    Lupfer Builders
Lupfer Builders was great to work with. I had Dave out on a Friday for a quote and he was able to start the work that Monday. It took about 2 weeks to finish the project and there were days that we were not able to be home when the worker was at our home. But, Lupfer Builders is very trustworthy and we felt comfortable leaving the worker in our home by himself which helped us immensely with scheduling. The work they completed was excellent quality - they even built a closet around our sump pump which another contractor who quoted us did not even suggest or include in the quote. Even with that closet, the work still cost us less than what we had been quoted by other contractors and like I said, was high quality. I would definitely recommend Lupfer Builders.

    Mordini General Contracting
I am retired after 46 years being a consulting engineer in the construction industry and found Tom Mordini to be a stickler for details and quality of workmanship far above the standards in this field. He was most affable in his personal conduct and on time as to construction time lines. Highly recommend his firm for any general contracting work. He does have a gift of gab with some interesting tales of his life and work anecdotes. Most enjoyable fellow.

    Barts Remodeling & Construction Inc
Expanded existing powder room to add a full sized shower to create a 2nd full bath on main floor of our raised ranch. Work included the removal of a seldom used interior stair to the basement and removal of interior wall. A new closet was created in the basement where the stair was located. New access to the attic was also added. Extensive tile work was done on the expanded bathroom walls along with the floor. Plumbing, painting, and electrical work was also included. The finished product is beautiful. Very happy with the results. This is the second time that we have used Bart. Our original comment still stands: if you want a quality job at a fair price along with courteous and dependable service, then Bart is your guy. The work was completed more quickly than I expected and all of the crew were very dependable and considerate. They were also very respectful in keeping the construction site as clean as possible. Bart is very responsive to any and all questions. He answers both his emails and phone messages in a very timely fashion. When a few issues came up (as is normal), he always worked with us to resolve them. He is very committed to getting things right and really cares about doing a quality job. Its rare to find someone that is so trustworthy. Absolutely would work with Bart again and highly recommend him.

    Metro Construction and Remodeling
Have worked with metro for a number of years, but most recently did a major remodel for both upstairs bathrooms. Very happy with results with no issues. David and team guided decision-making, always knowledgeable, with great attention to detail in their work.

    Masters Kitchen and Bath
We had our kitchen remodeled in 2011. Then, as now, we could not have been happier with the experience. Everything from how helpful they were with designing the remodel, to helping us choose our cabinets, counter tops, lights, fixtures, everything including the kitchen sink! The workmanship is bar none and the promise of the timing was kept to the day. Stayed in budget and on time. It was the opposite experience of everyone we've ever met. We cannot say enough about the experience and couldn't recommend them higher. But, even better, is the continued commitment to us as their customers. We recently were having a problem with our soft close feature. Thomas showed up at our home the next day with new parts and was able to adjust the mechanism and the cabinets are working as good as new. He always said that we are customers for life... he meant it. I like knowing we have people who stand by their work and their customers.

    4Ever Remodeling
4Ever Remodeling did a great job. The bathroom looks fantastic and the process was as smooth as you can expect a major renovation to be. They were always on time, very responsive, and creative with problem solving. Working with Magda as our project manager/designer was so helpful. She actually shops with you to help you make decisions and try to find tile and fixtures that will fit your vision, but there's no pressure to use certain vendors or more expensive items. The renovation process is stressful no matter what, but working with this company makes it so much easier.

    4Ever Remodeling
The project went very well. The designer and project manager, Magda, was a pleasure to work with. She took a lot of care with the design particularly the tile styles, patterns and colors. She accompanied us to the stores to pick out the fixtures and the tiles. The project took longer than originally estimated but getting good quality work was worth it. Two tradesmen performed the bulk of the work and a licensed electrician and plumber were also brought in. All the workers were courteous and tried to keep the construction dirt contained. On a couple occasions we were not at home when the work was being done so the workers entered and locked up at the end of the day. We were pleased with all the workers but want to especially cite Martin who did most of the finishing work. The pattern we choose for the wall tile was complex. He did an excellent job and the end result looks great.

    RF Improvements Inc
This was an enormous project requiring the removal of about 1600 sq ft of a combination of VCT and slate followed by preparing the surface with stabilizing underlayers. Removal of the old flooring was a massive undertaking because it was very securely glued/cemented in place. The floor needed substantial leveling because the house was built in 1965 and sits on a lot that descends to a lake. Radek, Radek and Filip arrived dependably and conquered this project beautifully. This project also included installing new baseboard and reconfiguring several closet doors. The photo shows the precision work of Filip in installing the porcelain on a spiral staircase. This required loads of cutting and careful placement. Well done!

