TERRIBLE! Like the other negative review here I will never use their service again. SEVENTEEN DAYS! (updated) When I went in after two weeks I was given a song and dance about how the part "just came in" that day and they had to drive to Peru to get it.
Yeah, right! I can tell when someone is lying to me and this was perhaps the worst example of a lie I've ever perceived. The guy looked liker a kid whop's hand was stuck in the cookie jar.
In addition to this the girls that work the desk have personalities of scorpions. Heaven forbid you should stop by after a week and ask what's up with your vehicle!
    "Did we call you"?
    No
    "Well then it's not ready"!
Umm problem solved. You just lost a customer!
I understand an estimate is just that but don't pay any attention to them when they say "It will probably be lower", IT WON"T!
And after all this time when I picked it up, the air conditioning belt I had asked THREE TIMES to be installed wasn't! I figured I'll get it put on somewhere else lest I be out of a truck for another 10 days! Perhaps they would have to order this also!
Heed the other negative review here and don't  pay attention to the positive one. Maybe that was under a different management or maybe they just entered it themselves but I;ll have my vehicles towed to La Salle or Peru before I let these clowns touch them!

    ZIEBART
I turns out the 2009 Chevy Malibu's front door windows are made from the same type of bonded glass as windshields.  The plus of this-In a parking lot the window shattered when a SUV opened the door and its mirror hit the glass. The glass shattered but the glass  did not fall apart. I was able to drive the car, the window itself had no problems being raised and lowered but you were looking through shattered glass when driving.
I called all around within a 6 municipality area and discovered the price of replacing a bonded side window was surprisingly high, $600-$800.  I called my insurance company and they gave me a list of company's who replaced window.  The last place I called was Ziebart, they are not exactly known for glass replacement. Honestly, I thought I was given the number by mistake.
I was very surprised when I contacted Ziebart and they confirmed they replace the glass in the door window and the price I was quoted was half the price of others. I realized the price quoted was probably not for the bonded glass. When I mentioned this, the man checked and verified that the window was factory installed as bonded and the price quoted was just for safety glass.
I talked with the gentleman about the differences in the windows and the cost, he was very informative and answered my questions in a way that I could understand.  He checked the price for the bonded window and voiced his surprise at the actually recommended price difference.  He checked the difference for his cost and notified me that he thought  the recommended doubled price was extraordinary due to the actual cost differences he was paying for the window.
He adjusted the price to one he saw as fair, ordered the window, called me immediately when it arrived and replaced the window while I waited.  The service, honesty, cleanliness', and personal concern was amazing!
I will be calling them before anyone else if future problems occur and would recommend them to friends, family, and anyone interested in a honest, reliable service.

    American Truck Wash & Repair
TERRIBLE! The welder (Jim) is a nice guy but his boss (I believe Jeff Burgwald) is a buffoon and a Neanderthal! I have used their services before but NEVER AGAIN! The first tine the boss was not there so everything went off without a hitch. The second time I brought by the piece and asked what it would cost to weld. Jim said the rate is $85 an hour and it would be the increment of that hourly rate and the job should take about 15 minutes (which it did) so I estimated about $20. As Jim was working on the part, this caveman showed up swearing a blue streak. Now I'm a former law enforcement officer out of Chicago so I'm used to bad behavior but this guy was over the top. He started screaming about what the "F" was Jim doing and how he was paying him to do something else. The tirade went on for 3 to 4 minutes until he realized I was there. They ADVERTISE as a welding company so I couldn't see what the problem was. When the job was done, Jim wanted to charge me the full hourly rate for a 15 minute job since that is what the boss told him to do. I told them I could of bought a new piece for $80 and that was not the agreement. Finbally I was charged $40 (twice of what I should have been charged) so I just gave them the money and got out of Dodge!
NEVER AGAIN! I was actually embarrassed for the owner since his behavior was so bad and felt bad for Jim having to put up with such an idiot. I'd steer clear from this business for any work since the price will be based on whether this clown of an owner is in a bad mood or unexpectedly shows up!

I only use Conroys for my family's cars. The work is always performed right and the price is ALWAYS 20 - 40% lower than the car dealership. I have compared. Doug is a good, fair, and friendly businessman who remembers faces and names. Highest recommendation.

I called Paul and told him about the quote I recvd from the Kia dealership. He asked what I needed done and how much was their quote. He said he could do the same work for a lot less. He ordered the parts and within a few days was able to get it in and do the work for a fraction of the Kia dealership quoted price. Love it!

    POMP'S TIRE SVC
I knew there was something wrong, the car was running loud, my son drove it once and alerted me as to what might be wrong. Pomps diagnosed the problem and repaired it in a timely manner. Mathis is not the first time I have had my car in for service, they are always friendly, do a great job, and charge a fair price.

Great. We've gone to Conroy's over 15 years. We now own 4 cars (my husband and I and two kids). Conroy's is the only place we take our cars ! He'll find the problem and fix it for you quickly.

    Duffy's Auto Sales Inc
They have sold me five cars.  I never had a problem with any of the cars.  There was no high pressure.  They really try to help you find a car that suits your needs but they don't try to force you to do anything.  The service was pretty decent.  I had looked at cars at some other places but Duffy's price was better.  I've been buying cars there for the last three years.
