    ARC Physical Therapy - Chicago-OHare
First, the office is incredibly wonderful. Meg, the local office manager, is very friendly, very helpful, and makes you feel at ease so that you want to keep coming back whether it is your first time or your twenty-first time. Meg arranges your appointments for you. The office is within a health club which is very clean, and the bathrooms are immaculate.
I believe that the office is still having free evaluations for potential patients that would have a physical problem requiring physical therapy. One can call for an appt. This is great because you can get an idea of the analysis of your problem (not medical, but from a physical therapy point of view). After that, you would need a prescription from your doctor stating your problem and that physical therapy is required, and for how many times per week, and total number of treatments.
My physical therapy visits with Amy went extremely well. She is a master at the technique of strain-counterstrain. She remains with you the entire time of your treatment, and it is extremely individualized and personal care. Except for another ARC location, I don't believe that you can find this type of individualized, personal, compassionate, hands-on, and very effective treatment anywhere. My understanding is that this type of physical therapy can be done on any other part of the body that normal physical therapy can be done- such as shoulder, arm, ribs, hand, foot, leg, thigh, knee, and etc.
I have had neck and back problems for years, and I believe that physical therapy by Amy at ARC OHare (near Park Ridge) is A+++++!!! I can't imagine having pain and not coming to Amy for physical therapy. Thank You, Amy and Meg for all you have done for me. You are the best!!!

    Pilates Central
I liked her personally especially her bedside manner.  She is very patient and is a good listener.  She was always coming up with new things to try until one of them finally worked.  She was pretty much always on time. I however had to wait a few minutes on a couple of occasions but it was rare.  They were pretty patient while doing the billing especially since it had to go through medicare and moreover they had never done a medicare billing before.  I offered to pay her but she did not take a dime from me saying that she would get the medicare right which she did in about six months.  I even offered to pay any difference but she did not agree saying there would not be any difference.

On my last appointment I felt like I was put on a treadmill just to take up time so I could be charged for an appointment. I never went back
