ADESIGNfirst Builders LLCDESIGNfirst did a great job designing a new open concept kitchen and dining room along with a bathroom remodel. Our outdated kitchen and dining room were due for an overhaul. The design process was very professional and they were able to make revisions to meet our price range. The lead designer, Danielle came up with the innovative idea to We closed on financing and everything went into lock down literally the next day in March 2020. DESIGNfirst was able to guide us through material selection via videoconference and was very flexible in sending multiple samples to our door due to the pandemic. Demo started May 10 2020 and the work was completed late July on time and within budget. Could not be happier with the project manager Gary and the construction crew that made it happen each week. They were very attentive and professional following up on minor details and able to work around some minor kitchen faucet and tub shipment delays due to the pandemic. The remodel looks great and we look forward to enjoying the kitchen and dining room for years to come. Thank You DESIGNfirst!- Jim O.

AE & B Masonry & Porch Construction, Inc.Mike, Eddie, and their team were great. From the beginning communication was easy and Mike was easy to get ahold of when we had questions regarding materials and details in the estimate he sent us. We actually had them quote us a few years back, but had to hold off on the work due to multiple home repairs. They gave us a new estimate, for a small increase, which I really respected given the 4 years that had passed and the amount of work they had on their schedule. We had a couple of other companies come out and quote us and E & B gave us a middle ground price, but with plenty of detail to back it up. We ended up deciding to do composite deck floorboards with a wood railing. After they began demo my husband realized that even though we had planned to hold off on having our back sidewalk re-poured to slope away from the house it wouldn't be possible since two of the staircase footers would have to sit on top of it. We asked if they could add give us an estimate on one sidewalk from the back of the house to the alley. After some back and forth on the height and slope of the sidewalk, they got started on that the next day. We also decided that we might as well replace our sliding door that has been giving us issues and Eddie ordered that immediately for us. Everyone was respectful about our space, worked hard, and whenever we had questions they stopped work until we had it resolved. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure to come back to finish up a few minor details. They also came back two weeks later when the sliding door wouldn't lock. They didn't leave us hanging after the majority/all of the job was done, which had happened to us once before. I trust them enough to work with them again when we're ready to tackle the next thing on our bungalow fix-it list.- Nichole S.

ATriangle Classic Homes IncCarl and Ralph helped us design our dream home in Chatham County. The owner assisted us through the entire process beginning with financing, design, engineering, and construction. He was attentive to our needs throughout the entire process and was very patient with all of our questions. There was never a change order and they completed the project 30 days early. AAdvance Remodeling CorpWe hired Stan to remove a dated stone fireplace and replace it with built-in bookshelves and a more modern fireplace surround. Stan was incredibly patient, responsive and knowledgeable during the entire process. He had great suggestions that we hadn’t even thought of and the project turned out beautifully. AYour Choice Construction, LLCJeff remodeled our kitchen this past October and we are very pleased! First of all, he was very helpful in recommending cabinet, countertop, tile and flooring showrooms. Shopping for all of that can truly be a daunting task. Then the work he did was amazing! He thinks of everything and comes up with a solution that works when needed. The tech that installed our new dishwasher complimented the plumbing work he did. Also the tech who installed the microwave said our contractor did a really great job installing the cabinets. So not only does it look great to us, but it’s done right to where two separate techs on two separate occasions made mention of the great work he did. I love my new kitchen! I would hire Jeff again if I ever need a contractor for anything. It’s great to know a contractor who takes pride in his work!- Barb D.

DThey were late 30 min late two days an hour late one day. Sink & toilet okay so far. Drilled hole in wall trying to install lighting; never put up cabinet; lousy unfinished painting on walls/ceiling & cabinet. Jesus, owner attempted to complete bad job of workers but last day 45 min late I just told him to leave, I'd find someone else to complete project. Not professional work.

AGreat! This review is long overdue. Marc was fair with his price and very meticulous with plans. We hired him after many interviews with other architects in 2014. Always was available as building was in process to address problems that arose with our builders. He also solved the problem of our garage flooding when we had a hard rain. Think of him often because he saved us tons of money and headaches! He went above and beyond the call of duty.

AAM Kitchen and Bath have done outstanding work at my house over the past year. I hired them to do a full bathroom remodel, which required gutting the small space down to the studs; to do a complete reroof of my house after the old roof began to leak; and, most recently, to put my once-finished basement back together after a drain tile installation had torn it apart, adding a half bath and increased storage down there while they were at it. The bathroom remodel included custom cabinetry, and both bathrooms included extensive tile work, both of which impress everyone who has seen the work. You can see pictures of my bathroom on their website (subway tile bathroom). My house is almost a hundred years old, and we uncovered some major plumbing issues during these projects (vent stack and sewer main), which Adam’s crew successfully resolved. In addition to adding a half bath to my basement, we put back all the wallboard, exchanged all the doors (8 of them) for nicer ones and put all new hardware on them, added lots of wooden storage shelving in my utility room, installed luxury vinyl flooring, and repaired a broken water pipe and a sewer main. There was so much more, but those items were the biggies. The cost of service is for the basement project. Adam and crew are great to work with. They are respectful, friendly, and responsive. Adam always has ideas on how to solve any problem that may arise (no remodeling project is problem-free), and he has always willingly accommodated any changes I have requested mid-project and done other small miscellaneous add-ones. I highly recommed AM Kitchen and Bath, and will not hesitate to hire them for my future projects.

I put my customers first & sometimes my wife thinks I do to. All my customers can be contacted for referals. I have not advertised in a long time I relie on referals mainly. Any job I do is not complete until the homeowner/owner is happy. I am a father & grandfather at age 54.

It was an excellent experience but the thing that stood out the most was their ability to creatively problem solve on the spot. We could not be happier and would recommend Jim and his team to anyone.
