  • If you are selling your home and the buyers request a radon test, walk don't run to your phone and call David Disnick at BRT Home Inspections & Radon Testing. We failed the first Radon test and had to have a Radon Mitigation system installed in my home. The only good thing about that is the fact that we met David Disnick for the retest. I called on Saturday and he was at my home on Sunday afternoon installing the testing equipment. David is a true professional, extremely knowledgeable and utilized sophisticated equipment that is calibrated after 10 testing situations, an additional 4 times a year and independently tested at a national level once a year. David gave us his personal number and told us to contact him personally with any questions. Do not hesitate. Call David first if your buyers want a radon test. You won't regret it.

  • CMD staff members are all very professional, including the inspector, front desk staff/scheduler, and the worker who conducted the remediation/repair work. Eric, the President, was the most helpful. He stayed late to get the estimate done on time, provided creative yet reasonable solutions to unexpected issues encountered, and was very professional in all the interactions. I was very happy to use CMD to resolve a challenging and time sensitive problem.

  • IKG's service was superior in quality just as they promised it would be. The crew that came were personable and polite, they cleaned up the area near the attic access when the job was finished. Tom and his company are affordable and knowledgeable, they answered all of our questions and gave us tips on how to sell our home faster as well. We would recommend IKG to all those seeking fast, affordable, and quality mold solutions.

  • It went PERFECTLY!

They were professional, clean, and very considerate of our new decorating!!!!

The first day was attic work, removing all the mold.  They kept things clean as promised (even better than expected).

The second day was furnace and vent cleaning.  Again, their cleanliness and expertise well exceeded our expectations.

Thank you so much, Cameron and our wonderful crew Dave and Carlos!

  • We reached out to Mold Solutions after getting an home energy audit where the estimator told us we had an extensive mold issue in our attic and could resolve it for $2500.  We knew this was a serious issue, and just having bought the home a year earlier where it was cleared for mold, then getting a new roof, complete with new board, we were shocked and a little upset that this was the first time we were hearing about mold. Mold Solutions returned our email inquiry with a phone call, and after explaining that we were looking for a second opinion, waved their inspection fee.
Adam came to our home on time, and was very professional. He was thorough with his inspection and explained the situation to us. What we appreciated was that he was honest with us. Being first-time home buyers, you have to decipher "real deals" as you go. Adam's professionalism, honesty, and thoroughness gave us a great piece of mind. He let us know that we did not have a mold problem and did not need his services at this time. He answered all of our questions about ventilation, future issues of mold, even insulation. He gave us recommendations, which we will be using, for potential issues in the attic.
If we ever have mold, or the fear we have mold, we will not hesitate to contact Mold Solutions. It is nice to know you have someone in your corner and not out to get some unhonest cash.

  • My initial contact with the woman who answered the phone gave me a good feeling about the company. I then got a prompt call from their estimator/inspector Tom who did not pressure me as to what to do. He explained the options when it comes to remediation of mold and the positives and negatives of each. The quote arrived via e-mail within 2 business days from inspection.  I had several other questions that were answered promptly via e-mail and once I agreed to the service I was contacted by a scheduler and the service was completed in about a week. The crews that came, 2 different crews on separate days, were courteous and professional.
I would recommend them to anyone needing their service and will use them again if needed.

  • I didn't use this company  for this service, but in my experience with the answering service, the gentlemen that did the inspection and provided a quote was very positive. They were prompt, courteous and professional on the phone, in person, and by e-mail.

  • Spencer came out and did the quote, and Vince was the superintendent for the work.  They got us a quote quick, scheduled the work quick, got the permit, and arranged for testing for us.  They were extremely professional, prompt, and courteous.  They went above and beyond, and I could not have been more impressed.

  • Spencer came out to test our basement tile for asbestos.  We received a
prompt estimate for the removal.  Spencer was courteous and
knowledgeable.  Our test came back negative but I would not hesitate to
recommend Bluestone Environmental to a friend.

  •  I had demo'd our downstairs bathroom down to the studs knowing a shower pan had a crack in it (and after 2 old and bad fiberglass patch jobs) and still leaked onto the floor underneath. Also because of our utility room water issue we have a waterproofing company coming in to install a drain tile system along that back wall which cuts through our bathroom and since they were going to have to jack hammer through the bathroom floor to get to the crawl space from the utility room, this was the time to gut the bathroom and start from scratch (also it was outdated and time anyways). From start to finish this was a very pleasant experience. I believe the office gentleman that answered was Robert, and he was very nice and got me right in the next day. I told him I wanted to have ED come and do the estimate based on all the reviews by Angie's Lists customers he was the man I wanted to go with. I would be confident with anyone in this company coming out on my next check ( I have an upstairs bathroom and an attic - when I get to those projects). Ed called before coming, and he was even running early that day and that was fine for me. He looked at the bathroom, I explained I knew where the problem came from, he saw some mold on my studs and the footing studs were the worst. I advised him I was going to be ripping out those three short walls and reframing them and if by doing that I would be ok with the mold issue being gone, and Ed advised yes. For my very light surface mold on one or two short studs, Ed gave me a product recommendation that I could by at any home improvement store and then for the concrete floor, just bleach and water. I just want anyone to know that when I call up any Angie's lists company's and go with them , I alway's am prepared for worst case scenario on that I could actually be paying for the service/s after my free estimates and approximate by some of the reviews some type of cost. This I was actually prepared to hear from Ed, but to my luck I was grateful to hear with the process I'm taking I'm doing the right thing in clearing out the mold and also doing it the right way. If Mold Solutions services were needed I would have still gone with them based on Ed's reviews and the Company's reviews as a whole. I would not have planned on getting any other estimates from any other company because of their reviews and also Ed's visit and knowledge. I will be calling them back when I start my other bathroom and empty out my attic to have them checked then. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, don't waste your time researching. Oh and on a last note, I appreciated the Bleach information they post on their site, it was very knowledgable. Although I knew wood is porous it was comforting to see how the EPA and OSHA differ on the myths of using bleach to clean mold and when to use it. This company thinks about the customer first, by doing this they put their company in first.
