ABudget Right HandymanMy technician, Elvis, did an outstanding job with a high degree of professionalism and skill. He was great at talking through the scope of work, providing updates, and offering beneficial consultation. Elvis was very respectful in the way he approached conversations and in his attentiveness to ensuring the areas of my home where the work was being performed were protected and cleaned/organized during and upon job completion. I am truly amazed at all he accomplished on my very long 'list' and appreciative that he did the work with a level of detail and care as he would if it were his own home. That is really hard to find. I have been a customer of Budget Right for many years. I also greatly appreciate the responsiveness, flexibility and focus on customer satisfaction consistently provided by the staff. The lower rating on Price is due to the increases over time and varied work efficiency to complete the job across technicians. As a matter of practice, the office will match their best technician to the scope of work, but if you can't wait for that appointment date, you may get someone who isn't as experienced. The other way to save is to pre-purchase materials needed, to avoid the technician having to spend time at Home Depot or elsewhere. Budget Right is my go-to for jobs big and small for my home and rental property. I highly recommend them.- EILEEN B.

ASilver Hammer ConstructionRobert and his team were excellent. I had a long list of various things that needed attention, from replacing electrical outlets to repairing rotted cedar fence posts. Called Robert and was able to talk with him right away. Sent him over a list and he got back to me with a pretty detailed---and very reasonable---quote. Everybody on his team was knowledgable and did great work. We've already scheduled the next round and will certainly use Silver Hammer more often going forward.- Jeff O.

ASimply Custom BlindsThey have a great selection of Hunter Douglas, purchased the Edinburgh 801 - Historical Castle motorized. Greg Was help full in going through everything and options to make our purchase great, wasn't pushy at all on trying to sell us more stuff. Blinds took a little longer because of the holidays and was we'll worth the wait! We live in a high rise with a shared dinning/living room and only decided to do the living room side for now, going to be getting the dinning room done shortly. Blinds look great in this space and completely flow with everything!- Ron C.

Lowell is always patient and helpful especially when I can't make up my mind and need honest feedback. Whatever type of window treatment you're looking for, the Drapery Center will have what you want. Over the years, I've purchased custom made draperies, sheers, valances, cornices, roman pullups, and cellular shades. Whatever you order, the price will be reasonable and your window treatments will look fantastic. Bill arrived promptly for my estimate, listened to what type of fabrics I was looking for and brought samples I liked on the first visit. The time from order to install was just over three weeks, with COVID this is a great turn around time. 12 blinds and a slider were installed in just 2 1/2 hours. Evan did an amazing job. AThese guys are the best! From the initial consultation all the way through to the end of the project, we felt well taken care of. We had consultations with other contractors, but we were impressed with Dirk’s no pressure approach to the project. We were given several design options to choose from with varying prices. Throughout the whole process, each step of the way was discussed. Given we only have one bathroom, they went out of their way to make sure we had a working toilet for as long as possible. Dan and his crew were very respectful of our space and time. They also made some really great suggestions along the way that made a huge impact on the end result. In the end, we were so happy with the work they had done, we immediately hired them again to renovate a bathroom in our investment condo. I would highly recommend these guys for your kitchen and bath project!

Eric was an excellent communicator as we awaited the COVID influenced delay in the window delivery. His team does excellent work, pays much attention to the details and leaves everything so clean!
