B&J Ultimate Beauty and Wellness Spa
Jacek is is an extraordinary practitioner and therapist. After pursuing many good doctors and alternative healthcare providers about my chronic back pain, I never experienced sustained improvement. I spent hundreds of dollars and many long hours and days searching and trying different therapies. It was discouraging. Until I found Jacek. From day one, he knew over the phone and in the initial consult what to do. He made my lower back pain dissipate with the right combination of massage therapy and exercise
Please see Jacek or refer him to anyone you know. You will never regret it.

    Sullivan Hypnotherapy
I was a little skeptical at first, but since nothing else worked to this point I took a chance. I scheduled an appointment.  After the first appointment I was very amazed at my feeling of re awakened calmness. This helped me unclutter my mind and better handle my situations. I scheduled in total another two sessions. I have to say that I believe it helped me cope better with my life challanges. The deep deep hypnotic mental relaxtion that she showed me on her computor (my brain waves) were real. I would recommend a few sessions for anyone who needs "grounding" Or, Re Booting of the mind so to speak. She was very professional. Her office was very soothing all by itself. Extremly effective for me.

    Hilton, Dr. Kevin M.
My mother, the patient, left several messages for the doctor first thing Saturday morning.
She was in severe pain due to a spine problem for which she met another doctor, Regan Quinn, at Hilton's office on Thursday.
Quinn did not follow up with her and left her for the weekend. So, we followed up with the office and left messages for the on call doctor, Kevin Hilton. In addition to the patient leaving several messages in the morning, when I learned that Hilton never called back, I began to call and leave messages. I had to call every 30 minutes. After 4 or 5 calls, he finally calls the patient at about 4:00 pm that day. From 8:00 am leaving 7 or 8 messages, he finally calls 8 hours later!!!
And when he calls, he asks the patient where she got the MRI done and when she wasn't able to answer that question on the spot, he tells her that he's "trying to help" but there's nothing he can do until he finds out where the MRI was done to call and get the report. Well, that is actually not even true as I learned later. And I'll get back to that.
Hilton ends the call without leaving any follow up, since in his world, he's done all that he can do - rediculous. Well, the patient looked through her notes and found the information and then I had to call the same phone service all over again and leave him another message to call. He called back and I gave him the name and number of the MRI office. He calls the patient back and prescribes medication and calls it in. It's now past 5:00 p.m. when he calls the prescription and that pharmacy is closed. Had Hilton done his job and called back in the morning, all of this would have been avoided including, most importantly, the patient's suffering due to the pain. But, Hilton showed no care and concern over any of this, instead, he was annoyed that he received so many calls. We were asking him to do his job and be responsive, but it seems that he was hoping that if he ignores us, we would go away. Had the paid gone away, sure, we would not have bothered but, apparently unbeknownst to him, and Quinn, pain doesn't take off for the weekend.
We learned that the report of the MRI was already in the computer system of his medical group and had been there since Friday. So, Quinn, the patient's primary doctor, could have logged on to the system and read the report and then call the patient and prescribe the needed medication. But, of course, he couldn't be bothered because, even though he knew his patient was in great pain, he had to leave at 3:00 pm or 3:30 pm for the weekend and would follow up with her on Monday. And Hilton, who was on call, didn't bother to look up the patient in the system to find the MRI report. Either he was lazy to do that or incompetent to know that this could be done?
All of this could have been avoided if the two doctors, Quinn and Hilton, exercised some modicum of care, humanity, dedication and professionalism.
This behavior and manner is very unprofessional and unappreciated.
We would never go to either of them for anything in the future.

Pulling Down the Moon - Chicago
Everything was fine until we tried to get a refund for an additional acupuncture package which we thought we would need, but for reasons beyond our control we did not.  I contacted them twice to ask for a refund but they refused.  We were purchasing in advance to stay on a schedule but forgot at the time that these were non-refundable.  They did not bother to remind us before purchasing that they were non-refundable and, since it was a medical issue that could change at any time, that we should wait and pay for the package on the day that we actually started the appointments included in that package.  I spoke with Amanda and the only explanation was that it was the policy of the owners.  I was not offered a chance to speak with any of the owners, despite my request to speak with someone who had the authority to alter this decision. They offered to change to massage or acupuncture for some other medical issue but we did not need this and they did not offer any type of refund whatsoever. So, they kept our $425 for no services.

Dr. Castle got right to work, didn't require extensive screening exams and workup/extended treatment plan. Is hands-on and EFFECTIVE! In-office massage therapists are AWESOME. After three appointments I am feeling much better.

It was excellent. I liked the therapist they've sent out. He was very good. He had real good exercises for me, just what I needed. I am very happy with their service. I would use them again and I would recommend them to anybody.

    Sassack Family Acupuncture
Michael is very friendly. He doesn't push you to a set treatment plan but works with you to guide you through the treatment. I was hardly able to sit when I went to see him. My back is much better these days.

    Vistitsky, Dr. Joseph
Treatments are always pleasant. Do tell Dr Joe all your concerns as he can usually fix it in a few visits. If you feel discomfort be sure you tell him before you leave the office. He is very patient.
