    Town & Country Services
The capacitor in the outside unit had failed. Tech had a replacement on his truck. Town & Country uses a flat rate pricing, so if they have to run and get a part or encounter some similar issue, the customer doesn't pay extra beyond the flat rate. I was charged $116 for the part plus $79 for the service call, total $195. I was satisfied.

Technician showed up about an hour and a half after I called, which was very prompt. He went about diagnosing the problem in about 15 minutes determine the blower needed to be replaced. Went down to his truck and wrote up a work order. I thought the price was pretty high for the work and part involved, but went ahead and did it. I did call the office later and ask for the manager or owner who called me back within an hour and explained to me their pricing structure. At the end of the day, I'm satisfied. You don't get the quality of service and responsiveness that I received and not pay a few extra bucks for it. As usual, you get what you pay for.

    FRITZ & ELMORE HEATING AIR
Joe was the service tech that came out he was very polite and conscientious about his work  when he arrived he introduced himself and asked for a tour of the house because he don't like just starting to poke around someone's house without some idea of what he is looking at he then explained the procedure that he would use to clean all the duct work.  He then unload and brought in his equipment and put on shoe covers to proct our floors.  While he got started on the spare room I went to other rooms and moved things out of the way to give him easier access to all registers. he was very careful in removing and reinstalling all register so as not to scratch any of them which was not an easy task whoever trimmed out this house cut the trim exceedingly tight to all the registers.  Joe was very conscience of any small amounts of dust or debry brought out of the registers by the machine and quickly cleaned it up.  After cleaning all the ductwork he went back to the furnace and give it a complete checkup including co2 check.  My only problem was he kept calling me sir so I was constantly looking over my shoulder for my father.  Very impressed with the work preformed by Joe and Matt who answers the phones has been really helpful Thanks Guys

    PHELPS ENERGY SVC INC
to talk it over with my wife I would get back to him in the mean time he was going to figure the replacement cost of a new furnace.  After talking to my wife we called another company in the area to get a second opinion they never called back. after 3 days I went down and started going over the furnace myself.  I found a safety switch that was not making contact.  I called Phelps to let them know they could come and finish the test to see if the furnace was safe to use.  They returned on the 26th to complete the work I was working in my shop and told them to go ahead and go in and do the work they would have to turn the thermostat on and relit the pilot as I had them both off.  After a little while they came out to get me with a problem I went down to see he showed me the furnance was back drafting and he did not know why must be a chimney problem.  We talked a few minutes and it was decided that he would come back after I could get the chimney fixed but the best solution was a new furnace  Later in the day when I went back into the house I noticed the whole house fan was on then I realized that was the chimney problem..  I shut off the fan and went down and checked the chimney for draw it was now drawing fine.  Whoever turned the thermostat to the on position should have noticed as the fan is within 6 feet of the thermostat location.  I called them once again and told them what I found.  I was questioned as to if I really belived that could be the cause of the problem. I was quite sure think about how much air a 36 inch fan running at 1725 rpms  how much suction this creates I know the speed as I recently had to replace the belt on the fan.  plus the flue draw test proved that made the difference.  ZI was informed that they would be back this week to complete the fall safety check have heard nothing Apparently no sale no service

    Ron Schafer Service and Repair
Our furnace went out during the day. We called Ron about 4 pm and he was here within an hour. The gas valve had gone bad on our furnace. Ron had one on his truck and immediately replaced the valve and got the furnace running again. He was only here about 45 minutes. We were very impressed with his timely arrival and ability to diagnose the problem and then fix it. The price was also very good. The majority of the cost was the part he replaced.

They did exactly what was stated in the estimate and the furnace installed was highly rated in reviews.
The furnace was located in the kitchen. It made a terrible mess but they laid tarps and cleaned it all up before they left. There was a problem with the way they did the electrical but they came back on their own and fixed it.