    Masters Kitchen and Bath
We were very satisfied with our complete kitchen and bath gut rehab and remodel. It was important for us to find a local company that would be the designer, project manager, and submit all of our city permits on our behalf. While we had ideas, we wanted professionals. Also, we wanted the tv type design 3D experience as well as a warranty on the labor and materials. Weve used a number of contractors on our 100 year old colonial home, and finally, Masters was the perfect design-builder for us. If you want a helpful, honest and positive review, please read on. We found Masters through Angies list, which offered a slight discount. They responded to our inquiry, and Marc came out to meet us and see our kitchen. Marc showed us other projects on his ipad, and said we would get so much more space with new cabinets while keeping the original footprint of the kitchen (which was our goal). Marc was open to our suggestions but also offered his professional opinion and reasons why some of our suggestions might not be ideal. Within two weeks, Marc invited us to the showroom to see the design, see samples and to talk through the project timeline and cost. The design was what we asked for but, we decided when we got home, it wasnt what we wanted. So, Marc graciously came back to our house to listen to more ideas. The new design was completed in less than 2 weeks, and we were very happy with the design. The designer at Masters was able to make adjustments on the spot using his 3d design software until the kitchen was perfect. We shook hands and agreed on the design. Mark informed us that the once a contact was signed for the agreed upon price, there wouldnt be additional cost for unforeseen issues that might come up throughout the project. For example, if existing piping burst when working on the plumbing and needed to be replaced, Masters wouldnt charge us for the labor or materials. This actually happened during the project, and they didnt charge us a dime. The overall cost estimate was above other estimates we received. But the other estimates couldnt guarantee they wouldnt charge more if they ran into unforeseen issues. We appreciated the conservative approach to their quoting. We also liked their 5 year warranty on both materials and labor (which we couldn't find elsewhere). After the project started, we decided to replace 2 windows and the kitchen entry door. Masters was very professional and quoted us for the additional labor. We worked with a 3rd party to order the windows and doors, and Masters installed them beautifully. We were able to select all materials in Masters showroom with assistance from Marc and the designer. They had a large selection of cabinets, countertops and tiles. We also selected our faucet there and couldnt be more happy with it (Its lead free and very stylish). We also selected our farmhouse sink from the showroom display. Its the centerpiece of our kitchen. They gave us the info we needed to select our appliances at ABT. Based on the design, Marc said wed need to pick out a counter depth fridge that is 33 in wide. ABT had exactly 2 options, which we werent excited about. But luckily, we went went the Samsung one and now really like it. ABT also beat Home Depot prices and upped their 4 year warranty to 5 year to match the Home Depot warranty and price. We are very happy with the Cabinetry. But, there were a few hiccups with the order. We got the wrong glass, which was replaced in good time. There were also limitations to the interiors because of our cabinet sizes, which caused some anxiety after installation. There was also different conversations and estimates made on the crown molding, and we were surprised by the final cost. That said, we are happy with the final product, and it was the right decision to go with crown molding in the entire kitchen. Our project was a one man job which at first was surprising to us but he surpassed all expectations and then some. The demo was completed in a short time with a week notice and minimal disturbance to the house. They used a barrier to keep dust to a minimum. Shasho was absolutely amazing. He constructed our kitchen, scheduled the inspections and was very detailed in all that he did. We could not be happier with his service, management and workmanship. He used his best judgement for the project and we were very happy with the decisions he made. We felt very comfortable with him in our home! The Kitchen was completed within the proposed timeline. We were absent form the house for most of the project. Our bathroom took about 3 weeks over their initial window because Shasho was scheduled for another kitchen. The third party flooring company (contracted by Masters) finished the floor with noticeable tape marks. Both we and masters were not satisfied, so the floor was redone. This delayed our completion by about a week. Overall, we are very happy with our kitchen. Our friends, family and agent cannot say enough about it. Weve actually heard this is the most beautiful kitchen Ive ever seen Thank you Masters, you did a great job!

    Masters Kitchen and Bath
It went very well. They finished within one week of the original estimate, and we added miscellaneous change orders during the process. Our construction lead was unbelievably good, and we enjoyed dealing with all of Masters team during the process. It's a great company.
