    Workman talked us through the problem and solutions as he took the freezer drawers out to show the ice buildup. Carefully thawed the chunk so nothing else was damaged. Told us various things that can cause this and to not wait too long after we hear sounds or ice can penetrate much worse. We called at a good time, so no damage or replacement parts. Efficient and quick in his repair. Less that an hour and all was good again. He was terrific and very informative. Cost us just the copay.

    It took over 2 weeks to get a technician scheduled and when I would call I was continuously told about all their other customers. After a week I finally got a supervisor who moved it up to a dispatch supervisor and then I had a fabulous technician come out immediately identify the problem and fix it quickly and efficiently!

    We have used G&M Appliance repair many times over the years. Bruce is knowledgeable and professional. Fixed our appliances every time. We would not use anyone else. On two occasions, Bruce walked us through some troubleshooting steps we could perform and on those times, the appliances did not need repair after all. Bruce could have just come out for a service call - and we would have paid for it. But instead he refused any compensation for his help. Great service.

    I bought this warranty when we moved into our new home. The inspection report said all mechanicals worked fine. A month after we moved in was the first time we went to use the oven. Smelled the house up like gas and took 45 minutes to heat up to 350 degrees. I called CHW and they decided this was a pre-existing problem which it was not. The declined to pay for the service call they were sending out. Declined TWICE!! So I contacted the BBB and Consumer Affairs about it and they finally agreed to cover the part. Thats when I read all of the terrible reviews for CHW and was rethinking my choice. This was a fluke that it had a problem the first time we tried to use it but you better believe they were quick to deny it and deny it after I appealed it. I wpnder how they get such a high rating when they are so close to getting a class action lawsuit brought against them for not paying customers claims. False advertising? False reviews? I dunno.

    Electronic Maytag dryer repair. Don's appliance arrived 2 days after first phone call. Service person was pleasant, extremely knowledgeable, repair was quick, price was very reasonable. Cost much less than I thought. Best in the area. Would definitely use again.

    It would be nice if your guys show up and answer your phone! Waited yesterday for your repair guy to show up only to find out, you reschedule the appointment without giving us a call. Last we checked, we are a customer! Schedule for today between 3:30 and 4 for the owner to come. Its almost 5pm, no show, no call and now no answer at your office. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Since our extended warranty works with you, we have no choice but the Rockford community needs to know how your customer service or lack of it really is from your company!

    This will be the fourth repair that we will have on our refrigerator I set up the appointment last week did the confirmation then two days later the appointment was canceled said that they were waiting on repairs even though there was no repairs to be made it was a diagnostic because this repair should qualify for the no lemon Exchange so I reschedule the appointment for today 11/4 and nobody showed up despite my calling Best Buy three times during the day to try to get an update and they just told me the same thing that they would be out between 8 and 5 and would call me when half an hour before they came out. Well they did not I took the day off of work to sit and wait and nobody showed up that's why I didn't even have the respect for my time to call me and say they weren't going to call me and when I called the 1 800 numbers in complain after they didn't come by there at 5 so this was yet another call into Best Buy zero empathy shown to me from the representative so I'm going to be on the 3rd appointment a refrigerator that's not been working for over a week and hours of my time wasted I want this fixed and actually I want the refrigerator replaced. Not only do I want the refrigerator replaced but I also want Best Buy gift cards in the amount of money I am now out due to not only missing work but sitting and waiting on the phone. My next step will be getting legal counsel.

    Quite happy with the service. My normal go-to appliance repair shop wasn't available for a few days. I tried three other shops before reaching Pehl's. Josh arrive during our scheduled appointment window, and called when he was on his way. Upon arrival, he explained what he was doing to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. After a few tries to resolve the issue without replacing an unnecessary part, he came to the conclusion that the board needed to be replaced. The local warehouse where most of the local shops use to get parts had one in stock. He advised he would get the part, complete a couple other service calls, and return later that evening to complete the repair. About 3-4 hours later, he called to let me know he had the part and was on his way back. The replacement part installation took maybe 15 minutes, the washing machine ran through its test cycles, and the repair was done. Josh was professional, courteous, delivered on his commitments, and cleaned up when he was done. I think I've found my new appliance repair go-to guy.
