then. What sold us on RVKand B was Lisa, the designer. We went in without an appointment and she sat down with us and redesigned our kitchen in about 30 minutes. We went to a couple of other places also but no one else was able to just sit down and whip out a design. One guy didn't want to see our pictures or the drawing my husband had made. Lisa really listened to everything we wanted and we are really pleased. Joe the tile guy is also wonderful. He gave great suggestions on tile placement and how the tile should be laid. We are happy with the design of the kitchen and master bath. The hall bath was not redesigned but was gutted and re-done. The quality of the cabinets, countertops (quartz) and everything else is excellent. We went with the all wood cabinet. About the only thing I might change is the outlet/niche locations in the master bath! We started the project at the end of October, 2012. It wasn't completed until mid-February, 2013. It took about a month more than what we were told it would. The owner was very responsive at the beginning of the project but not as responsive by the end of the project.

    Badger Pro Construction
Badger Pro completed a full kitchen and dining room remodel. Walls moved, new electrical, new plumbing, new floors! He introduced us to a custom cabinet maker. Coordination with subcontractors and inspectors was excellent. Always left a clean work space. So impressed with Tony and his team. Will use them again!

We are very happy we found Randy. He coordinated and worked with our cabinet/countertop provider as well as his sub-contractors and had our whole kitchen done from demolition to finished product in 3-1/2 weeks. We were amazed at how smooth everything went. Both my wife and I work full-time, and we felt comfortable letting Randy and his crew come and go as needed without us being there. We had no problems at all, it was fun to come home each night and see the progress. I would recommend Randy without hesitation.

    Benson Stone Co
Between Benson and my General Contractor, my whole Kitchen from demolition of the old kitchen to my new kitchen was 3-1/2 weeks. Everything happened on time and without surprises. It was a truly amazing process to watch. My decision to go with a local company (Benson) and a local contractor was the best decision I made. I didn't go to Benson at first because of my perception that they were expensive. The contractor I found suggested that I look there and I was happy I did. The have solutions for every price range. What we got was right in-line with pricing we had from Home Depot and I feel we got a better product.
