I was very impressed with the emergency care I received at Lutheran General. The staff quickly assessed my symptoms, and based on them, made the decision to keep my family away from my bedside. Multiple nurses and doctors gleaned as much information from me as they could to best diagnose me, and then treated me quickly. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I was experiencing a severe migraine, and my primary care physician, based on my symptoms, recommended that I go to the emergency room immediately. I was admitted immediately and efficiently, and seen by multiple doctors within a few minutes.

The center is clean, bright and very welcoming which is very important for a healthcare facility. I checked in at the front desk then they call you in to an office to go over your paperwork, address and insurance info, etc. Then went back out to waiting room until I got called into my appointment. The facilities overall were excellent. The doctors, nurses and other staff members were very attentative. It was very clean and well maintained. They went out of their way to make sure any concerns were answered.

I have had planned surgeries and also emergencies bringing me through the ER department. I was always treated well at LGH. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
First let me say I have Rhuematoid Arthritis and have struggled at times with infections due to medications besides the problem with the disease. I have had a number of surgeries and a hospital stay for infection in the past 3 years. In 2010 had a herniated. strangulated and perforated bowel, that surgery was performed on. Later that year they reversed the ostomy I had been given. I had an unrelated infection at end of year. Late in 2011 and 2012, February then August I had my knees replaced and triple arthodesis on my left foot and bunion repair. These Orthopedic surgeries where done with NO infections occurring.
