    Dave gave me instructions on how to do the work myself since the only thing that needed to be done was defrost the freezer. I was leaving to go out of town and what a relief it was to know it was done and I could have a worry free vacation. Great advice that was spot on!

    What an awesome company! Dave is the most professional, helpful and reasonably priced repairman I have ever hired. We moved into a rental and the wash machine was broken when we moved in. It was a fairly new machine which the prior tenants broke. Dave was up front about the cost of repair being more than the machine was worth and charged a minimal service fee. A few weeks later the dryer broke. He asked for the dryer model number over the phone so he could pick up the parts before he came out, stating that way he wouldn't have to charge us for 2 service calls! He came out the next day, fixed the dryer, cleaned out the vents, at a very reasonable price. I called him on two other occasions with questions about other appliances and he was so nice to answer my questions over the phone. If you want the job done right at a great price - give Dave a call!

    Overall it was a great experiment. The only thing that I would like to see some improvement on is punctuality. My tech was an hour late to fix my washing machine. Everything else was fantastic, and honestly well worth the wait. What made it so great is thar he gave me fair work, and looked out for my best interests. He could have charged more. At first he quoted me a price to replace the motor. But when he came back and gave a more detailed inspection, he discovers it was only the brushes that needed to be replaced. This was two hundred dollars cheaper for parts and labor than to replace the whole motor. And he could have just charged me for a new motor, and I���d be none the wiser. But he didn���t take advantage of me and only did what needed to be done instead of padding a bill. This alone makes it worth the wait. His work itself was also solid. I ran a load of laundry after he left and it���s not only working, but it���s wodking faster than before! I will continue to use Yabi as my appliance repair tech. I hope this helps for anyone looking for an honest, do it the right way kind of tech. Thanks Yabi, you have this customer for life.

    I don't normally post reviews but in this case think it is warranted. Owner of business came to inspect 15-year old dryer, verified the repair needs, said he'd have to order the parts, gave me a cost estimate, said he'd come the next day to do the repairs and left. All good. I started thinking about the repair cost vs. a new dryer and did some quick research. within a short time (maybe 30 minutes), I called them and said to hold off on ordering the parts, since I was thinking of buying new instead. I was told that it was too late, that an express shipment of parts had already been ordered, that the order could not be cancelled, etc. etc. (Bovine scatology) In the end I was told $80 for service call and parts and got a lecture on why I shouldn't buy a new dryer. Their reactions and how they spoke to me came across as coercive and dishonest, to say the least. This experience had me most decided not to use them for a repair. In the end they said they got the parts order cancelled and charged me $69 - fair price for a service call with no repair. They say they've been in business for many years, but with this kind of customer handling ... ? BTW in the end I bought a new dryer instead of repairing this old one

    Our dryer wasn���t heating up. I called Dave after finding him on Angie���s list. He came out within hours of my first call and repaired the dryer in about 45 minutes. The price he quoted was what he charged (no surprise charges). He was professional, answered our questions & explained everything he was doing. He was very friendly & kind with us and our children. I would absolutely use him again & would recommend him to others!

    They were perfect. We made contact in the early morning, and they had Lou out a few minutes earlier than their stated window, which was very impressive. I've NEVER had anyone come out on the early side of a 1-3 hour window. Lou even called me 20 minutes prior to his arrival to give me the head's up. He was done with everything in 1 hour, and there was a lot of stuff to do to get the job done.

    Svilen did an excellent job replacing the switch, despite the difficulty in getting to it. He found the out-of-stock switch (no longer made) from a South Side supplier, went to get it and then scheduled the time to replace it. A little expensive, but pleased with the end result. Thank you.
