Pat and the men that came out to work on our driveway were professional and friendly. We got a quote right away and did not even need to put a deposit down. Pat took care of the permit for us and kept in touch through e-mails and phone. The price was reasonable and they did a great job! I would highly recommend them.

They did a wonderful job and very fast. They weedwacked out all the weeds growing in the very many cracks in my drive. Then they blew all those weeds and everything else on the drive away so it was a clean surface. One man poured in crack filler in every crack and smoothed it with a sponge squeegee. Then they dumped bucketfuls of seal coat on the drive and spread them neatly over the whole drive. I also have asphalt to my front and back doors and they did those areas also. My next door neighbor and I have driveways that run along side each other. My neighbor just had her asphalt driveway removed and replaced with a concrete drive about 2 months ago. I repeatedly asked that no seal coat touch her pristine new driveway. They did a perfect job in that area. I have never had this done before so even though I think they did a marvelous job, I asked my neighbors opinions. One said it looks great, 2 others thought the crack filling could have been much better. When I studied the cracks myself I agreed but I think for the price it was a good job. They did the whole job in 45 minutes. To do a better job on the cracks I think they would have had to clean the drive, fill the cracks & let the fill settle and dry, then return another time, clean the drive again, fill the cracks further, then seal coat. This would cost a lot more. I might ask them to do it that way next time but I am completely satisfied with the job at this price.

Mike does a high quality, professional job. Driveway looks new after his work. Mike is a very punctual professional who has very fair pricing. I have hired him for the last 3 or 4 years and will do so again. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be happier with the service that we received from Patrick and his team.  They did a fantastic job and did exactly what we wanted them to do.  The quality of the work was great and they were one of the lowest bids that we received.  We will definitely be calling on them when we need them in the future.

    B & E Sealcoating

This is a small family-owned company. I needed to re-seal my asphalt driveway which is approximately 1,000 square feet. The price was fair. The father and his sons showed up as promised and did a great job. No spray gun was used to apply the sealer which meant no mess on my sidewalk or vinyl siding. They used a horse hair brush to apply the sealer to the entire driveway which resulted in a thicker coat. The men were very clean and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went great.  The estimate came in just a little on the high side but this guy was highly recommended by my neighbor so I thought I would go for it.  The job was done exactly when they said they would do it and they did a great job.  I have a few areas with large cracks and I could see they went the extra mile and applied plenty of coating to these areas.  Jerry returns all his messages within a business day.  While I did not experience any problems, I am sure he would have done everything necessary to correct them if I did.  I will definitely use them again in the future.  The little extra I paid is worth the peace of mind knowing it will get done right!

I hired B and B Asphalt to replace my driveway. They tore out the concrete and were to excavate deep enough for the amount of gravel and blacktop they would be putting down so it would be the same height as the old driveway. This didnt happen. It is 3 to 7 above the original height, depending on which part of the driveway you are on. It is up and down. It is also pitched towards the house, which makes it a dam ready to burst, so to speak. As a result, we have had flooding every time it rained. There were times we filled the shop vac (largest size) 5 or 6 times after one rain. It was coming right over the top of the foundation due to the height and pitch.

I have asked B and B to correct this, but he keeps saying he doesnt see that it is pitched wrong. I had other contractors come and look at this and they all had the same answer: too high, and pitched towards the house.

B and B put in a French drain which is redundant as it is higher than the ground level. They put gravel in to make the ground look higher, but when it was brought back down to original level you could see how the drain is definitely higher and useless at this point. This cut across the driveway for this drain is also causing a tripping hazard as is the 3 rise as you come out of the back gate. The sidewalk inside the back gate is the height of the original driveway which is 3 lower than the blacktop at that point. I have pictures before they took out the old driveway to prove this.

I have pictures and videos of the flooding every time it has rained and how it was pouring into the basement. This can cause a mold issue which is hazardous to your health.

I called B and B and told them I want the driveway lowered and pitched away from the house and he was complaining how this would ruin the driveway. So be it, just fix it the right way. He said he would call back and that was over 2 weeks ago and still no response. This is why I am filing this claim against them.

The owner { Howard } responded to my phone call for a service quote the day I called. He came out to my home, went over the job, and gave me a quote { which I accepted }. The price was very competitive since I have a very long driveway and it had not been sealcoated in 2 years. He called me a couple days before the job and gave me a selection of days I could get the work done.
The crew arrived promptly at the designated time and cleaned the driveway and filled in the deepest cracks. About a half hour later { after the cracks were filled and beginning to dry } Howard showed up with the sealer van and they liberally poured sealcoating on the driveway and sealed it.
Great looking job and done very proffesionally. They will be back to my home next time I decide to get this work done.

He measured everything, and made sure that we were on the same page with everything that I wanted done. He called me back, where as other companies didn't. He came to my door, and he wanted the job. The other people didn't call me back after I spoke to them.

    Carlson Asphalt Company Inc.
Tracy was very professional, prompt and thorough. He came out the next day after I called him and within three days, he mailed me a written bid and contract. His price was very competitive and he and his crew were very friendly and professional. They removed the old drive, dug out the area for the added width and completed the gravel base work on Tuesday. They were planning on doing the finish paving on Thursday, but rain delayed them until Friday morning. They completed the job by about 1pm. The driveway is excellent, smooth and solid. I would definitely use them again.
