Selvin was not the least expensive option we considered, but he charges a fair price and honors his word. Most importantly, he and his team did an exceptional job with our project. They delivered high-quality craftsmanship on every facet of the engagement. Selvin's landscape designer, Alann, was a joy to work with and listened intently to our vision for our new back yard. Watching his design come to life has been breathtaking. Selvin's foreman, Mauricio, consulted us on major decisions, communicated effectively and was courteous and friendly, as was the rest of his team. Rarely did a day of construction complete without a visit from Selvin himself (which is impressive given that our large project took multiple weeks to complete). We've hired several contractors since purchasing our home in Elmhurst, and our experience with Selvin and his team tops the list. I highly recommend him for landscaping and hardscaping. It's clear that he takes great pride in delivering quality outdoor work. I will update my review with photos of the front yard and porch in spring.- Chris J.

APoul's LandscapingPoul’s Landscaping is a professional and reputable landscaping company with high-quality standards. Jeff Anderson has been my main contact whilst working with this company and he has been great. He is personable, responsive, helpful and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise on plant care. Poul’s have recently renovated our front lawn which involved digging up the whole of the lawn and removing a huge amount of builder’s rubble from underneath. The rubble was so close to the surface and with such little soil, it was proving impossible to grow grass. The crew arrived promptly each day and were polite and respectful of our property. They worked extremely hard at removing all of the construction debris which was no easy task. A large quantity of top-quality soil was put down and then the new sod was laid, watered-in and leveled with a lawn roller. Unfortunately, a number of sod strips were damaged throughout this process and needed to be replaced but Poul’s came back to replace these the following week and it is now looking fantastic. Thanks to Poul’s, we eventually have a front lawn to be proud of.- Diana & Nicholas O.

AJuan was a pleasure to work with. They did exactly what he said they would do. This was a $15k project. I interviewed several contractors before selecting J&P Brothers Landscaping. I felt comfortable after speaking with Juan and discussing the project. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive, but the quality of the work is obvious with the finished product. Juan or his brother were on site everyday. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend them.
