    Anix Inc
Joe did a great job. We love the garage and the service we received. Most things were handled by Joe, with only a few things contracted out. Joe supervised even the work that was contracted out. This was an unusual job, requiring a change in the original foundation of our home. Joe was always available to give suggestions and ways to work around constraints of the village to complete the project to our satisfaction. Additionally, we needed some things done that were not in the original plans. Joe worked with us, the architect, and the village zoning board to get everything approved and finished in the shortest amount of time possible. We were especially pleased as Joe built with standards surpassing the village requirements, in a number of areas. He also returned several times after the project was finished to fix little things - even a couple of things that were damaged by others after the project was completed. I would definitely recommend Anix to family and friends looking for a full-service contractor.

    Renewal By Andersen
Initial sales side was difficult getting accurate information on the install details and the process was eventually taken over by a sales manger who was very helpful. The contract side of the process was simply unacceptable. They have a lengthy agreement which can't be modified, so its basically TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. There was at least a dozen times in the conversation related to contract terms where the sales people agreed the terms were invalid/not applicable, etc., but it was basically a "trust me" response, because we are not allowed to modify the agreement. The installation overall went pretty well. Very knowledgeable lead installer and good crew. Quality work and happy with product and end result. A bit too much reliance on rolled coil materials and sealant, but overall achieved the desired outcome.

    Albar Products Inc
First, Albar was bought by Murphy's Windows and no longer exists. After the initial visit to review the project never received a proposal. Spoke to the office 4 times over a period of 2-1/2 weeks, each time being told either 1) the proposal was ready and would be sent same day or 2) not sure why I didn't receive and would check and get back to me, neither of which ever happened. Did get a call late into this from Jimmy who was very apologetic, and said proposal would be sent same day but again never received anything from them so finally moved on to another contractor.

    J & K Home Improvements & Restoration
Very disappointed that they are not interested in repair jobs. After reading the good reviews, I was hoping that I could hire one company to replace some shingles and repair a leaking window but I was told that they only do new installations and take care of previous customers.

    Masters Kitchen & Bath
We were very satisfied with our complete kitchen and bath gut rehab and remodel. It was important for us to find a local company that would be the designer, project manager, and submit all of our city permits on our behalf. While we had ideas, we wanted professionals. Also, we wanted the tv type design 3D experience as well as a warranty on the labor and materials. Weve used a number of contractors on our 100 year old colonial home, and finally, Masters was the perfect design-builder for us. If you want a helpful, honest and positive review, please read on. We found Masters through Angies list, which offered a slight discount. They responded to our inquiry, and Marc came out to meet us and see our kitchen. Marc showed us other projects on his ipad, and said we would get so much more space with new cabinets while keeping the original footprint of the kitchen (which was our goal). Marc was open to our suggestions but also offered his professional opinion and reasons why some of our suggestions might not be ideal. Within two weeks, Marc invited us to the showroom to see the design, see samples and to talk through the project timeline and cost. The design was what we asked for but, we decided when we got home, it wasnt what we wanted. So, Marc graciously came back to our house to listen to more ideas. The new design was completed in less than 2 weeks, and we were very happy with the design. The designer at Masters was able to make adjustments on the spot using his 3d design software until the kitchen was perfect. We shook hands and agreed on the design. Mark informed us that the once a contact was signed for the agreed upon price, there wouldnt be additional cost for unforeseen issues that might come up throughout the project. For example, if existing piping burst when working on the plumbing and needed to be replaced, Masters wouldnt charge us for the labor or materials. This actually happened during the project, and they didnt charge us a dime. The overall cost estimate was above other estimates we received. But the other estimates couldnt guarantee they wouldnt charge more if they ran into unforeseen issues. We appreciated the conservative approach to their quoting. We also liked their 5 year warranty on both materials and labor (which we couldn't find elsewhere). After the project started, we decided to replace 2 windows and the kitchen entry door. Masters was very professional and quoted us for the additional labor. We worked with a 3rd party to order the windows and doors, and Masters installed them beautifully. We were able to select all materials in Masters showroom with assistance from Marc and the designer. They had a large selection of cabinets, countertops and tiles. We also selected our faucet there and couldnt be more happy with it (Its lead free and very stylish). We also selected our farmhouse sink from the showroom display. Its the centerpiece of our kitchen. They gave us the info we needed to select our appliances at ABT. Based on the design, Marc said wed need to pick out a counter depth fridge that is 33 in wide. ABT had exactly 2 options, which we werent excited about. But luckily, we went went the Samsung one and now really like it. ABT also beat Home Depot prices and upped their 4 year warranty to 5 year to match the Home Depot warranty and price. We are very happy with the Cabinetry. But, there were a few hiccups with the order. We got the wrong glass, which was replaced in good time. There were also limitations to the interiors because of our cabinet sizes, which caused some anxiety after installation. There was also different conversations and estimates made on the crown molding, and we were surprised by the final cost. That said, we are happy with the final product, and it was the right decision to go with crown molding in the entire kitchen. Our project was a one man job which at first was surprising to us but he surpassed all expectations and then some. The demo was completed in a short time with a week notice and minimal disturbance to the house. They used a barrier to keep dust to a minimum. Shasho was absolutely amazing. He constructed our kitchen, scheduled the inspections and was very detailed in all that he did. We could not be happier with his service, management and workmanship. He used his best judgement for the project and we were very happy with the decisions he made. We felt very comfortable with him in our home! The Kitchen was completed within the proposed timeline. We were absent form the house for most of the project. Our bathroom took about 3 weeks over their initial window because Shasho was scheduled for another kitchen. The third party flooring company (contracted by Masters) finished the floor with noticeable tape marks. Both we and masters were not satisfied, so the floor was redone. This delayed our completion by about a week. Overall, we are very happy with our kitchen. Our friends, family and agent cannot say enough about it. Weve actually heard this is the most beautiful kitchen Ive ever seen Thank you Masters, you did a great job!

