AARMS Radon Mitigation Service IncAfter the inspection on our soon-to-be new home, it was clear we needed a radon mitigation system. After reading all the great reviews and speaking with Shannon, I was sold! Shannon was prompt with following up and returning calls/emails. They were also flexible with the install date and time. Wayne arrived promptly to install the system. He quickly assessed the best method and location to install the system and provided essential information help me make the best decision on location of the system. Overall, Wayne was very neat and left not a single speck of dirt. He was efficient with his time, answered any questions I had, and was extremely professional (and funny)! The quality of the work was amazing and he even suggested resources for low cost radon testing to check the levels after the install. I would defiantly recommend ARMS Radon & Mitigation system, they stand behind their work and their warranty is outstanding!- Jessica W.

AARMS Radon Mitigation Service IncI gave a call to ARMS because of the reviews I had already read. While there wasn't an immediate answer on the phone, I got a callback within a few hours. Wayne and his daughter are the only ones at the company, and were really easy to work with and make a plan for when the installation would take place. He showed up at 8AM, which is what he scheduled, and left the house at about 4:30PM, and I swear that the areas he was in were actually cleaner than they were when he arrived! He was very good with my very vocal 65lb dog as well. He sealed all of the foundation cracks in the house, and covered the sump pit all included in the price. Wayne is licensed with the state of IL to do these Radon Mitigations, so make sure you check on that with other vendors before you sign on. Some people will do the job very cheap but do not follow code to make sure the system is actually going to work and not allow water and other things to get into your house. I have not yet gotten my home retested, but I am very happy with the experience I had with ARMS.- Tom W.

JT was so responsive, he always awnsered my phonecalls or would return them promptly. He came far out of his way to our house in Sycamore on a Saturday to give us an estimate. He was honest, knowledgable, and I was very comfortable having him and his team in my home. I was worried about the repair because I was a brand new homeowner, two weeks away from my due date when the damage occured (I am a worry wort and I made him test for mold, and also for lead paint in our walls) He was so patient, and even went out of his way to help me work with my insurance company. I have high standards when it comes to customer service, and the whole crew at AdvantaClean far surpassed all of my expectations. CInitial phone call was very good and Wayne proved himself to be very knowledgeable by asking the right questions (location, sump pump, history, underfloor heating etc. etc.). I decided to go with him without other quotes as a result. We confirmed for a few days away and both agreed to take appropriate COVID precautions and he could access through the back door etc. - he wanted 7a but agreed to 9a per my push (I needed time to prepare, get the kids out of the way etc.). He sent me a reasonable estimate and I confirmed 9a again by email. On the day of, I got a missed call at 7a and heard comeone trying to come in my backdoor at 7a but it was locked. He texted sorry for the mix up and said he'd be back at 9a. I went outside and he had left both my locked alley gate wide open (Chicago alley) and my front gate open. He texted an hour later saying his partner was feeling sick and could they reschedule. Given that you need to trust a radon mitigation contractor to drill your slab, configure wiring, install vent access to the exterior, and ensure 100% quality to make sure your family isn't exposed to radon ... and also return to fix anything that goes wrong or if levels don't decrease, the combination of bad early indicators was enough for me to lose confidence. Wayne is clearly knowledgeable and gets good reviews otherwise so this might have been a fluke during these strange times, but I was not impressed by the lack of professionalism so pulled the plug on these guys and went another route.

ATom and Josh arrived on the day and time promised. They were both very polite, professional and worked extremely well together. They explained exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it! They installed the radon Mitigation system and went above and beyond expectations. They cleaned up after themselves.
