    ANTIOCH SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
While unable to repair due to cost of parts/labor (as much as cost of item itself) he was able to diagnose problem, turn in to company under warranty and within a week I had both my depost back from him and a new trimmer from Greenworks. Great service on both their parts. I thought his hourly rate was a bit high but I have not had any repair work done lately so hesitate to comment further on this as I did not have any repair work done and he quickly returned the deposit I had left for the repair since covered under warranty.

    BILL'S POWER EQUIPMENT REPAIR
Bill's continues to provide outstanding service at a fair price. In the midst of last winter's snow and sub-zero temperature our snow blower always worked. We can depend upon their work.

    Chicago Lawn Mower Svc Inc
I live in Elmwood Park and trying to find a reliable place to repair my Toro lawn mower was difficult until I found Chicago Lawn Mower. It is 7 miles away. I brought my mower to them and they diagnosed the problem while I waited which took less than 5 minutes. I was given different options and the cost of each. Ultimately, I chose to replace the motor. They offered to have it done later that day. The service was fast and friendly. This is my new go to business for lawn mower repair. They also sell and service snowblowers along with lawn mowers.

I called John at 7:45 am on a Saturday morning. He answered promptly and was at my home at 1.30. He couldn't diagnose the issue onsite and so too the mower back home with him and returned next day with a working mower. John clearly has a passion for his work in his retirement and represents the standards of work, attitude and passion that built America.

    Lifeline Plumbing Heating & Cooling
The company was very responsive.  They sent me an email about 35 minutes after I purchased the coupon.  That was on a Tuesday afternoon.  I called them and scheduled them to come out for the service first thing on Friday.  Their technician, Dennis arrived on time.  He was very good and very knowledgeable.  We had been having problems with the furnace burners going on and then shutting off while the fan stayed on blowing cold air.  He quickly found that the problem was a dirty flame sensor, and cleaned it.  He also noticed that the burner furthest to the right was making a rattling noise only when the fan came on.  He said in his experience that usually meant there was a crack in the heat exchanger.  He said if that was the case, it was time for a new furnace.  He inspected the heat exchanger with a camera scope.  Upon close inspection with the camera, he could not find a crack.  He discovered that 2 screws were missing that attached a back plate to the heat exchanger right behind the rattling burner.  This was probably done by a technician we had out previously. He replaced the missing screws, reassembled everything, and the rattling noise  was gone. He said it was the first time in 15 years he had seen something like that be the cause of the noise.  Most technicians would have just tried to sell me a new furnace, claiming it was a bad heat exchanger.  Instead, he fully investigated the problem and didn't give up until he found the real problem.  Since my furnace is pretty old, he could have easily sold me on the idea of replacing it with a new one.  Instead, he pronounced my furnace as in good working order.  This says a lot about his integrity and that of his company.  When I do decide to replace our aging furnace, I won't think twice about going with Lifeline Plumbing Heating & Cooling to do the work. Dennis explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions about how furnaces work. When asking about using a zoned system to help even out the heat distribution in our home, he discovered that the ducting in our house is actually structured to do this.  He explained how that type of system works, gave me a guess on approximate cost and told me he would email me a quote in a few days.  He also told me that our 100,00 BTU furnace is oversized for the size of our house.  It causes it to run very short cycles so we constantly go from cold to hot.  He said our size house only needs a 70,000 BTU furnace. That size furnace would be a better fit for the square footage in our home.  It would run longer cycles, reducing the hot/cold spells we now experience.  I was really happy with the service I received from Lifeline Plumbing Heating & Cooling.  I would definitely recommend them to everyone.  They are a reputable firm with knowledgeable technicians.
