Kitchen - painted cabinets, added cabinet pulls, added 2 new cabinets, closed up soffet, new sink, disposal & faucet, all new appliances, installed new hard wood floor, updated electrical outlets (USB), quartz countertops & quartz back splash. Bathroom - gutted down to the studs, removed tub, brand new tiled shower, tiled shower walls, faucets, new vanity, toilet, new mirror and more! Beautifully refinished hardwood floors in living room & dining room, to match the new kitchen floor. Painted living room, dining room and back entry way. ADESIGNfirst Builders LLCDESIGNfirst did a great job designing a new open concept kitchen and dining room along with a bathroom remodel. Our outdated kitchen and dining room were due for an overhaul. The design process was very professional and they were able to make revisions to meet our price range. The lead designer, Danielle came up with the innovative idea to We closed on financing and everything went into lock down literally the next day in March 2020. DESIGNfirst was able to guide us through material selection via videoconference and was very flexible in sending multiple samples to our door due to the pandemic. Demo started May 10 2020 and the work was completed late July on time and within budget. Could not be happier with the project manager Gary and the construction crew that made it happen each week. They were very attentive and professional following up on minor details and able to work around some minor kitchen faucet and tub shipment delays due to the pandemic. The remodel looks great and we look forward to enjoying the kitchen and dining room for years to come. Thank You DESIGNfirst!- Jim O.

She was extremely helpful in proposing and developing design ideas and effective at working with her team to turn around our proposal variations in a timely fashion with high quality. We ultimately held off on our remodeling plans for reasons completely unrelated to the outstanding work Linda and DESIGNfirst provided. ABudget Right KitchensThese guys are the best! From the initial consultation all the way through to the end of the project, we felt well taken care of. We had consultations with other contractors, but we were impressed with Dirk’s no pressure approach to the project. We were given several design options to choose from with varying prices. Throughout the whole process, each step of the way was discussed. Given we only have one bathroom, they went out of their way to make sure we had a working toilet for as long as possible. Dan and his crew were very respectful of our space and time. They also made some really great suggestions along the way that made a huge impact on the end result. In the end, we were so happy with the work they had done, we immediately hired them again to renovate a bathroom in our investment condo. ABath & Kitchen ExpertsWe used Bath & Kitchen Experts to remodel our master bath shower. After long research, we decided to proceed with this company. Paul is the owner and very friendly, responsive, and professional. He was able to answer all our questions, help with ideas and suggestions. After that Paul provided us with a very competitive price. The entire process went very well. Paul was checking in a few times to see if everything is going well and if we had any concerns. One contractor Igor was super professional. He did everything himself: demo, tiles, plumbing, lights etc. One of the big advantages of Bath & Kitchen Experts is that they include shower doors and installation in their projects. You don't have to go around and shop for your shower door in other places. This made the whole process flawless. We are very happy with the results and would definitely use Bath & Kitchen Experts again for future projects. Highly recommended!- Alex M.

ABath & Kitchen ExpertsI highly recommend Bath & Kitchen Experts. Paul and his team renovated our master bath on time and on budget at a competitive price. From our initial meeting and throughout the construction, Paul and his team were punctual, courteous, and compliant with our in-house COVID protocol. The demo crew did a clean and highly efficient job, covering the floors and stairs, sealing off the work area and ventilating, and were out in under three hours. Tony and Adam did fantastic craftsmanship, asked lots of detailed questions, took plenty of measurements, and took the time to explain issues that inevitably arise with any renovation project -- their expertise really put me at ease. I pay very close attention to the details and can confidently say that they were meticulous in getting everything perfect. Even when a fixture arrived a little later than expected, they came back Christmas Eve morning to put the finishing touches. Again, I highly recommend!- Noel A.

AMy wife and I recently used GT Renovations for a major kitchen remodel. We absolutely love our finished kitchen and can’t wait to show it off to friends and family! Overall, the staff was very helpful and worked with us at every twist and turn in the almost 4 month project. During that time, everyone involved was extremely professional and really seemed to care about what we had to say and how to bring our ideas to fruition. At times, we did wish communication was better as there were some mixups from the cabinet company they worked with; however, GT worked around those mistakes and apologized for the extra time added on to the project. With this being our first home and first time using a contractor for any renovation work, we were extremely satisfied with the process and finished product and we recommend GT Renovations for your project.

FHad Matrix over and they used scare tactics/heavy sales pressure and a $3000 rebate that was expiring that night (right...) to get us to sign right then for their ridiculous price of $16000. Told us we have black mold and "it's a good thing you got us in here when you did" I did not agree with this price and before he was out the door, they were willing to do it for $9500 with some BS marketing caveats.... ultimately hired a couple of local, very solid contractors, total cost less than $6000, oh and they found no mold whatsoever once the wall was opened up. BEWARE THIS COMPANY USES SCARE TACTICS!

ABest Fit Homes has completed a few different remodeling projects for my company and clients. The projects vary from kitchens and bathrooms to full house rehabs. They have very good attention to detail and the finished product looks great. Boyan is an excellent GC/Project manager. He is experienced, knowledgeable, always on time, and always on budget ( No change orders ). Best fit Homes is a very dependable company and I would gladly work with them in the future.

ABest Quality Tiles Is excellent, Ovi did a great job, is a very hard worker, who pays strong attention to detail and makes sure the job is done right. He takes pride in his work. He came out and provided a very fair estimate, and started the work a week later. Our project included the removal of old tile in an entryway and enlarging the area, removing and installing new tile in the bathroom as well as doing a remodel of the bathroom, and removal and installation of baseboard thought the condo. We are extremely pleased with everything that was done. Along the way Ovi made good suggestions and if there was an issue that arose, he consulted with us, made suggestions and solved the issue. He did other small projects as well for us, he went above and beyond, even making a referral for an excellent painter. It was a pleasure working with him. We can't be happier with Ovi, highly recommend Best Quality Tiles, will refer him to family and friends and and will definitely use his services again.

FContacted Brighton for a quote as they seem to be one of the few places in Chicago that does custom awning / canopy work for residential buildings. They were quick to get back to us and one of their estimators came out a couple of days later while he was in the area for a different customer. Their estimator was on time and very courteous, but didn't ask a lot of questions. In talking with him, he indicated they typically worked with wood and brick, and I responded that we specifically wanted something made from metal and glass. Estimator left after about 15 mins. And that's basically the last I heard from them. I didn't hear anything from them for 10 days, so dropped an email asking for an update, was told the estimator was working on something and would get back to me. Didn't hear anything for another 10 days, so sent another follow up email. To help with the estimating, I took the time to sketch up a possible solution and sent it along with the follow up email. Did get a reply back from the estimator stating there was a delay in the estimate because their carpentry lead had contracted Covid. I expressed my sympathies over the situation, but reminded them we wanted to use metal and glass only. It's been another 20 days and still haven't heard anything back, so giving up on them. TL/DR: Quick to come out for the estimate, zero follow up, they aren't comfortable working with metal and glass
