AThe Scottish PlumberI looked on line for a plumber who could come out as soon as possible to help stop the flooding of my basement. Tom Tolari came within 40 minutes after his assignment for the day. He was able to open the outside trap and rod out the drain line. The water immediately started to drain. He was pleasant and professional leaving the front yard looking clean. Thank you Tom Tolari! Jessica took my call and she was very sweet to keep me calm. DStarted out very well. He sounded professional over the phone. I felt confident with the services, just based on the first conversation. I explained the problem and he also suggested that he could assist me while social distancing. We never got to a home visit or a social distancing solution, because he ghosted me. AAlthough they were booked up Alliance Repair Services made time to come out to our house and evaluate the issue with our refrigerator. Once it was determined the issue, the repair tech found what we needed and went to get it. With other appointments he needed to do as well, again we were fitted into their tight schedule to come back sameday to fix and get our refrigerator working again. Great Job!!

FI contacted Skyline Appliance Repair during the week from 2/1/2022 to 2/7/2022 and again during the week of 2/7/2022-2/14/2022. I called them several times and no one answered the phone so I left a detailed voice message of the problem with my telephone number. I waited several days and NO ONE RETURNED MY CALL. I called them again and got the same result. I finally decided that I was going to call them one last time and got through to a rep whose name I won't mention and scheduled an appointment for home service. On the day of the appointment I waited from 11-1 (the designated time window) and no one called or showed up. Keep in mind that I work nights, so I was tired and needed to go to sleep. About 45 minutes later I got a voice mail message from a rep saying they will "try to fit me in today" which were his exact words. I called back several times and AGAIN, got no answer. A couple hours later I finally got through and spoke to a rep who reiterated rescheduling the service. I was fed up and told him that I was going to hire someone else. These past two weeks we have had really bad weather in the Chicago area but what does that have to do with returning phone calls in a timely fashion and being courteous? NOTHING! My experience with Skyline Appliance Repair left me with the firm belief that this company is disorganized and mismanaged. Maybe if your reading this you will have better luck. I still have to get my oven repaired.

APaul was prompt and professional, and assembled the oven effectively. The reason why this isn't a perfect rating is I assisted him, which is reasonable given the the nature of the project. However, I can imagine if I weren't there to assist, that this could have been a real challenge for, say, my wife. I would definitely use them again but I'd know I'd have to be there for a project of this kind (though perhaps they were counting on me being there so otherwise would have sent a second person?).
