I was given all options available, and time to make all decisions, ultimately being confident that I made the right one! Price was fair. All staff were warm welcoming and professional.

    Midwest Animal Hospital
We were clients of Midwest for several years. On 7/24/20 we took our pet “Tuxedo” who was struggling with several issues to Dr Coyne for consultation. We were satisfied with the evaluation and decision. They were so kind and we weren’t charged for the visit. On 7/26/20 we had to put the dog down. The care and affection by the staff of our loss was very heartfelt. 7/27/20 we received a vase with a flower that was very touching and our remembrance memento of a paw print. The service was great and I’ll continue to take our other pet there for service. Thank you Midwest.

K-9 Guardians Boarding & Training Center
Rather than discuss my dog’s past too intensely, I’ll just say that she came to me at 1.5 years old. She’s a massive Cane Corso who was basically abandoned in the shed with a chain around her neck, filthy, and covered with mites. She smelled like no animal should. She is very suspect of men as I believe she was abused by one. However, she is all heart. A good girl who needed time to adjust and feel safe with us. She 145lbs at 2.5 years old and stronger than anything I have ever experienced. She also is insanely protective of my Son (14) and myself. Incredibly loyal. On the flip side of that loyalty is the possibility that on a leash, she tends to interpret other dogs or people as a threat. Then, my sweet girl has all the unknown potential to kill and that was my ultimate fear. Aggressive dogs are something she dreams of eating. Covid hit so our plans for a spay surgery and socialization training were suspended. Now, I’ve heard great things about K9 Guardians and figured now was the only opportunity for us to have a dog free vacation and take advantage of the fact that they could do a dog boot camp while she and my other dog were boarded there. I was terrified how she’d behave around strange men (they aren’t strange, by the way, they are awesome, but you know what I mean). I was terrified she’d attack or be attacked even though she never has and that’s because I’m careful about the unknowns. Midway through our trip I was given an update on progress and saw the video they posted of her training with 2 other shepherds in the same room! I nearly ****. This was a breakthrough. Perhaps because I wasn’t attached to the other end of the leash, but I’m pretty certain it’s because I have babied her given her past and spoiled her-I pretty much became her *****, unwittingly. It’s a hard line to walk when you deal with a dog who came from such trauma and has separation anxiety. Guilty as charged. All the team commented on how she really flourished after 2.5 days (8 day stay) and that much was clear. They simply know and love dogs. My dog loved her trainer and I have a sneaky suspicion the feeling was mutual. I will keep bringing her there for more socialization, but to be honest, it’s more to train ME and my Son. We lost track of simplicity and pretty much dodged other dogs and people for too long. I have always had dogs. They were obedient and easily trained. However, none came with trauma baggage and I’m a sucker for big ol’ lover who needs the love. It’s the connection with simple, repetitive commands from big hearts that really made the difference. We are committed to the training, will listen to their every word, and not slip into comfortable or bad habits because having a dog this big comes with big responsibility and I’m so thankful I met this team. My dog is better for it, but I’m the one who ultimately took the win. If you’re on the fence, it’s time to get off. These people are no BS and will help you and your dog get on the level. They don’t talk to you like you’re a moron because they understand that every situation and every dog is different. If you feel like your dog needs help. This is the place. If you feel like your dog tends to act like an A-Hole, you could be the cause. Just sayin’ (Takes one to know one) That’s my honest review. Five stars. L Allen

    Hynek Construction
Hynek came out quickly after my inquiry, took a look at the chimney and gave me a reasonable cost estimate. His crew arrived on time, did nice work and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommended.

We have been taking our cockapoo here since he was a puppy. Our dog doesn’t have the best temperament (doesn’t even let our kids pick him up) yet he does really well with Ro. We’ve been taking our dog there for almost 12 years. Highly recommend Chariot of the Dogs.

    Clips 'n Wiggles Dog Grooming
This was my first visit to Clips n Wiggles. My 13 month old, 54 lb. Goldendoodle went in to get a full grooming, and not only did CeCe do a beautiful job, but she listened to all my concerns and followed my instructions perfectly. Previously my little guy went to another groomer and ended up with bad infections. He was so well cared for at Clips n Wiggles and came out a “ happy camper”! I’ve already scheduled our 2nd appt. scheduled!

Our Henry went in for a socialization session. Prentice was very informative and reassuring. He made many suggestions for products that would be helpful but never tried to sell us anything.