    Power Home Remodeling
Replacement of my large front picture window was done first with a window installment crew. The workmen were professional, conscientious and very neat and addressed any concerns. A couple hours later a different crew came for the gutters and downspouts. One of the gentleman walked around the property with addressing concerns I had and assured me that everything would be fine. The gutters and downspouts look beautiful. I like the fact that they put in 6 inch gutters and 4 x 3 downspouts. They should handle the flow quite nicely. It has been a pleasure to work with every single member of this company that I have met so far. I like the fact that in the beginning they require no money down. Payment is due upon completion and satisfaction of project . They offer An incredible warranty on their products for 50 years with no proration and the warranties are transferable to new owners if you sell. I highly recommend this company as well as the products that they provide. Im looking into having roof replacement next.

    Lifetime Windows, Sidings, and Doors
Gus really stood out from the rest of the folks we interviewed. A few of our neighbors used Gus and they strongly recommended him. My husband and I really felt comfortable with Lifetime because of the great warranty and how detailed Gus was with every aspect of the project. He was very proactive and responsive. He also listened to us and made sure the budget fit with our needs and vision.

    Alliance Roofing & Exterior, LLC
I was very satisfied with the entire process of the repair. I chose John Cavanaugh of alliance roofing, quite frankly, because he was the antithesis of the half dozen other guys who knocked on my door after the hailstorm. None of the high pressure hard sell spiel the other guys were throwing at me. He seemed more like an old friend who just wanted to help. John dealt with every facet of the process and made a potentially stressful situation completely painless.

    Regency Home Remodeling
We couldnt be happier with the work done by Regency on our first family home. We needed a major kitchen remodel and some other related electrical and plumbing work. We were overwhelmed with where and how to begin. I had a good feeling about Regency from the first phone call to ask for an initial estimate. I spoke with someone immediately (PJ) and he was not only friendly but set us up for an initial meeting with Bruce as soon as possible. Bruce walked us through our options and was refreshingly upfront about costs and honest about what was needed and what was optional. We had an old oddly shaped kitchen and Bruce and the kitchen designer Iwona came up with designs that maximized use of the space while keeping things open and inviting. Seriously I love everything from the lighting, the newly framed window with sink and pendant light, to the cabinets with space saving ideas that I would have never thought of. Bruce helped us navigate what to look at with the venders and how to stay within our budget. When it came time for work to start, the team was FANTASTIC, especially Greg. Everyone was polite and extremely detail oriented with their work. Even the inspectors complemented the work during inspection. Thats another reason that were so happy with Regency. They do the work correctly, to code, and you dont need to stress about it later. We have been so pleased with the kitchen work that were about to have Regency remodel the laundry room. So, Regency is solid enough that were already repeat customers.
