AACHTERBERG FLOORSWe've had Achterberg Floors restore our floors twice. When we first moved here, 25 years ago we had water damage. He repaired our factory finished hardwood. His work was amazing!!!!!! The floors were beautiful. After removing the baked on finish, I was amazed at the beautiful grain we were now able to see!!!! Recently, he and Heathe came in and updated our 25 years of worn floors. There vas no dust while sanding!!!! They were very careful with my furnishings and very meticulous about their efforts to give us absolutely beautiful floors! I definitely give them an A+++ for the quality work they do! After finishing our hardwood, they tackled all our floors upstairs. They did a wonderful job of putting down a Floating(?) wood looking vinyl floor. Everything was cut to fit just perfectly. ACalef's CleaningCalef's Cleaning was absolutely fantastic. The crew came and got right to work, worked very hard and did an amazing job cleaning the floors and carpets, dusting and wiping down all surfaces taking great care with all things on the shelves, and were able to remove very stubborn calcification to make the shower and sinks sparkle like new. Although it didn’t fix my biggest issue - a smelly dryer, which I didn’t really expect to resolve - my drying times are much shorter. He also gave me several suggestions re: the odor. FMolly Maid of PeoriaWe hired Molly Maid to clean our house before we moved in and even signed up for their move-in cleaning service. They were going to get everything clean before we moved in as the previous family had pets and multiple kids. So we had them come clean the day we closed on the house. This way they could clean while the house was empty and then we would move in the next day with a fresh start. Unfortunately, we arrived to find a card from Molly Maid saying they had cleaned the house. But as we looked around, we could see dust and dog hair clumps on the hardwood floor, dust on the vents, ceiling fans, lights, mantle and baseboards. The the countertops and cabinets had a sticky residue on them. The windows were full of fingerprints and the appliances had not been cleaned, as there was buildup in the stove, gunk in the fridge and lint on the top of the dryer. (I included a picture of what my steam mop picked up off of the hardwood floor they had supposedly cleaned). As we looked around, we could not figure out what if anything they had actually cleaned. We ended up calling them that day and they came back out but just proceeded to argue with us and come up with excuses. On the second trip they did do some dusting but did not address the windows, appliances, countertops/cabinets/baseboards or the floor. They left as we could not make any headway with getting through to them and they were just making us even more upset. They then proceeded to take our money from our checking account without resolving the issues or offering a reduced rate for all of the cleaning they failed to do and left us stuck with doing. I ended up spending the rest of the day cleaning the floors, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning the cabinets, countertops and windows rather than moving in as planned. I would never hire them again.- Nathan P.

ASteam Green Carpet CleaningI think they were very good. At first I was a little disappointed with the information given to me by the person over the phone. I just wasn't given much information but when I complained about the service I all of a sudden received very good communication from them. It was possibly just the first rep who I dealt with over the phone. They did come back yesterday to finish anything that wasn't done correctly which I'm satisfied with now.- Carol B.

ADan Dan the Carpet ManIt went great the carpets look like brand new. The person who did them was very professional and very knowledgeable of what he was doing and did a great job. FThe people who came to do the work, was awesome. Some items were delivered a day early. But the rest wasn't delivered until a different day. So the guy who was supposed to put it together, couldn't. The first guy only finished the coffee table, because someone else was supposed to do the other items that I already had. Why would they send someone else, if it could've been done at one? The next guy comes and he started to put the fireplace tv stand together, then he realized he was supposed to put the end tables together, not the fireplace. So I called Wayfair and they told him to do it all, since he already started. Not the Pro's fault, he wouldn't have left me. They guys were fine, no issues with them specifically.

AExcellent. I've owned my home for five years and never had the system looked at by a professional. The guys went through everything and recommended changing out a couple of capacitors. Both were 20 years old, and one of them was in visibly terrible condition. Absolutely the right recommendation. Price was fair, work was professionally done, arrived on time, great communication. Nothing but good to report all the way around. Will definitely call them for any issues that come up.

ADylan was polite, quick, quiet (no blaring radio), and I think only took one break for a job that lasted about 5 hours. He used a liquid solution, a pole with a rag, a folding ladder, and a window mop and squeegee. The windows are beautiful. We will have him return as needed.
