    Jim Wilson, the owner, has always been helpful, considerate and dependable. The workmen have been courteous, punctual and professional. They worked carefully and left everything in perfect shape.     If it were possible, I would give Deerfield Roof Repair a grade lower than an F. Our experience initially started out positively. My father is visiting and he noticed this past Friday that there was a hole on our roof and called Deerfield Roof Repair for help. The person that he spoke with took the time to describe the history of the company and the type of work that they do. The company promised to get someone over that day around 4:00 pm to inspect the roof and provide an estimate. An employee named Tony then called my dad and said that he could get there earlier in the day, which was great. He met with my father, looked at the roof, and provided an estimate. He told my father that he would be able to come the next day (on a Saturday) around 8-9 am to take care of the work. I had other family coming into town to visit, so we were very grateful for Tony's offer to fix everything promptly. However, nobody from the company showed up the next day. I tried calling them multiple times throughout the morning (their website said that they were open from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturdays), but kept receiving an automated message saying that there was no voicemail set up. We waited for several hours in the hope that someone would come, and delayed our plans for the day by doing so. Given the attentiveness that my father received the day before, we were dismayed and very surprised that nobody at the company had the courtesy to call with any kind of explanation. Their office was closed on Sunday, and I called them the next day on Monday. The person who picked up the phone introduced himself as Troy, and I asked him if he was the owner of the business. He responded with a tone of voice that was curt and short: "What do you need?" I asked again if he was the owner, and received the same response. I then told him what had happened, expressed that I was very frustrated with the treatment that we had received, and asked for an explanation. Troy said that he would have to look into it as he didn't do the scheduling. I asked him again if he was the owner, and he then said that he was. He told me that he would call me back in 30 minutes, and I never heard back from him. His tone throughout the conversation was borderline rude and he definitely didn't express any sympathy or concern for what had happened. He didn't attempt to apologize for his company standing us up. This type of treatment is absolutely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Fortunately, there are many other roofing companies in the North Shore, and I would strongly encourage everyone to avoid Deerfield Roof Repair as it is a company that is unwilling and incapable of displaying professionalism and showing respect for their customers.

    We were looking for new siding, soffit and fascia for our home and Jim came out to give us a quote. We felt that he truly understood the scope of what we were looking for which we did not feel that the other contractors who gave us bids did. The pricing was extremely competitive and fair. We added a few custom details, stained wood ceiling over the porch and replacing the wrought iron porch support with a real post. They were able to handle those with ease as part of the project. The installation crew was very professional and courteous, answered all of our questions as they went along, were careful of all the plants in the yard and did a great job of cleaning up every day they were working here. You would be hard pressed to find this level of service from most other contractors. Thanks.

    Had this company out to fix a leak in my roof. Came out quickly and charged me $460 for the repair. In April I called them because the roof was leaking in the same place. They told me that I would have to pay for another service call and the repair. I explained to him that I paid them less than six months ago to repair the leak and I am still having the same issue. He said they do not warranty their repairs. Asked to speak to a manager. He called me back and said the same thing! I would not do business with this company or recommend them at all!

    Etruscan did an excellent job replacing the older part of our roof (a newer portion added on later did not need replacing yet). They also removed an old stovepipe chimney that was a true eyesore to the house. Their work was professional, efficient, of the best quality, delivered on time and finished in one day. Their clean up was meticulous - they swept and checked the entire surrounding of the house, air-blew the roof and gutters, and rechecked, hauling away all of the debris. The result is a much improved roof and very satisfied customers.

    These guys did a fantastic job -- more thorough than anyone I've used. Cleaned all panes of glass, the window sills, the screens, the coach lights --- everything and they really spent the time needed to make it look good. They also noticed that our gutters were full of leaves and debris, and so I had them add that to the total. Would absolutely hire them again. They came on time and were very professional.
