  • Having travelled 1300+ miles for vacation, we noticed a problem with our vehicle. It's always an uncomfortable position to be needing auto service when you don't know anything about the shops in the area, and don't have someone to make a recommendation. Ryan was able to get us in the same day and did the repair immediately at a very fair price. Couldn't recommend more highly.

  • They're the dealer that I bought cars from. My car is under warranty, so they do it under warranty. It doesn't cost me anything. They provided excellent service. They had a car to take me home when it took a long time and I didn't want to wait. They're very polite and responsive.

  • The radio was draining the battery. They said, "Well, it's probably the battery." They replaced the battery. Unfortunately, it wasn't that battery. So I had to go back to the dealership and get a radio put in. He didn't think it was a radio problem because it was a factory installed radio and he said he had never heard of a factory installed radio draining a battery. Because it's a Mazda, he probably didn't have much experience with those. They took care of it right away.

  • Literally crashed my car into another vehicle. I had to exit Parlor Pizza on Green Street, the police were there, an ambulance had to take the passenger of the other car to the ER and now they are saying it is not their fault. Would not return my calls to the office and have been absolutely despondent.
The police officer wrote their driver the ticket and gave them the court date. They are acting awful. Not repairing the vehicles, returning calls, emails etc
I would not let them touch my car for ANYTHING!

  • The service was very good. It took a short time to complete. The waiting room had coffees, sodas and a TV. I had no problem with the staff and I have always gotten good deals and the service has always been top shelf. I have used them for 4 years now.

  • There is not enough space here to tell you the entire story. Every time I stopped in to see how the repairs were going, I got the same excuse "waiting for parts." The only estimate I got was for the power steering, nothing else. He said about 4 thousand. He never gave me an estimate on anything else or told me how much I currently owed in the repair process. 9 thousand later I found out. If you walk in his place I dare you to have him commit to a price. Its costing me more money to bring this car back to what it should be. He never called me on the phone to get an approval for services to be done, I would only find out the status on my car by stopping once a week. I guess his phone records could prove me wrong . You don't have to believe 1 thing I have said here, all you have to do is ASK ANYONE WHO HAS BROUGHT THEIR CAR OR BOAT TO HIM. Go to any car show and ask people if they have heard about Hypersion, then you decide.

  • Before we even moved out to the south suburbs from the city, we looked for a mechanic once we knew what area we'd be moving to. We chose Mike's Auto based on online reviews.
Jim has always been honest with us and given us a fair price on repairs. He does excellent work and has fixed problems where other mechanics only made it worse. He maintained our '96 Honda until this last summer, when the extent of rust from this brutal past winter was too much and it rusted out the bottom.
It is only Jim, so make sure you call ahead to see if he has room that day, as many people like to use him. But if it is a really timely repair, he has always made room for us.

  • My Ford Escape was at about 88,000 miles when I brought it in. The guys at Kallemeyn were polite, quick, and seemed to really know what they are doing. I had my shocks, struts, and some other suspension parts replaced. As with most of the companies and/or services I deal with, I felt that they were honest and would do good quality work. My car has been riding much better since the service, and I feel safer having had it done in a place that seems to have been around for quite some time. I'm also confident that should any problems arise they would take care of it.

  • I could not be happier with all of the work provided by Alpha Auto Repair.  Robert is absolutely amazing!  He not only transformed my poorly performing 10 year old Saturn into a smooth and enjoyable ride, but all of the work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price.  Both Robert and Lisa were extremely kind and helpful in making my car repair experience one of the best.  They are truly "dedicated to providing personalized service".  Also, Robert's dog Dart, won my heart.  Love you guys!  Thanks again!

  • I like them. I go to them all the time. They are fair and honest. They don't tell you that you need work which you don't need. They have saved me a few times. They warn you when they see something. They tell you the facts, and I am very happy with them. Their price is very competitive for my area. The only people who can beat them in price are the young kids who do it outside their house. I go there for an oil change, and they get me out in 45 minutes, and I usually leave the car there, if I go for a bigger job, like a brake job.
