ABenson Stone CoTamara was extremely helpful in finding a fixture that was to our tastes and recommending the proper size for our space and the correct type of bulbs for the effect we wanted. When it appeared that what we wanted was a combination of the fixtures we saw in the store, she searched for a fixture that was exactly that combination and emailed us several options. When we chose the one we wanted, she met the online price. Benson Stone Co. provided all of the assistance that online shopping doesn't, and at a comparable price. ABeyer Builders IncThis is the 3rd project that we have had Beyer Builders do for us and as before they did an excellent job. They are personable and communicate very well, and do a good job overseeing any sub-contractors that they use. They made excellent recommendations on where to go for flooring and tile, cabinets and vanity, etc. They also installed some of the bathroom fixtures we acquired and did quality work with good follow-up. We are pleased to have a good local contractor to use in our home repairs.- Andy S.

FKirt Johnson ConstructionWe hired Kirt Johnson for remodel of our basement on 9/18/2020 and gave him a 50% deposit totaling $6685 for him to purchase materials that included framing, drywall, electrical, drop ceiling tiles, and lifeproof vinyl flooring. We were told by Kirt that the basement remodel would be starting the next week, as he had guys ready to work. We also gave Kirt a deposit totaling $10340 on 10/25/2020 for replacement of siding for our entire home (insurance money from Liberty Mutual for tornado damage). There has been delay after delay and always an excuse from Kirt regarding why the work isn't being done. We have been asking for receipts or invoices to prove materials have been purchased for over one month and he has been unable to provide these, stating he has so many receipts he is unable to keep track of them all. As of today, 12/1/2020 no work has been started on the siding or basement and no materials have ever arrived to our residence. He told us that he purchased siding from 2 separate Menards, however, we called every Menards and Home Depot in our area to check on the order status, and found no orders purchased under his name or our name/phone numbers (including materials for flooring, framing materials, or drywall). Every day he states that there has been a delay in the delivery, promising it will arrive the next day which it never does. We believe that he took over $17,000 dollars of our money and we have nothing to show for it. Despite repeatedly asking where materials were purchased, for any receipts, invoices, or order numbers we have not received any of these. We also asked for the name of the electrician that was supposed to begin work week after week, always with a delay/excuse, but he is unable to also provide this. We also offered to pay for materials already purchased if receipts were provided, but they have not been. We have no idea where this money has gone and have repeatedly asked for our money to be returned which he has not provided. This business is fraudulent. DO NOT HIRE!!!- sarah b.

AScuba Steve Premier Handyman and Remodeling ServicesWe had a few glitches such as deliveries of cabinets, and shower doors. Steve contacted the suppliers for me and handled the issues professionally and quickly while assuring me thing would be fine and still keeping the job moving forward. I so appreciated this so very much as Steve went above and beyond. He is very particular to detail and takes great pride in his work while working to stay within the original amount of the estimated cost and time frame of my remodel. AScuba Steve Premier Handyman and Remodeling ServicesVery well Steve was hardly in the front door and he was checking the outside light discovered what was wrong and made his first repair with minutes. Then he saw the light switch in the kitchen was defective. Checked the new replacement light before going to the local hardware store for a replacement switch. Steve installed the switch and then installed the light/fan very promptly. I'm happy to say we have our handy man going forward.- Craig K.

ASteve was excellent in his straight forward manner and honesty in evaluating the job and providing a quote. He showed up early every day he was scheduled to work and accomplished the work he said he would do. And he did an excellent job. I added more to the job as it went and Steve was fair and direct in how he could do it, fitting it into his work schedule and providing a fair quote. I've kept his business card in case I want any future remodeling or repair work done - a direct, honest, and competent contractor is hard to find.
