Went well. Doctor explained what had happened and why the cast was needed. How long it would be on. We had seen the same doctor before for an ankle injury. Equally happy with that experience.

Dr Blomgren was great. His assistant was also great. I had an xray and an mri. Diagnosis was a torn meniscus. We discused surgery. . Dr Blomgren was not a surgeon and I later had it done by Dr Bach also from Midwest. Great team of physicans.

I might see another physician in the same practice shortly. They have 30 physicians there. They all do different things. I saw a different physician before I saw the particular one that I visited with the last time. My experience with them has been very good. They are very organized and very thorough. Everybody there is very accommodating. I have not been treated by them yet. I will definitely use them again in the future.

At the recommendation of my Primary care physician, I made an appointment with Dr. Johnny Linn at Midwest Orthopedics.

I received treatment for a stress fracture in my foot that had previously been misdiagnosed as arthritis. Dr. Linn diagnosed the problem accurately and quickly, and he was very open and easy to talk to. He was also interested to hear what I had to say, and he made sure all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction.

During my visit I had an x-ray taken of my foot, and the x-ray technician was extremely personable. He put me at ease and was very comfortable with his job.

I also worked with another technician who fit me with a boot to immobilize my foot. Again, he was very efficient and friendly and also made sure I had answers to my questions.

Two weeks after my first visit, I returned for a follow up visit. At that time, I met with a resident and a medical student who work with Dr. Linn. The resident examined my foot and ordered another x-ray. After determining that the fracture was healed, they gave me permission to stop using the boot, and I was on my way.

I was released from treatment two months ago, and I've resumed my daily 1.5-mile walks with no problems.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff at Midwest Orthopedics. They all seemed very knowledgeable about their jobs, and all of them put the patients' needs first.

Two weeks prior to surgery I phoned to speak with him about the surgery. He never returned the call. During pre-op, I begged to speak with him again regarding my concerns for the planned procedure and he never came out to speak with me. After 4days in the hospital he stopped by for 15 seconds while I was in therapy only to say how great he thought things went. I received a very abusive and painful treatment by his resident on my last day there which Dr. Virkus later acknowledged but stated his resident just had a bad day. 24 hours after arriving home, I phoned because the pain had increased dramatically. He returned the call 4 days later stating they forgot to give him my number. On my final appointment with him, he administered a cortisone shot and asked me to keep a pain journal so he could determine where the pain was originating. I was to fax it to his office, he would review it and determine my next appointment. I phoned 3 times to find out his response. He called back a month and a half later to say he had no solutions. I am now recovering from another osteotomy to correct what Dr. Virkus did and the surgeon was wonderful, responsive, compassionate and experienced. It really taught me to not be so trusting, don't believe the hype that is put out by big medical practices and the cleverly scripted videos and do your research.

I had knee surgery at another hospital to repair a meniscus tear in my knee. I continued to have pain many months after surgery so I went to another doctor for a second opinion and they recommended knee replacement surgery. I felt this was aggressive so I searched out yet another doctor to either confirm or repudiate this diagnosis and found Dr. Bach. After the initial consultation..I had 3 injections and physical therapy and am now able to walk much more without pain.

Very satisfactory results. Dr. Richard Berger performs minimally invasive hip replacement. I was in the hospital for a total of about 11 hours, left walking with just a cane. Less than a week until I could walk 2 blocks without a cane. But most impressive was his staff--I've never experienced such a professional team--from the initial appointment through all the followup. Everyone knew his/her role and performed it to perfection. Received a 20 page notebook with all detailed info about procedure, post op care, meds, etc, etc which was an invaluable reference. Attended a seminar 2 weeks prior to the surgery where the procedure and device were explained and all questions answered. Extraordinary group of professionals. Only negative is Dr. Berger has opted out of Medicare and I think he only accepts Blue Cross insurance. But he is definitely worth every penny.

The surgery was a total, one hundred percent success. He acts like you're the only patient in the room when he sees you. He doesn?t rush things. He acts like he has all of the time in the world for you. I really appreciate that. He has a great sense of humor but he is very serious at the same time. He has a nurse you can call at any time and she gets back to you. The office environment is very nice and I like the fish tank.
