Garage Door Repair And Installation reviews in Peoria

I wanted to share my experience with this company. I had my garage door spring snap and contacted this company early on this Monday morning. The person that answered my call treated me very well over the phone and i was also impressed with her knowledge of both the product line that they offered and the service aspect. Her name was Lindsey. She reflects well how the company treats their customers. Withing two hours she had the service man at my residence to install new springs. His name was Terry Camp and he was also kind and didn't rush to install the springs but instead did it the correct way and made sure that the end result was a quality install. I am very picky about doing things right the first time and this man did just that along with making sure that I felt valued as a customer. I researched pricing on the install before I contacted this company and the price that I was charged was right in line to the penny for the service and quality parts they installed. Thank you Lindsey and Terry for the excellent customer service you offered me today. You have a lifelong customer and I plan to recommend your company to others in need of your service.

The spring on my garage door broke in the evening. I called early the next morning and they scheduled the work that afternoon. After replacing both springs, he adjusted the chain and lubricated all flange wheels. He also inspected the entire door. Very fast, excellent work. Will use again and recommend highly.

Perfect and on time. Confirmed charges ahead of the work, completed work on time, explained what parts failed, explained why he is using new parts & warranty. Verified that everything with the garage worked smoothly before signing off on the job.

Said it wasn't worth repairing, but had I been able to climb a ladder, I probably would have repaired it myself. Without being able to climb, I agreed to installing a completely new mechanism and wireless remotes. It took the service guy quite a bit longer than he originally estimated, but he held to the original estimate/quoted price. Got new remotes, and an automatic electric eye for anything blocking the door to cause a reversal of direction.

Very well, repairman said cables leading up to torsion spring came unwound off of spools because of an adjustment problem...repairman performed every thing needed to make torsion spring assembly, and power door opener perform like a new installation. He lubricated it and made the corrective adjustments. I got a very safe and dependable door now. It was a poorly adjusted and very noisy door before.

    Greg's Garage Door Service Inc
Same day service.  Top quality products.  Garage door opens great now.  Nice installers.  A+
I called Greg at 8:30am on Friday to replace my old worn down (1970s) garage door opener.  Greg said he'd do his best to fit me in that same day if he could.  My entire garage door system was screwed up.  Either the prior owner or an inexperienced garage door tech located the torsion spring up by the opener instead of above the door where it's usually located.  Greg called me at 3:30pm and said he would be there in 20 minutes.  Greg and Joe showed up on time and promptly installed the new opener (not an easy task since it was a really tight fit in my 1930s garage).  Then I asked him about the spring system since the system kept making a loud popping sound every time the door opened and the wires were running all the way from the bottom of the door up to the top of the door and then back to the opener and were rubbing on heating ducts and all other sorts of things.  Despite the fact that it was no 5:00pm on Friday, Greg and Joe agreed to put a new torsion bar above the door and made a few modifications so that the spring would work in my small garage and not interfere with the safety sensors at the bottom.  They finished up at 6:00pm on a Friday...that's top quality service right there.
The garage door opens great now.  Much quieter and smoother now.  The installers were very qualified and very professional and nice.  The price was very reasonable (be wary of garage door opener companies that are dirt cheap...you get what you pay for when it comes to roofing and garage door companies).  Same day service....stayed and did extra work with a smile until 6:00pm on a Friday.  I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

Tech did the following: replaced the cables and a roller, and then serviced it. One of the cables was frayed. Also tightened the chain.
The door operates much better than before, however it still jerks a little bit going up and down. The tech said that the opener is nearing the end of life, as it was installed in 1996. I might have entertained just having it replaced if I was home at the time, but I was at work and my wife was home during the repair. I'm not sure how much time I bought for $200, but will definitely plan on replacing it the next time it acts up.

Called them on March 29 and he looked at the door and gave us 2 options and when we decided to replace the old door they came bright and early the next day and put up the new door.  Took them less than 1/2 day.  Very please with the completed job,

They got here on time but played loud music in my garage all day. One of them broke a window on his truck and almost left without cleaning up the glass. He did clean it up when asked. They doors are great and everything was finished in less than six hours.
