    Estrada Fences
Two neighbors on the cul-de-sac has put in new Tru-Link fencing and encouraged me to use their rep for our new fence. Based on the Angie's List and Yelp reviews we went with Estrada and couldn't be more pleased. It is easy to make a side by side comparison as our fencing abuts our neighbor's. The appearances are, for the most part, similar. But for about the same money ours is sturdier and better built. The company was professional and a pleasure to work with. The worker's were efficient, polite and friendly.

    Woodmaster Fence
Rick and his team did an excellent job on my parent's fence at a very reasonable price. They demolished the old fence within hours and installed a beautiful board and batten fence straight as an arrow. Rick was patient and attentive to our concerns and needs and provided quick feedback to our questions. His installation team was kind, courteous and helpful. The fence looks great and we would highly recommend his services.

    Woodmaster Fence
Rick and his team were great to work with! The whole process went really smoothly and was completely stress free. As soon as he had acquired the village permit the work started. Rick came on the first morning of the installation to go over a few minor changes due to position of utility lines and our plat not being quite correct. We gained an additional 10 feet at our side boundary and it only increased the estimate by $77! The whole project was completed in under 2 days - fast with no reduction in quality. The hardware on both the gates looks great too. I would definitely recommend Rick and Woodmaster Fence.

Luis came out promptly to give an estimate to replace our 240' fence in the backyard.  He was fast and knew what he was talking about.  He got a bid out to us quickly and it was a very good price.  The only reason we did not go with Estrada Fences is that I really wanted the arbor gate like the one we currently have, and they couldn't build it.  He did suggest to go on line to purchase one and they would install it.  I did look into that option, but I ended up not wanting the additional step in this big job.  But this is ONLY reason we did not go with his company.  I have already recommended Estrada Fences to my brother who needs to replace part of his fence.  His prices are the best and he was very responsive from start to finish in my dealings with him.

    Woodmaster Fence
Our ornamental aluminium fence is 35 years old and many of the pickets were bent or the bottoms had broken off due to being hit by lawnmowers and other causes. It looked terrible and our new puppy could easily squeeze under the fence. The first two fencing contractors I called told me my only option was to replace it and gave me estimates ranging from $17,500 to $21,000 for a similar fence. Richard was the only one to tell me the manufacturer still produced an identical fence and the broken pickets could be replaced. The job was done a few weeks later and it looks great. Obviously the new pickets are blacker and shinier than the ones that have been standing for 35 years, but it really isn't as noticeable as I thought it would be, and I'm sure in a couple of years they will blend right in. THe gates now close properly. All this for $935.00 as opposed to $21000! I couldn't be happier.

    Family Fences LTD
They were fantastic from the initial call to the finish. I had messaged them through Angies list in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday and received a call within about an hour saying that they could come by for an estimate within a few hours. Keep in mind that the windstorm the previous day had done a lot of damage in the area. The representative arrived and said I was about the 15th person he had visited that day. He did his work and provided me with a quote at the time of the first visit which seemed very fair, considering I was in a bad spot with a damaged fence. Not only did he provide me with a quote, but said he could probably have a crew out by which I responded "This Tuesday?" And he said yes. Sure enough they arrived on Tuesday and did a great job fixing the existing fence. Besides the fact that they were responsible, responsive and did great work, they did NOT try to sell me a new fence. He could have just as easily told me that my fence was shot and needed full replacement, but he didn't and that is why I really trusted them. Now should we need a fence in the future(hopefully not too soon), then they will be the first place I call.

Bob Jaacks Rustic Wood Fencing & Decks
I received quotes from a couple of providers and Bob Jaacks Rustic Wood Fencing was a bit higher.  I shared with them the other quote I had from TruLink and Gina was able to come down a bit.  Even though I was operating with a tight budget, it was close enough that I preferred to use a local business over a national chain.  Gina was very patient as we went back with questions and adjustments to our initial bid several times before the install.  Ultimately, Gina met all our requirements and delivered as expected.
One situation worth noting is that some of my back and forth with Gina was around the topography of my yard.  I had bushes and a tree very near my lot line and sent her photos to ensure the fence could be installed behind the existing greenery.  She told me that they would not be able to do any landscaping at the install so whatever was there is what they would deal with.  I had my landscapers cut back some bushes along the lot line and expected the fence would have to start and stop around a tree that looked too close to the line to get behind.
On the day of install I got a call from my wife that the installer wanted to remove a railroad tie that was being used as a retaining wall for my neighbors yard.  I agreed to allow them to remove the one tie that would allow them to run the fence straight behind the tree mentioned above.  When I got home, I found that they had actually removed a substantial amount of bushes and all of the railroad ties that served as the retaining wall (my neighbor has pool and his yard is higher than mine since it was previously raised to allow for a level pool).  To be clear, the fence looked great and I know the installer did this to provide a good look to the finished product.  However, my neighbor was a bit irritated that the wall was removed without me speaking to him first.  Even though the wall was on my property, I understood his concern since neither of us want his yard to collapse into mine.
Following the install I got a call from Gina about the final bill and I was told the installer spent 4 hours doing landscaping.  I agreed that it appeared he had done quite a bit of work which was a surprise to me given my previous discussion with Gina about them not doing landscaping work and the call I had with the installer that morning about the single railroad tie. I got the feeling that she wanted to add a charge for that work which may have been OK had that been part of their proposal.  I felt like it would have been a bit unfair to charge me after the fact, especially since I had made it clear I was on a tight budget for the fence.  In the end, she asked if I was pleased with the work and I told her I was and would send her a check for the balance.
Based on my experience I would recommend Bob Jaacks Rustic Wood Fencing to others and encourage them to fully discuss any additional landscaping work that might be required for installation.  My fence looks great and I am very happy with the quality of wood and workmanship.

    Durabilt Fence Inc
Called late in the day and left a message on their machine requesting an estimate.  Received a call promptly the next day and spoke to a gentleman and gave him all the details regarding the picket fencing I wanted replaced.  This was on a Friday, and he promised to come out the Monday or Tuesday of the following week to do the estimate, and then let me know.  I did not even need to be home I was told.  This was the last contact I ever received.  Not sure if they ever even came out.  If they did I never received any estimate or proposal.  Have moved on and gone with another fence company.

    Signature Metal Works Inc

I went to meet Peter and Eugene at their shop. Based on my dimensions and the style I chose they made quickly a proposal for a taylormade metal balcony.I had an older wooden balcony which was replaced by Signature Metal Works' product and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Signature Metal Works was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had from start to finish. At the same time I had a major siding job done at my house and they communicated very well directly with my siding contractor for a proper preparation.

Everything from production to installation was done punctually within the planned schedule. They sent to me pictures of our balcony during different production phases and also invited me to check out the product at their shop.

Signature Metal Works has a unique line of metal balconies, flexibility and reliability to meet customers' expectations.

I can strongly recommend Signature Metal Works for any of your metal balcony or other metal fabrication needs..

    Advanced Fence & Gate
From beginning to end this company was professional and responsive. We received several estimate from various fencing contractors, including others on Angie's list. Advanced Fence and Gate, unlike many others, was on time for the appointment and sent the various requested estimates right away with a list of references. They returned all of my calls and e-mails asking questions in a timely manner. Unlike many contractors I have used, I never had to "chase" the company to get my questions answered or schedule the installation. The installation went very smoothly and the quality of work was excellent. The installation was supposed to take up to two days. However, the crew stayed late and finished it in one day; which made life much easier with my large dog. I would highly recommend Advanced Fence and Gate. One of the easiest companies I have ever dealt with.
