    Dortch, Dr. Jill
I was greeted warmly, and seen almost immediately by Dr. Dortch.  My Friday appointment included a consultation and a recommended treatment plan, and treatments for back and knee pain.  The knee pain had completely gone by Sunday and back pain definitely improved.  I returned twice weekly for a few weeks, then once, and now every 2 weeks.  It's my first encounter with chiropractic and I'm very pleased with the entire experience.

    Dortch, Dr. Jill
Dr. Dortch is very kind and easy to talk to, but also very professional. I was very skeptical about and afraid of adjustments but my neck pain was lessened immediately after my first adjustment. I continued to get adjustments followed by massages for several weeks and found that any wrenches or twinges in my neck and shoulders were self-healing for the next several months.
Additionally, the office is very pleasant, and Dr. Dortch's husband, who handles the front desk and billing, makes the waiting room feel like a coffee shop filled with friends.

    Active Health Chiropractic Clinic
My husband called a number of different Chiropractors and no one was in, mind you this was a Sunday afternoon. We reached Dr. David Krueger at Active Health and he was just the best. He called me back after he made arrangements to see me at his office that afternoon because I was in so much pain. What a blessing. After that appt. I was able to stand/sit again. I did have follow ups and it was the best thing to happen. I also saw his wife Dr. Sarah Lawson. I still go see her today seeing she was able to work with my work schedule. She has continued to help me with headaches and other injuries using acupuncture and other means. I would highly recommend both and would travel to see them wherever they are. Have sent others to them and my husband now sees Dr Lawson as well. Everyone loves both Dr. Krueger and Dr.Lawson!

    Smith Chiropractic Health Care
This practice is run by a couple, both of which are passionate about wellness and what they do. The staff here is very friendly and on top of things. Their office is comfortable and well-equipped for various types of treatments (chiropractic, electrotherapy, massage, acupuncture, physical therapy, etc...)
I would recommend this practice and return here for my own continued care.

    Dortch, Dr. Jill
Over a period of two months, Dr. Dortch and her staff of massage therapists worked like crazy to get my ribs moving more normally. Everyone I encountered in her office was kind and professional, and I never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. I highly recommend Dr. Dortch.

    Eastlake Chiropractic & Healthcare Center
Our first appointment was a general intake. Dr. Morelas was very thorough and understanding of my problem. She listened, went through some physical movements with me and my medical history. Later she gave me a course of treatment and I  have been seeing her for awhile. She has helped me considerably. My problem was pretty chronic so treatment took about 6 months to straighten out.   She is knowledgable, a good listener..a very good listener and has a great bedside manner.  She is holistic in her approach but does not cram anything down your throat or come across as "my way or the highway". She is a very special practioner.
She has another office she practices at so she divides her time. I have never had a problem scheduling but I could see it being an inconvenience for some.
The only thing I would say is I would like to see a more detailed billing process either for every visit or weekly.

Tree of Life Health Center, P.C.
My son had been diagnosed with ADHD, and anxiety. I was overwhelmed and frustrated knowing I did not want to put drugs into my nine year old's body. I had been to the Tree of Life Health Center and new that the doctor had worked with other children with ADHD, so I called and made an appointment. From that day, we started our journey towards the holistic path of healing. Dr. Linda guided us through the process of understanding "homotoxicology". She is very patient, and because she is a mother herself understands the stresses and needs of her patients. My son is a different child now; it took patience and understanding to go through this process. I know now it was the right decision as he is living a normal and healthy life. Thank you Dr. Linda. You changed our lives.

    Mei, Dr. Hubert A.
I was frustrated with visits to the emergency room at a local hospital. The diagnosis varied from doctor to doctor and the pain continued to make walking standing or sitting impossible. A friend recommended Dr. Mei and I was ready to try anything. At the first visit Dr. Mei relieved a lot of the pain and pressure that kept me from moving freely. Once I was able to move around the recovery process began as I became more active and utilized the muscles that had been inactive for weeks. After a few visits i was feeling almost back to normal.

    Dortch, Dr. Jill
My old chiropractor retired and I've been looking for a new one for some time. I tried others but was never satisfied with the outcome. I always felt worse after the treatment which had never been my experience in the past. I googled chiropractors in Oak Park and Dr. Jill was, I think, the first one who came up. I emailed her website to my cold chiropractor and he said "she looks good." She practiced along the same lines that he did. My back went out after doing some yard work, and I called up saying I'm not a patient of yours but would like to be and explained what had happened to my back. They basically said, whenever you can get here, we will fit you in. I had to have a friend drive me there because I couldn't stand up straight or turn my body. I called and gave them the time I'd be there. When I got the office, the office manager, John (who is Dr. Jill's husband) was so kind and before I knew it, I was ushered back to one of the rooms and Dr. Jill was taking down my history. She put her hand on exactly the spot that was hurting me. I had a treatment and did feel a little better. I went back the next day and after the treatment felt so much better. I had a third treatment and I was about 95% back to normal. I'm going now on a regular basis. I have no problem recommending Oak Park Chiropractic. I'm so glad i found a good chiropractor that's about 15 minutes away from my house and there's lots of parking across the street.

    Dr. Sean Manning
He is very knowledgeable and knows just what to do at any given visit to correct my problems (way moreso than my previous chiro who did the same thing every time). I also saw him when I was pregnant and the baby was breech at 36+ weeks. The Webster Technique of pelvic adjustments helped the baby to turn and stay head down for a great natural birth.  Dr. Manning is so helpful and friendly, it is amazing, as are his staff. It is a very supportive practice that I would highly recommend.
