AVSI Radon Reduction Corp.During the process of selling our house the buyer's inspection turned up a high level of radon. We needed to get the problem mitigated as soon as possible. Called VSI based on a recommendation from our RE agent and VSI's rating on Angies List. Antone was very understanding and was able to schedule us quickly due to a cancellation. The crew arrived on time and installed the system without any problems. The retesting showed a reduction of nearly 98% in the radon level. Needless to say we were very pleased.- Bob F.

Based on my conversations with Eric (the owner) and, after seeing the detailed quote, I had confidence the company would pay attention to detail and be conscientious. I was not disappointed. Brandon and Shawn installed the system in 3.5 hours and were extremely friendly, conscientious and detailed. They made everything as aesthetic as possible (even hid the printing on the pipes against the wall) and did an exceptional job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend them to others and, in fact, have already told 2 friends to call them who were already interested in a system and waiting for my installation and recommendation.- Jim D.

ASteve Gavin, the owner came out and provided me with a great price that was inclusive of the entire scope of the project. During our meeting he took the time to explain the process that his company uses. Once the permits were issued the crew arrived the next morning at 7:00 a.m. as promised. The crew met the deadline for a 1:30 inspection from the Village of Deerfield. They not only met the deadline but they passed the inspection without any issues to be corrected. The crew worked until 7:00 p.m. completing the job. I would also note that they left my home spotless!

AI contacted Indoor Science through their online website form and received a call back immediately. The employee on the phone was very pleasant and provided a thorough explanation of the services that would be performed along with pricing. An appointment for two days after we spoke. Joel was the Project Manage that came out to do the inspection. He was on time and very personable and professional. He took the mold sample that I had collected and also did a tape sampling on the sill as an additional sample. He was able to identify that there was a moisture issue under the window that was causing the mold. He also checked a few other areas in my home that I had previous water issues and was able to confirm that they were now dry. Received the results of the mold samples in 3 working days. The report identified the type of mold (non-toxic) and Joel provided suggestions to fix the issue. It was a good experience and I would hire them again if needed and recommend to others. Thanks!

AThe buyer of our home contracted with this company for a radon test prior to closing. The original test results were high, so we had radon mitigation performed by another company (ARMS). We then hired Radon Detection Specialists to re-test our home and learned the radon levels were greatly reduced (o.8 pCi/L). This company was extremely professional and courteous. They explained what to expect and urged us to keep the house closed to other workers during the testing. I would highly recommend this company to our neighbors.
